A fantastic spot for an overnight stay. Staff is very helpful & friendly. Sites are not too close together. We loved it & will use it again!

Bathrooms are very dirty. The whole campground appears to be cared for with disregard.

Showers and Bathrooms need upgrade and sprayed for bugs.

Good overnight stop. Close to the Thruway exit. Site was back in and we were in the shade which was a great place to be in the heat. Within 15 minutes of the Toledo zoo which we enjoyed. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was clean but needs some shade, either umbrellas or tents for some shade. The bathhouse needs some updates.

Small cramped bathrooms that are not kept very clean and have very little ventilation.

This was our 2nd time staying at this campground. Nice campground & staff. Reasonably priced wine available in store. Only wish they had better signage for turn on Lucky Road.

A Journey Koa with friendly staff.Nice pull thru sites.

No signs on the roads to tell you where to go. The lawnmower man was cutting at sites were people were staying and also leaf blowing while you're sitting outside! Very dusty, and our water was nasty tasting and had so much pressure to it that when you turn your water on it spits back at you. We stayed 3 nights and it was like that the whole time

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The water situation has been fixed.

we were on a corner lot so dust was somewhat a problem. always had to dust the picnic table bench especially in mornings so pants were not dirty, otherwise good!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We are 4.5 inches behind normal rainfall. Everything is dusty.

We enjoyed every night that we stayed at Toledo East KOA!

Very friendly.

The site was fine, having no sewer, the dump station was on wrong side upon exiting. The laundry room was dusty & the ac vent was gross

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

That dump station was built 40 some years ago when the campground was smaller.

This was a great campground. The sites were long and roomy, but some had a little too much slop. The water pressure was only about 20# but it did not affect us at all. Staff was excellent and friendly. Next visit we would definitely spend more than one night.

I was surprised that it was so expensive for what it had to offer. We stayed at a nicer one the next night for less than half the price!

Liked it

The campground is great. It is quiet, friendly and clean. Our site was large and wooded with a cement patio area. We have stayed in the past and will return in the future!
Jul 06, 2016
Great location, close to all the areas draws, such as Toledo Mud Hens baseball Lake Erie fishing & shopping. The campgrounds are clean and well maintained & the staff is friendly.

Appreciated the attention to details such as the morning garbage pickup.

The plumbing in the bath house is filled with air so at best you are getting 1/3 of a shower and the rest is a mist. The dog park - don't bother. There for 3 nights in July and the poop bucket was never emptied - disgusting!! Owners were nice but just not up to the task.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The water issue has been repaired.

The new info board is neat. Nacho Danny was fun too.
Jul 05, 2016
problem - air in the water lines

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

This is being repaired today. Holiday weekends are a bad time to have plumbing issues.

The site (404) was excellent. Flat and very big. Only reason I did not give 5 stars was lack of amentities for kids

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We are a Journey campground which means you should not expect to see a lot of activities for kids.

The RV sites in the back are really nice and spacious. There are plenty of trees so it's a pretty location. The pool was very cold, not many people used it for that reason. The playground needs some attention, very worn out and broken down. There was a fun wagon ride for the kids. It was just an "okay" KOA. We probably wouldn't come back, maybe just a place to stop over on a long trip.

An older campground but well kept.

Not many events for the children but it was quiet, clean, and close to the Toledo Zoo.
Jul 04, 2016
The water pressure in the bathrooms was very low. Toilets did not flush correctly and the showers did not work well.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We had a plumbing issue and the plumber is on his way to fix it.
Jul 04, 2016
Woman's bathroom was dirty. Dirt ring in toilet, ended up not using because of unsanitary conditions. Sign said bathrooms are cleaned at 12:00. We arrived at 4 but it was obvious the bathrooms were not cleaned.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The bathrooms are cleaned daily around noon. Busy weekends do affect the CG, we get back at it.
