Nice campground including the staff. Have stay at this campground once before and will stay again.

Simple stay at a primitive campsite. Staff is helpful although the store is over priced extraordinarily high. Paid for 4 D cell batteries. All were dead. No air mattress after all. As a place to camp. It's great. Staff is helpful and the grounds are clean. People pulling in at midnight with halogens blazing at the tents should be addressed. Great time. Great staff.

Good as usual.

The campground is acceptable for a night or 2 but the facilities are in desperate need of attention and cleaning. My 6'4 husband never choses to shower in our short trailer shower over the camp showers but he did this time even after being on the road for 2 weeks with rustic facilities.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Most of our customers do not feel that way.

Quiet

A little less cleanly than normal but overall positive experience.

Overall an ok campground for an overnight, our pull thru site was not very level, which is disappointing and hard to deal with a class A motor home, the bathrooms seem old and needing an update, but like I said we only stayed one night on our way through town.

Had a night registration. Everything was as expected. They knew we were coming late and gave us a site at the beginning of the row so it was easy to get into. That was very thoughtful.

We did not have a pull-through site that I reserved. The office staff said they were having that problem with online reservations. So beware if you are making reservations on the internet rather than a phone call.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Our pull thru sites sell out early. Advance reservations are recommended. We do not move campers to different types of sites.

Seems to be a well maintained and managed with just one exception; water pressure. Throughout our 6 day stay, we had water pressure problems. I will try them again in the future once I'm assured that problem has been addressed.

This is a nice campsite, we come here often.

Wifi speed was ok. No a/c in the office for the staff and customers. Showers/bathhouses were clean but quite outdated. Pool was clean.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

There is an a/c in the office, it just has trouble keeping up with mid nineties temps when 7 refrigerators are running.

Just a over night. Friendly and clean

Okay, this is a hard review. Our stay at the Stony Ridge Toledo KOA was the maiden voyage for our newly purchased travel trailer. So, take my words with a grain of salt since I am admittedly new to the camping lifestyle and do not know what the norms are of good vs. bad. I don't want to be unfair or disparage, but what I say is the simple truth of our experience. To nutshell the campground: sha

Good place to get off the road for the night.

I was taught that if I had nothing nice to say, I should say nothing, but this was beyond awful. Let's just say there was a plumbing malfunction, but even once it was fixed, not only did the staff not clean up, but they didn't even flush a single toilet. Awful! Awful!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We ask customers to let us know if they find a problem of any kind. Then we fix them.

Quiet, rural atmosphere. Friendly staff & campers (long-term and over-nighters). Perfect location for wife & I: many attractions close, family in Oregon, near Perrysburg for any shopping needed, and out-of-state family were able to bring their RV for our near month stay. Perfect vacation for us!! Eats: perch-Joe's, Curtice & Tackle Box 2, Fremont; pizza-Vito's, Oregon; Mexican-Ernesto's, Genoa

Excellent service, excellent site. Will be staying there again soon

We do work for money, but good comments help too. Thanks

Older campground, but it's kept in good shape.

Stayed here before. You can see continued improvements.

Nice, but dry. Short on rainfall.
Aug 03, 2016
Though the staff was friendly. I did not like the fact that we had to share the outlet box and water hook with outer campers. The grounds were poorly kept, and the pool looked dirty. We will not stay there again. Sorry!
Aug 03, 2016
We were there to attend a convention in Toledo, so our time in the campground was in the evening and overnight. Very quiet for resting and enjoying private outdoor time.

We loved it, had to leave early because of an emergency, they were very understanding, Plan on going there again as soon as we are able. The place was a great place to stay.

The woman at registration/store was incredibly friendly and helpful. Thank you!

The pool had a smell, you couldn't see from your waist down, too cloudy. The office/store was hot, no a/c. The shower house was clean, campground quite and workers were very pleasant.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The pool was being treated for an algae infestation. It could not be helped. Sorry.

30 amp breaker kept tripping on site 601

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

This could have been fixed easily if reported to us.

great for a one night stay
Aug 02, 2016
Nice site, camp store is sufficient, showers could be cleaner but acceptable. Easy access from the Ohio Turnpike.
Aug 02, 2016
The owner was so friendly - and the staff were awesome. Located one hour from Cedar Point, and just a little more than an hour from the Henry Ford museum. Perfect! We'll be back.
Aug 02, 2016
This KOA is very run-down and needs some major upkeep.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

This is an older campground and we continue to work on it.
Aug 02, 2016
We were just passing through and made our on line reservation about 1 hr in advance. Owner did allow us to change site when our 32'MH with 12' trailer did not fit in the 1st site.
Aug 02, 2016
Bathrooms leave a lot to be desired in terms of cleanliness, otherwise good.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

It is an old building, but we keep it as clean as we can.

Good. Improved over last visit.
