Very nice with friendly staff. The sites could have used more gravel. If it had rained, the site would have been very messy.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Site gravel is on our todo list.

very old looking. Bathrooms dirty. Internet was the worst I have had at a Koa

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Bathrooms are cleaned twice a day on most days. Our wifi covers 75% of the campground.

We weren't there long but the park could use some updating but the people the run the park seem really nice.It wasn't bad for what we used it for.

For an overnight stay it was fine. The upkeep did not meet KOA specs. People were very friendly

We had a good time however price was higher than other similar campgrounds.
Jun 16, 2013
bath houses not up to KOA standards - could not adjust shower head (sprayed outside of stall) and water ran how and cold.

Very nice campground and the staff are very nice. The only thing that kept us from rating it five stars was the sewer connection was too far away and required a really long hose.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Sewer connection locations are regulated by the state Dept of Health. We have no say in their positions.

Men's bathroom is a little rough, but overall a great place.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Our bathhouse is a 40 yr old block building. In the last 12 mo it's had all new showers, new partitions, a paint job and replaced sinks. On most days it's cleaned twice a day.

I think the maintenance was on vacation for the summer. The putt-putt was very unkempt - weeds around the course; leaves and debris on the course itself. The campsite was quiet except for the loud train blaring it's horn all night and occasional barking dogs. The campground and sites could be spruced up with a little tlc. Men's restroom was not the cleanest.

Expensive grass long. Not well kept. Even with discount 45.00.

Thunderstorms, some severe, Friday evening through late Saturday Nice location

Campground and staff were fine. Unfortunately, one camping neighbor left for most of the day. They left three dogs in their trailer who barked, howled and whined most of the time. Campground was rustic, but clean.

extremely muddy after moderate rain fall. office staff very nice and helpful. Not easy to find. Didn't see any KOA signs on highway and Luckey Street not marked on right side of road going toward Perrysburg.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The state of Ohio doubled the cost of the road signs. We would have had to raise rates to keep them up. Most campers have GPS now.

Older park, well maintained. A problem with our site was the power was in the front of site and our 5th wheel connection is in the rear (took about 45 feet of power cable.

For the most part, this campground is in need of a makeover. While it serves the purpose of a place to park for a day or two, it's definitely not a place you would bring children to or stay for any length of time. The ownership is very nice and cooperative.

The camp site was nice, but the water in the showers had a foul smell. The area for dropping off the dog waist was next to the pool area. The wi fi service was poor.

Only stayed one night but it was quiet; good sleeping and easy out the next morning back to Ohio Turnpike

They touted an "84 degree" swimming pool. Even the day of our arrival. Pool was like ice. Clerk said oh maybe he shut the heater off because we are slow. Nice. That was a large part of why we came here. Also super dirty and way too much chlorine. Rest of park not well kept. Very low rate. Sorry. Just my opinion. We were extremely disappointed.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The pool is 84.1 degrees by digital thermometer. This customer stayed on a cold weekend.

Very nice area. Our site was a little soggy, BUT, the rain was extremely heavy. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Very quiet and woodsy. Employees are extremely personable and friendly. Not a lot of organized activity for campers but that ensures valuable family time together.

We had a great time, except for the weather. We didn't have to monitor the children constantly because the campground isn't so big that they can get lost. My grandchildren are aged 10,11, and 16. They had so much fun on the hayrides and swimming and golfing. My husband enjoyed just pulling the camper into our site without backing up. The site was nice and wide. Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend.
