Campground Reviews

Jul 15, 2013
Overall an OK spot for a brief stay. My group stayed for four nights and we were placed in the row closest to a busy highway, terrible. Other overnight guests were placed on interior rows of sites. Restrooms were always messy after hours and they did not seem to get checked on by staff, very small.

Very clean, and the pool is nice. Owner Oscar is very friendly and helpful. This is a nice KOA, the only downside is some of the sites are real close to the highway so LOTS of road noise.

Great stay, close to everything.

I love the dinners and breakfasts you cook for tired travelers. The staff is friendly and helpful and the campground is fun.

The people were great. I love staying at KOA's because of the grass and the large shade trees. The only complaint is we were put right next to the pool and play ground and the kids and adults were very loud until after 10pm... :{

Staff is wonderful, camp is very clean. The sites are way too close to one another. Can reach out and touch an adjacent camper at each site. It is city-living camping, no thanks!

Tenting sites were very small. No baby diaper station in bathroom. Cost for breakfast was expensive.

You can always depend upon KOA to be a great stay for the night or week. It might be hard to find a KOA in your travels, but you know what to expect. No surprises. This is the 2nd time staying at Twin Falls on our way to Ponderosa State park from Colorado Springs.

Fun gift store, pool, nice employees, but if you are camping in a tent, be aware that you will have no shade, and it is hot in Idaho in the summer. Also, all the tent sites are next to an area I think they use for extra dirt?Tents are next to a large weed field. I don't have allergies but could not sleep due to itching and difficulty breathing.I asked for shade but was told it would cost more.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Our shade does not cost more. All tent sites are the same price except our electric tent site. If a non-reserved site is available we will move you. We try to control weeds throughout the park but sometimes they seem to get the upper hand.

Nice grassy, shady campsites. Good bathhouses. Good breakfast at the cafe with homemade marmalade!

Sites very unlevel, next to very loud road, pool needed repairs and cleaning.

Convenient, shady, friendly, offered dinner, breakfast, ice cream socials. Had the best dog run of the 9 KOA'S we stayed in over our 3 week vacation. West Yellowstone, Cannon, and Twin Falls get high ratings from us.

Food at KOA Cafe was very good. The people at the cafe were very nice and efficient. The young lady at the check in desk was very courteous , knowledgeable and helpfull. The escort let me get too close to the next camper while parking, but I should have been more aware of the situation too.

Great koa, we have been here before and we will certainly come back.

The facility was nice, but some of the customer service was questionable.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

For the safety of our campers and overnight sprinklers, tents are not allowed at RV sites. We will suggest alternatives as we did in this case. Due to insurance/fire regulations, fireworks not allowed at campground and we must patrol to avoid fires.

Sites are close together, but there are some good sites available, but we did not get one. Nice little dog park.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

If you ever want to switch sites, please let us know. If sites are available, we will be glad to meet your request.

good food and nice people thanks

I was traveling solo and hardly at the campground. I would arrive after the office closed and left before it opened. There was dog poop under my picnic table & the last shower in women's side only dripped & hard to control temp.

Great KOA. Loved the deluxe Kabin. Wished we could have stayed longer.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We also wish that our guests could stay longer and enjoy the area, our hospitality, and amenities. Thank you.

If I were to name the one thing that made this KOA shine, it would be the food! I had a steak that was better than the one I had at a national chain restaurant the day before and the service was better too! Thanks KOA!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Love hearing about a Great experience at our campground. Thank you.

The only thing that I did not like was at the moment I drove in I could smell the overwhelming scent of the cattle/dairy farm fertilizer in the air. The staff was very helpful to our needs.

to close to neighbor dont like the buddy spots.
Jul 08, 2013
Great place, nice people, clean bathrooms, restaurant on site, all services and shops close by. Just didn't care for the ramshackle house with weird people (shooting at night) on the north side of the camp ground. I'd stay closer to the cabins and request a site away from the Highway
