We got there at 3 minutes after 9 pm, and the owner was still there eight two of her employees helping get everyone checked in. The place is really nice and I like they even play country music in the bathroom. Nice showers . Thank you!

Great stay showers and rest rooms were over the top excellent. The grounds in general were a little rough and unkempt.

It was easy to reserve online. Check in was great, with Christie. She made us feel right at home. Our sight was good...nice & level & had lots of grass. We would certainly stay @ KOA Thunder Bay again !!

The facilities were very clean and in good condition, the staff was very friendly and efficient. We stayed in a tent on our first stay and in one of the simple cabins on the way back. Both experiences were great. The cabins were clean and had AC and a small fridge, good lighting, water tap at the porch, a barbecue and table in the front. Tent site was nice, grassy and treed.

Such a great time at the KOA. It's a great spot for families considering the amazing pool area and the ongoing weekend activities such as the foam party and hay rides. We'd like to see the Wi-Fi improved as it's extremely spotty and very slow. The entrance to the park and the road in need some T.L.C. as first impressions are everything. Thanks to the staff for a great time.

Very nice park people friendly, the only down side we found was their fire wood system. You pay top price for the bag you fill it and they cut the wood longer than the bag is wide. Would give 5stars except for the woid

Love the cabin and the facilities they were kept very clean and the staff was very nice and friendly and my favorite was the salt water pool. PS. A dish tray would be very nice for when you wash dishes.

The place had all the amenities of a KOA as per usual. The place needed some attention and tlc. Paint will go along way. The road into the campground needs to be replaced and the sign needs attention. The dog park pool was an excellent touch and our dogs appreciated it very much.

Very expensive for activities to stay, guests shouldn’t have to pay so much to visit and it should be a fee per car not per guest. Was quite disappointed with prices at the campground, was looking forward to doing things however, after the group had to pay 50$ worth of visiting fees, no one was interesting in paying additional money toward participating in onsite activities. The campground was nice and clean, well kept, the price was good. Very nice lady to talk to on the phone. The only problem was the noise from the highway, very loud. Other then that I would highly recommend this campground. Judy M

There was a Spruce tree on our site which we were unable to avoid when pulling in with our vehicle. It scratched the side of our truck, impeded the drivers exit and was full of wasps. We mentioned this to the ground’s person, they seemed unconcerned. “Nature” was their reply. KOA, in our opinion, is not offering a “Nature” experience.

everthing was good. My suggestion is for the comfort station up the hill. I was not sure which side of the building was for female or males. there was no sign on the outside to tell us which. it wasnt until we opened the door did we see the difference. perhaps a sign on the OUTSIDE would be appropriate signifying unisex

This was the best campground that we have ever stayed in. There are two warm swimming pools, fenced dog park, mini golf and driving range, to name a few. Love it!

I rented KL2 previously it was a beautiful deluxe cabin This time I had KL1 it was not as nice but was considered a deluxe cabin It was missing amenities a couch to watch TV as the bed was in the living quarters which made it very uncomfortable as it pertained to a 70 year old to watch TV comfortably Saying that the owners are fantastic people

We have never been before but had heard many great things from people who have been. Our stay was great. The staff were friendly. The cabin we stayed in was very clean and comfortable. The pool was the highlight for our kids. The restroom and showers were also very clean. We will be back.

Overnighted ina tent site in our car as no rooms available in Thunder Bay. Nicecleanwasrooms were appreciated also quiet spot although campground was very full

Grounds were lovely, washrooms were clean and the showers were great. Awesome pool area which we greatly enjoyed. I would've preferred to be a little closer to the washrooms though

The Thunder Bay KOA is a great place for families to stay. There are many activities for all ages of children. The staff is quite helpful and very accommodating to meet your requirements. Sites are clean and very well maintained. Highly recommend it as a stop over or long term place to stay in the summer!

My husband and I visited mid October. We have never been to a KOA before this but our expectations for a private campsite was exceeded. There weren't many tent campers around which made it private for us. Their washroom facilities were SUPER CLEAN which is amazing for camping. They also had a camp kitchen which was nearby and that made it so easy for cleaning up after dinner. I would definitely stay here again.
