A young KOA park but seems to be growing.

Judy from the staff was very helpful. No 50 amp service. Bathrooms and showers were full of bugs.Very low water pressure.

WE were impressed by the campground. The cabin we stayed in was well-kept and reasonably priced. Walking around the grounds we found that most tent sites were private, surrounded by trees.

In all my years of camping I have never went to a campsite and was assigned a site(27) and left a lot of my personal items on site while going into Toronto for the day to return to find a new family fully unloaded in my site even though my items were cleary present. There was no help from the office as it appeared not to be a real concern to them as they asked me to move to a new location instead.

Very simple, quiet(other than hwy traffic) KOA. Friendly staff. Nice unique pull through campsites.

we were told that this campground could accomodate Big Rigs, but what we didn't know is that I would be catching all the branches as I drove to my site. My air conditioning cover got caught, so please trim your branches. The owner/manager lady was there when it happended. when we left and got to the gate, the gate would not open, and someone yelled at us through the intercom to go the other way

Stay was ok.The bathrooms and especially the showers need updating. The water pressure in the showers needs to be increased!

Thought quiet time was at 11:00 p.m. There was a band playing until after 12:30 a.m. My kids and I could not get to sleep because of all the noise.

Great place but hard to get to from Toronto. Traffic was crazy. Nice big place and the bathrooms were close. Cabin was clean and comfortable. Ez on and off the 401 from there.

We were at this campground 20 years ago. Not impressed with it 20 years ago - thought it would have improved. Problems: 1. Pool - no chairs. 2. Campsite - not level/humped - campfire under awning - Dining tents? 3. Store hours - closed at 6:00pm 4. Children - no activities. 5. Rec room - poor. 6. Owners? Not friendly.

We just stayed at the KOA in Quebec City South and there was no comparison between the two places. With the size of Toronto nearby we had expected more. This campground is "tired".
Jul 13, 2012
They do pretty well - given their noisy location. Great pool, outstanding game room, very helpful staff.

WE got spoiled at the KOA at Niagra FAlls -- wonderful campground and very clean and really up to date. This KOA rather outdated, picnic tables falling apart, bathrooms in need of fixing up, pool liner needed cleaning at the top, etc.
Jul 10, 2012
This KOA is right next to the busy 401. Staff was not very friendly and were not available after 6. Store closed at 6. Would not stay there again.
Jul 07, 2012
The KOA was ok, its the noise from the 401 that was a complete vacation spoiler. I was really upset, we had our 2yr old son and he wasnt able to sleep in the cabin at night due to the noise. I asked if they could make an exception to allow us to leave a day early and get our money back and was told no. The cabins were not ever sold out so I dont know why the could not accomodate, we left anyway

Whole site appeared to be run down and in need of a good clean-up. Difficult to get decent water pressure in our trailer. We were told they were full for Canada day but only were less than half full???
Jul 05, 2012
Everyone extremely friendly. However, it needs an upgrade pretty bad. Most of the park was clean but restroooms and showers need an upgrade pretty bad.

We only booked an overnight stay but we'll return for a longer visit in the future. The campground being close to the highway you still had that "close to nature" feeling! The camping area was clean, KOA staff were friendly and helpful. Thanks

The campground was a little to open and cramped. No trees, no privacy, and trailers are to close. The people that run the place are very freindly and run it real well with what they have. The kids had a great time on the bikes, at the playground and in the pool. The pool was just lovely. But it was unfortunate that the pool was closed, for low chemicals. The pricing was very reasonable. Thanks

BATHROOM NEAR OFFICE WAS ALL TIME DIRTY AND THE BATHROOM IN THE MIDDLE OF CAMPGROUND HAVE ONLY ONE TOILET WORKING.OFFICE CLOSE AT 6PM CANT BUY WOOD OR SOMETHING ELSE,NEED TO GO IN TOWN.POOL WAS DIRTY SUNDAY AND NOT OPEN MONDAY.THE GOOD POINT OF THIS PLACE ,YOU COULD GO IN/OUT AT ANY HOUR WITH YOUR CAR AND IS CLOSE FROM TORONTO.GOOD FOR STAY ONE BUT NO MORE.

Campground is great, except for the showers. Please improve them!

Staff were great. Customer Service A++++ BBQ and games on Saturday, free go cart rentals on Sunday - the kids had a blast. Loved the pool! Women's showers could use tweaking in water pressure and temperature. Overall, had a great weekend. Thanks. :o)

I did not like my site. it had a run down hydro box that wasnt very attractive looking. spent most of my time inside my trailer. the koa near canadas wonderland is far superior to this one. i probably will never return.

biggest improvement I would like to see is easier access(stairs) to get into the pool and a hot tub would be great!!!

They close the office at 18h00 which is too early. Most locations stay open until 20h00 which would have worked better with my schedule

The 2 nights that I stayed here were the BEST camping experience I have ever had! Judy and Larry are absolutely amazing! They were extremely helpful not only with camping matters but also with directions and general information of the surrounding area. I am from Kentucky and this was my first trip to Canada. These 2 made me feel as if I was home. Please recognize and reward Judy and Larry! Thanks!

Very convenient to where we were going in Mississauga & we enjoyed being able to walk to the Mohawk Inn for dinner.

It was unfortunate that I experience the septic problem but things happen. The staff responded immediately and provided a new site and the visit continued. It was my grandsons first experience at camping and he cried when we left. I think that says it all.

Excellent stay. Been coming for a few years now. Larry and Judy are doing a great job. Everything looks and feels pregressively better every year. Thanks to Larry and Judy. Keep up the good work!

VERY NICE PEOPLE RUN THIS CAMP. THERE WAS A BIT OF MIX UP ON THE SITE I HAD RENTED SO HAD TO STAY WAY FAR FROM POOL. BEING SENIOR AND POOR HEALTH COULD NOT WALK THAT FAR AND ENJOY POOL. HOPE FULLY HAVE THAT FIXED FOR NEXT TIME.
