RV Reviews

This is a very nice RV resort and well layer out and has many site options, covered ,pet and deck patios. The solar panels used as an option for shade, which I have used in August on my last visit help quite a bit is innovative and clever.

The ground maintenance was poor. Weeds in the sites and debris under bushes. People were very friendly. Neighborhood was poor and loud with racing cars and sirens.

The park is wonderful we enjoy it every year. Really wish they had some restrictions on dangerous breed dogs. I know of two small dog attacks this year. So sad to see dogs get harmed in an attack

Most Amazing KOA ever. People the restraunt is resort touch. Amazing food. Who want to cook during a overnight stay. I only wished I had planned a week stay. Thank you for all you do for us RVers.

Nice park. Loved our site #1396. Only minor complaints are that more than half of the washers were out of order and the dog wash area has no hot water….really? Dogs need a warm bath too.

The park is beautiful and well maintained & keep you informed of the goings on in the park. The only downside was the day we left. My wife and I were talking to another RVer next door about 10:40. A person in a yellow and black plaid shirt came by and asked if we were checking out and we said yes. He (rudely) said you have13 minutes so hurry on out. My wife, neighbor & I agreed he was very rude

Only improvement needed is for there to be grab bars in the men's handicapped shower at the smaller pool restrooms.

This park is absolutely amazing. It has everything you need and staff is excellent. We enjoyed our stay tremendously and would stay again next time we're in Tucson.

We have been coming to Lazy Days since 2019 - the level of quality for a KOA RESORT has degraded each year that we visited. But the prices have increased dramatically. Two examples are the quality of internet services and the quality of the 2nd public facilities. So you didn't remodel - the place should be cleaned within an inch of its life and it is not. It is like you are taking the monies out

The park was nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful. My only suggestion is that the laundry rooms need cleaning, maintenance and/or updating.

Beautiful place to stay! Cean, quiet, spacious! Plenty to do.

Great, clean, quiet campground. One complaint is that I was not informed at my checkin on Wednesday afternoon that the water would be turned off at 8 am. I found this out from a gentleman in the restaurant. While it was not really an inconvenience, it would have been nice to have been informed in advance. Water hookups need to be higher to allow for a filter.

One of our favorite places to stay! Kids and adults alike both enjoy picking the citrus from the trees that are on every spot in the campground. On-site restaurant is fabulous. And the amenities that the park offers are terrific.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We really liked being able to pick fresh fruit off the fruit trees. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. Next time we pass through we will definitely stay longer and check out your bar & grill and other site seeing attractions in the Tucson area,

All is good except for the entrance into the RV site where the shrubs on each side encroach into the driveway making it very difficult to enter the site without scratching the coach. The placement if the sewer connection on the left also hamper safe entry into the site. Trimming the shrubs back on both sides of the space significantly would help. Site was 1362.

This has to be the best KOA we have ever stayed in during all our travels. Impeccably clean with lots of great features including a on premise barbecue restaurant and bar that is fantastic. We will definitely be back for a longer stay.

Wonderful campground! The team in the main office are incredibly helpful. Love all the grass playgrounds for dogs, the pools, hot tubs and activities. Only wish the food in the restaurant was a bit better.

Been coming here for a couple years and in most areas they shine. Some of these activities might be seasonal, we were there Feb-Mar 2024, so keep that in mind. Spacious sites and most are level, cable tv available but pretty basic(no Golf or Hallmark/GAC channels), fruit trees(orange, lemon, grapefruit) that you can pick from, two pools with hot tubs, a restaurant on-site with generally decent food, two laundry rooms(which sometimes get crowded and there are usually machines down for maintenance), a fitness center with treadmills/bikes/rowing machines & dumbbell weights(thanks go to the slimeball who stole 1-30lb dumbbell around the middle of Feb-it made me up my weight), basic pickleball court, and two sets of bathrooms with showers. Park is kept really clean by the crew patrolling in golf carts continually during the day. Sunday pancakes w/ sausage for $ was good, but even better when they switched back to blueberries versus chocolate chips. The staff handling that were great & fun! Donuts/snacks on Thursday's were also fun. They charged a $1 for a donut this year but no big deal as far as I was concerned. Previous yrs saw the young, & yes some old, take advantage of the free ones. There were also plenty of crafty things going on, along with Trivia every so often in the restaurant. Couple downers this year and one was Bingo. Previous years they had cash payout for winning, this year it was a ‘Mystery Prize' that you got when spinning the wheel. Half hour bike rental, 6 wings, etc. We attended one time to see what it was, and never went back. Used to fill two rooms, with maybe 8-10 tables, approx. 8 people at each table. The time we went there was one room, couple tables, not filled. Used to be a fun social get-together. Heard the money all went to their Kare Camp fund, which is a great cause. But from what I understand, the fund got half of the proceeds from previous years. With attendance down, I wonder if they made more or less this year. Another downer was realizing that deposits & site picks for next year had increased 5 times from the previous year! That's a lot of MY money for KOA to be sitting on for a year. Also, water was shutoff three different times for maintenance. They did warn everyone days in advance, so use of your fresh water tank was imperative. Felt sorry for the tent campers though. Water out meant bathrooms closed too. They were fixing leaks. Gates are closed & guarded at night. There is some noise. Two busy streets, one International Airport, one Air Force Base, and train tracks, can disturb the light sleeper. Propane refill is offered. Last I heard, motorhomes go to them, they do not come to your site. Plenty of dog areas are offered all over the park. Heard some yippers on/off. Plan on going back again but hope some things change back the way they were. Seemed to be a lot less comradery this year.
