It is usually very good, but not being notified that the water was going to be shut off for the whole was not good.

Stayed at Tucson KOA site 1600 for our annual holiday stay successfully. Conveniently close to pool, dog park & playground. Suggest to leave more site/streets lights on at 6pm due to kids on bikes & dog walkers out on roads. In Dec. & Jan. it is dark at 6pm. Playground bark/stones are out on road causing walking & biking difficulties. Either sweep daily or contain. Staff great. We will be back!

Enjoyed our stay and was very convenient to everything.

Was disappointed that the water was shut off for an extended period of time. Was not notified at check in or via text/email. If was notified I could have prepared. Will be back in the future but notifying guests of repairs that will affect your stay should be constantly notified.

Clean, very considerate folks.

Excellent campground. Should be heat & hot water in the shower area. Unable to use the showers.

The dog paw pen was full of mud, the 2nd day we had no water for 10 hours without any prior notice, so even the clubhouse was inaccessible during that entire day. The wifi took a Philadelphia lawyer to figure out after 2 calls to tech support , and then it is so slow! One dog park i went to had too much poop. People need to clean up after their pets! The store candy was too costly and hard

Nice, safe, clean, and orderly RV park.

Loved everything about our stay would recommend this and would come back hands down

We love this place but the staff is not what it use to be. the phone isn't being answered. Some of the staff were not friendly. We were told that the management company changed so maybe the staff isn't being treated as well. Not sure, hope things get better.

Very nice facility. However, I was not informed about the water shut down via email or text. Luckily, I just happened by the office and read the small print notice on the door. This prevented me from extending our stay.

Everyone very nice and helpful. The grounds are clean, well arranged and easy to get around. I’ll be back.

Love your place. One of our favorite RV parks. We’ll be back for sure. Thank you!

Very nice place, the back in spots against the wall have ALOT of road noise so next time I will request a different spot. The restraunt on site has good food but needs some upgrades inside.

Great experience and beautiful park. Staff was courteous and very helpful. Thank you so much. We would most certainly come back to Tucson KOA whenever we can and are in the area. First class facilities.

Enjoyed our stay - staff were very friendly and helpful when we asked to extend our stay for an extra 6 days. They tried their best to make it work on the site we were on, however, it just wouldn't work. We moved and are just as happy with the new site. The sites are huge, and easily accommodate our 40 foot coach and tow vehicle.

We really enjoyed our stay. In particular, Alex and Tonya were wonderful people to interact with. I won't lower my rating just because we ran into a few "salty" workers, including the GM. That kind of behavior doesn't belong at a KOA. It really is a great surprise bonus to have citrus trees all around the park. Nice big dog park, watch out for flooding after big rain days!

We really enjoy our camping experiences at this KOA. The staff is very friendly and everything is kept so clean.

Love this campground!!!! The paw pen is just fantastic and our dog really appreciated it! The campground itself is really well run with pretty much any amenity you could ask for. The restaurant was ok. They were very busy the night we ate there and the service and food were just so so. We felt kinda ignored while our server talked with everyone else.

nice place to stay

Coming in the person who lead us to the space wasn’t very nice an abandoned us part way to the site. We did mention it to the desk.

This was by far the nicest KOA RESORT we have stayed in. The facility is absolutely beautiful with two pools, pickleball courts, to many amenities to mention. The staff is friendly and informative! We chose a pet park spot for our fur babies and it was amazing, with a tree, patio a nf fire pit. First class resort all the way! If you're visiting Tucson I highly recommend this facility.

We stayed last year and really enjoyed it, this trip unfortunately missed the mark including customer service. The electric and internet did not work and wasn't fixed until the morning by maintenance, we went a night without heat. The attitude of the front desk was also concerning, 3 staff members including night security tried blaming me for tripping the electric box.

Always helpful staff. Clean campus. Lots of dog run spaces.

Nice KOA, Dog parks could be a bit larger. Spaces are nice size. Showers were nice, water could be a tad hotter for my liking. Other then that they were well kept.

2 nights, nice campground. Second time to stay when traveling to CA.

We will definitely be back. One of the nicest and well maintained parks we've stayed at. The staff is helpful and friendly as well.

It was another great stay but the pool and hot tub seemed to have issues with their heaters and our internet only worked for 1 day of our 10 day stay. If these items are built into the price that seems to keep going up then maybe that's something to consider. The staff are always so welcoming and the resort is always clean and inviting.

Great place to stay. But to many dogs. You here dogs barking all the time!
Jan 04, 2024
The nicest KOA we have ever stayed at. Great amenities and very reasonable rates. Easy to park, close to things to do.

Not sure how to do this but guests are not picking up their dog poop especially in the far NE park. Had to throw out a pair of shoes it was so bad. Wish there were more grassy patio sites with hedges.

Been coming here for a couple years and in most areas they shine. Some of these activities might be seasonal, we were there Feb-Mar 2024, so keep that in mind. Spacious sites and most are level, cable tv available but pretty basic(no Golf or Hallmark/GAC channels), fruit trees(orange, lemon, grapefruit) that you can pick from, two pools with hot tubs, a restaurant on-site with generally decent food, two laundry rooms(which sometimes get crowded and there are usually machines down for maintenance), a fitness center with treadmills/bikes/rowing machines & dumbbell weights(thanks go to the slimeball who stole 1-30lb dumbbell around the middle of Feb-it made me up my weight), basic pickleball court, and two sets of bathrooms with showers. Park is kept really clean by the crew patrolling in golf carts continually during the day. Sunday pancakes w/ sausage for $ was good, but even better when they switched back to blueberries versus chocolate chips. The staff handling that were great & fun! Donuts/snacks on Thursday's were also fun. They charged a $1 for a donut this year but no big deal as far as I was concerned. Previous yrs saw the young, & yes some old, take advantage of the free ones. There were also plenty of crafty things going on, along with Trivia every so often in the restaurant. Couple downers this year and one was Bingo. Previous years they had cash payout for winning, this year it was a ‘Mystery Prize' that you got when spinning the wheel. Half hour bike rental, 6 wings, etc. We attended one time to see what it was, and never went back. Used to fill two rooms, with maybe 8-10 tables, approx. 8 people at each table. The time we went there was one room, couple tables, not filled. Used to be a fun social get-together. Heard the money all went to their Kare Camp fund, which is a great cause. But from what I understand, the fund got half of the proceeds from previous years. With attendance down, I wonder if they made more or less this year. Another downer was realizing that deposits & site picks for next year had increased 5 times from the previous year! That's a lot of MY money for KOA to be sitting on for a year. Also, water was shutoff three different times for maintenance. They did warn everyone days in advance, so use of your fresh water tank was imperative. Felt sorry for the tent campers though. Water out meant bathrooms closed too. They were fixing leaks. Gates are closed & guarded at night. There is some noise. Two busy streets, one International Airport, one Air Force Base, and train tracks, can disturb the light sleeper. Propane refill is offered. Last I heard, motorhomes go to them, they do not come to your site. Plenty of dog areas are offered all over the park. Heard some yippers on/off. Plan on going back again but hope some things change back the way they were. Seemed to be a lot less comradery this year.
