Needs a little work on the grounds and roads.

Nice People.
Apr 27, 2014
only one of the shower heads in the mens shower worked.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

All showerheads are replaced on a rotating basis to prevent this problem.

They have been improving the sites. We'll stay again.

Not worth the price charged
Apr 23, 2014
We stay there on our way home as it is the last park before we cross the border but we find it more expensive than any of the other parks we stay at.

Nice older park could use a grading on the gravel roads. Staff friendly.
Apr 19, 2014
I wondered why this KOA was the most expensive of all 6 I stayed at ( from Kentucky to Georgia and back ) - even though it's mid April and there is not a lot happening - ie pool, playarea, Dog run.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

This camper stayed in one of our deluxe sites. We do have less costly sites available.

It was good but muddy on some sites

Very Cold but the campground and staff great, Thanks

Nice place with friendly service. The showers need a little work but that could be because it's early season.

Bill & Carolyn went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable despite the nasty winter weather

End of Mar after tough winter & rain: no road signs to find the place; campground roads & sites muddy (need gravel); men's washroom in poor shape (2 toilets not working, no water pressure, ants). Good news .. it was open & closest to Can/US border crossing.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Our early season customers have told us we cannot prepare adequately for a March 15 opening. Starting in 2015 we will open on April 1 each year. "Winter camping" (parking and power, no water or bathhouse) will be available thru March 31.

We appreciated the fact that this northern climate campground was open as early as March but we found that the shower block was not adequately heated and on the second morning of our stay it had no hot water!

We were at this KOA on Mar.22/12 and left it with mud covered tires on the truck and trailer. We thought we would try it again on Mar.24/14 and had the same result. At this point in time, we do not plan on going back. The bathrooms were cold. The power and store were fine.

Box for cable was mounted on the power pedestal and made it difficult to keep power cord in position. Very poor design. Otherwise, could get a higher rating with a few improvements such as roads.

Pleasant greeting , close to local businesses in Perrysburg, and new wifi system works great! Thank you :)

We had a nice time. Very friendly staff.

Camping was ok but not for a 45' motorhome to tight.
Oct 23, 2013
Loved the campground, and loved the staff even more! Will definitely return next season!

Here's my rating that will go in RVparkrevues.com: Nice rustic setting a little off the beaten path. Really quiet. No trains planes or HOV lanes. It's only about 10 miles from downtown Toledo in case you ever have a reason to go there.

Except for your elite sites your other pull thru sites were limited in sat use and length to accomodate a 45' MH pulling a car.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We do have water and electric pull thrus for a big rig. They have very good satellite access. Something must not have been communicated properly, we are sorry.

Very bad interior roads.A totally indiferent check in person who was bored.Laundry room dirty and a broken machine was not tagged. This RV park should be closed.

Everything we were looking for! Smaller, quieter, more of a family feel with the great friendliness of Bill and Carolyn. This is our second year here as our "clean her out and get ready for winterization" weekend. Love, love it!
Oct 15, 2013
This is a nice little KOA in the middle of what would typically only be city or farms. So they have the corner on location. It is small enough to feel at home over the weekend. Great hosts! Halloweekends are the best!
Oct 15, 2013
Great stay! Clean cabins and bathrooms. Will definitely stay at this KOA again in the future. Thanks!

This is a great little KOA. The staff was warm and welcoming. The KOA however, is not the best for kids. The playground was very small and rundown. The bikes were beatup. There was not much for my daughter to do. This is a great place for adults with older kids.
