We come often to stay on the riverfront! This KOA is fantastic! The facility is always clean and well managed. The staff is always accommodating and patient! Thanks for providing a wonderful vacation experience!

Riverfront deluxe patios are dated and need repairs. It’s better to stay other waterfront sites.

Great very close to park we tubed river. Clean large showers and plenty laundry. Really enjoy the pool. Curious staff and helpful

We love the site but they are a bit close to the next site when enjoying the campfire. Site 12 needs more space for the fire. Worried our neighbors a bit that smoke would mar their unit. And it would be very helpful to make a way down to river from those steep sites.

The people that run the campground are very nice and helpful. Adam was fantastic. He led us to our campsite and helped me back in, he really knows what he's doing. The campground is well kept but the section we were in, the sites were close together and small. The river is nice and being an older campground there are lots of trees for shade. So, my only complaint is the small campsite.

The best campground we've stayed at yet. The site, right on the banks of Little River, was awesome. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. The laundry facilities were in great working order. The campground was clean, well-maintained, quiet and beautiful. It is also located to get to several interesting sites easily.

Had a beautiful river view site, with a stamped concrete patio area. Very peaceful, shaded spot. The bath house has private rooms, very clean. Entire campground is heavily shaded. Swings, benches on a grassy area by the river and easy access for tubing or kayaking. We love the slower, less crowded pace of Townsend and will return! (Some sites very close but allows more water sites.)

By far one of the nicest RV campgrounds we have stayed at. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly and the facilities were super clean and well maintained. Our campsite on the water was wonderful. We didn’t want to leave but we will definitely be back!! Thank you so much!

Nice place to camp for a long weekend. The pads are level and the utilities works great. The wifi is pretty slow so don't expect to stream much. Cell service and hotspots don't really work during the day as the networks are too congested from people visiting and passing through Townsend but it improves at night when people leave. We had a storm one day and lots of branches came down in spots.

This was our first KOA experience. It was really great! We loved your amenities. Your staff was wonderful too! We got a membership so we'll be visiting lots more often!

Great place to camp if you are in the gatlinburg/pigeon forge area. Super well maintained, each lot is landscaped for privacy,great shower house and laundry area with never ending hot water, pleasant staff eager to help your stay to be extra special. Keep it up!

We had a fantastic time at the KOA in Townsend! The staff was friendly and very helpful. We had some car issues and the maintenance staff took the time to help us out and make sure the problem was solved! The location of this KOA was perfect. Only 15-20 mins to Cades Cove, 40 mins to downtown Gatlinburg, and right on the water, making it peaceful, and not too close to the business of Gatlinburg

People walking through campsite, loud music being played with profanity, cars from other campsites parked in or in front of my campsite. Was not a relaxing atmosphere.

Really nice park that is well maintained. Can’t beat the location to the Smokies. Lots of activities for kids in the park. Escorts are helpful with parking. We have stayed twice now and would return again.

We had a fantastic time. It is literally one of the best campgrounds we have ever been to! Plus - everything was so clean, and the workers were more than helpful.

This is a "Holiday" KOA so it has amenities for campers who stay away and look for entertainment. It is just outside and entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The "Little River" flows by the edge of the campground then into the National Park. some sites back up to the river. There are many trees in the campground. The bathroom and other building facilities are dated in design but clean, neat and spotless in appearance. I feel the whole campground is well maintained. I have a high-end site, $100/night but I like the space. All sites are gravel. Mine was in excellent condition. Very quiet at night. No AT&T cell service but the campground WiFi worked very well all the time.
