Traveling with a dog made this particular KOA a no brainer choice! While the Kamp K9 area is small the surrounding trails on the property more than made up for it. The fall colours were beautiful, the washrooms clean and the staff friendly and very accommodating. The sites were very nice and the tent sites were beautiful. One of the best KOA campgrounds we have stayed at!

We were greeted at the door. The owners are very professional and friendly. All the facilities and camping sites were extremely clean. Definitely will stay there again when we are in the area!

We had an amazing stay! We were in the upper tent sites. There were some unruly campers who were pretty loud into the wee hours that kept us up which was unfortunate. But the campsite was amazing, staff weee incredible! An overall great stay!

The Thunder Bay KOA staff is friendly and efficient and the amenities are great. Lots of activities for the family and the facilities are very clean. The equipment that is supplied around the campground (kitchen and laundry for example) is well thought out to be convenient and complete.

Easy to book, we were a little late getting to the campground (bit after 9) but staff was still around and made sure we were looked after. Also love their bathrooms. Happy with our stay

We have camped at several KOA campgrounds over the years and this one is spectacular. Everything was clean and friendly. Extremely well run.

We are Americans and crossed the border to do some sightseeing. We have stayed at numerous camp sites over the last several years. While we were staying at our tent site, my husband witnessed the staff of Thunder Bay KOA cleaning one of their cabins and he stated they were really cleaning them well. The staff was helpful to us with questions as were other campers. We would recommend this place!

Not able to reserve Kamping Kabin for one night only. Told no one available to clean them. Poor excuse. I saw hundreds of homeless people living in tents in downtown Thunder Bay. No problem reserving a Kabin in Sault Ste. Marie for one night.

Loud campers next to us our first night, which affected our stay overall. No effective way to bring up issues to security. I ended up falling asleep at 2:30. Pools are nice but capacity was stretched & warm salt water is an odd choice for the middle of the summer. Seasonal campers sit at their sites & get day drunk while their kids run around in droves and misbehave. Trowbridge for me this summer

Overall the campground/site was what we needed. However, the noise level from other campers until 2am was out of hand- children yelling and screaming, followed by adults yelling until 2 in the morning definitely was not ideal.

It was a lovely well maintained campground, ~$60 per night is a little steep for sleeping on a patch of dirt with no power though.

Made a reservation for the night knowing we will be arriving after midnight during our road trip. Was easy to navigate our site. Very thoughtful and friendly staff! Thanks again

We stayed for the first time on September long weekend. There was a Halloween event and we got confused with what days the festivities were happening. My kids were disappointed to learn they wouldn’t be able to participate. The manager was so kind and helpful. She drove over to our site to offer us another complimentary night. Such great customer service. We are so excited to come back!

My husband and I visited mid October. We have never been to a KOA before this but our expectations for a private campsite was exceeded. There weren't many tent campers around which made it private for us. Their washroom facilities were SUPER CLEAN which is amazing for camping. They also had a camp kitchen which was nearby and that made it so easy for cleaning up after dinner. I would definitely stay here again.
