The landscaping looks a little run down. We arrived late Monday and left early on a Tuesday. It was quiet, not many campers at that time. Office staff was accommodating. Steps to the office were a little difficult for me. A handicap ramp would be useful.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We have a handicap ramp clearly marked with signage.

The camp ground was just that a campground no frills just people walking dogs

First and last time staying at this KOA. Campground seems run-down but yet higher priced than some nice Holiday KOA's. Campground needs weeds pulled and sprucing up!

Would like to see a few more things to do for the kids. it is kind out there....

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

As a Journey campground we probably won't be adding more kids activities. See the KOA website for more details on Journey.

Roads were so uneven and bumpy that kids couldn't ride bikes. Pull thru site was difficult to get trailer on due to overgrown trees at the corners. Mini golf area looked overgrown and not kept up. Pool was nice. People were nice. Just a little sloppy and not maintained very well for an expensive KOA

Great place to stay especially the pull thru spots!
Jun 19, 2017
$40 too much for no septic hookup. $10 charge for possible over stay on last day, we were out 15 min before check out time of 1PM.
Jun 19, 2017
The stay was ok, the campgrounds just needs to some daily maintenance, cut the grass, do some weed trimming, roads need some work.

The bathrooms were in serious need of upgrading and repair compared to other KOA's we've stayed in. Wouldn't shower there.
Jun 18, 2017
Very hard to park trailer.Bathrooms were dirty and the shower was cold. Whole park needs to be updated.I thought KOA stands for better quality!

Lousy cable; next to unreliable WIFI; very dusty; narrow roads.
Jun 17, 2017
People were friendly - park was clean and quiet. Space was not level, but most sites did look level

We thoroughly enjoyed the heated pool; the addition of the basketball hoop was a fun change from a typical pool. The Wi-Fi and cable both worked great. What a nice surprise that we could purchase beer right at the office/store!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

You might be surprised by the number of people who think beer sales is an issue. It's not.

It's improving as we stay and each time we visit. It is a pit-stop for us as we travel east and west
Jun 13, 2017
For a reserved pull thru this was horable, NO sewer, barely long enough for my 34 footer with a car in tow.., office could not give directions to tthe interstate, I was lost as I followed my GPS thru town.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We have a limited number of full hook up sites and not everyone who wants one can get one. This camper accepted what was offered to him.

Road in campground very rough. Needs graded and gravel. Restrooms and showers unsanitary!!! Terrible!!!
Jun 13, 2017
We enjoyed our stay although we didn't use many of the amenities. We would definitely stay there again.

Large site (#110), gynd pool was fun. Roads very bumpy with lots of ruts. Pleasant stay.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The ruts are a byproduct of pothole removal. Soon to be gone.

Clean and quiet. Staff friendly and helpful.
Jun 12, 2017
Sites are rather close together. We just used as an overnight stop.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

There is 25 ft of grass between sites in the section in which you stayed. Cannot do anything about it.

Site roads are bad - deeply rutted that rattle motorhome. Pool hours listed were not observed. KOA is convenient to I75 which is a plus.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Pool hours were changes this year and the new hours are posted everywhere our pool info is listed.

Stony Ridge KOA is a campground with a classic feel. The woodsy outdoors beckons you outside and whispers to you to start a campfire and visit with your fellow campers and neighbors. You rarely miss the electronics, however, the cable and Wi-Fi are available. I would like to see the restroom facilities get an upgrade. Some days you just need to wash off the dirt and smoke.

we wanted shade, didn't get it, but it was nice and quiet at night, we liked that. and no street lights. that was good..
Jun 05, 2017
The bathrooms could of been cleaned more but other than that it was nice, this was our second time at this KOA.

Stay was fine but interior roads could use some work. Pot holes and dusty.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The pothole grinding machine was repaired on the afternoon of June 1 and we immediately ground out the potholes. All is smooth now. There is no way to remove the dust.

Staff very friendly & helpful. Bathrooms old but clean. I'm very particular with regard to bathrooms. I would shower in these. We were just passing thru. I would stay again.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Yes, the bathrooms are older, but we try our best to keep them clean.

Clean grounds and pool. Quiet hours observed well. No real complaints but there was not as many activities there like some of the other KOA's I have stayed at.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

If you want activities look for a Holiday KOA. We are a Journey and cater more to the overnite travelers.

No WiFi service. When it rains, it floods! FILTHY & smelly restrooms!! EXTRA $4 per person.NOT going back here!!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

WiFi gets overrun when the campground is full. Too many users

We stay here at least once a year. It's conveniently located to what we like to do in the Toledo area.
May 30, 2017
Owners are great very quiet. Have stayed a couple times for baseball tournaments very accommodating about late checkout due to championship game. Will stay again.
May 30, 2017
Where we were at in the upper section, it was great. Like what most other people said in reviews fits things exactly. Hosts very nice people, but for a KOA camp ground it needs a lot of work. I've camped in a lot of KOA camp grounds and this is one of the worst.
May 30, 2017
I believe the camp needs a little TLC. The pool was cloudy, the mini golf was not cleaned up from debris and needs to be painted, the sites need backfill so that we can enjoy a campfire after a rain, and the men's bathroom always spelled like urine. This was our first KOA experience, so we were very disappointed. The staff was pleasant (FYI).

Poorly maintained roads and drainage.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

There is nothing we can do about the drainage, however the pothole problem has been fixed for good.
May 29, 2017
Did not meet our expectations for cleanliness and upkeep that we are used to in a KOA.
May 29, 2017
nice campground but small sites. We only stayed one night.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Our older section was built 40 yrs ago when campers were smaller.
