Friendly, helpful staff and a clean, quiet environment. Level Concrete pad made getting in and setting up super easy. Highly recommend.

Stayed on 2nd Aug by myself then with wife and mother-in-law on 8th Aug. All facilities were clean and well taken care of. Will definitely stay here again.

I was kind of surprised this campground met the requirements for a KOA. The lot we had was level, which was nice. The sites, overall, didn't seem too well maintained. General area maintenance was good and there had been some effort put into landscaping. We didn't use the pool but it looked well maintained. Situated between the Interstate and train tracks so could be a problem for light sleepers.

This is a great place to stay whether just overnight or an extended stay. Terry was an excellent host and contacted us ahead of our arrival with our space number so we could drive right to our pad! I highly recommend staying here when in the Texarkana area!!

We've stayed here several times before. It is a great place. We were delayed by a nasty wreck getting there & had very little trouble finding our spot & hooking up even though it was after dark.

All facilities were very clean and well maintained. Customer service was outstanding. Manager changed my reservation from tent site to cabin because of the heat. True it is located close to the highway but so were 90% of the KOAs I've stayed at. I would both stay here again and recommend to family and friends.

The park itself is okay. Check in went well and the site was nice. We understood the pool closed at 9 but were told to be out of the pool by 8. The shower I used was not very clean. Bottom of shower curtain dirty and a big hair ball in the drain.

Our stay was just fine. I do wish that there was some sort of markings to let others know that a site is rented for late arrivals. A guest had bad etiquette and parked their truck in our space. The electric was only turned on for the space we were supposed to be in so, we had to knock at midnight and get them to move.

So easy to check in. I relaxed at the pool and met some neighbors . The camp host were helpful and friendly. I will stay there again and would recommend this place to everyone.

Parked next to a full timer with tents all over, antiquated, dog poop all over our lot. Recommended for a quick over night only.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

This site is at the extended stay area. It is the only pull thru site in the area. The site is away from the main overnight area on the access road of the Interstate, and assigned to campers that desire a quieter site. A fifth wheel with a cloth gazebo has dogs any poop would be on that site.

Easy access from highway, but also a bit loud with highway noise - giving 3 stars as it’s what I expected from a journey right off the frontage road. Clean park, friendly staff - gave me a call to check me in while enroute so I didn’t have to worry upon arrival.

Checked us in for late but didn’t leave package with map. Fortunately we found map online. Site was so uneven our jacks would not level us. Site numbers were very hard to see in dark. Sites are poorly maintained. Garbage had not been picked up and cans overflowing. It’s cheap and ok for overnight but not for any longer. And power failure the night we were there ( not fault of campground).

Recommend as a utility overnight pit stop only. Grounds in rough shape. Lots of interstate traffic noise. VERY small pool that we had to share with a pushy woman conducting swim lessons for children. Bathrooms didn’t function well. Overall not a very pleasant experience.

We had a short overnight stay.. We arrived very late (12:30AM). Park had called with site number and instructions earlier in the day. Easy on off Hwy and on to pull through site. We had a quiet night, early morning shower at the bath house, and were back on the road before 9:00AM. Just what we needed....

Sites are very much out of level, be prepared. Bathrooms and showers are very clean. Check in was super easy via voice and emails.

Just a quick overnight in one of the pull thrus A16. They put is in a great site bks we are 40’. I was looking for the dumpster I ran into one of the workers. She was sweet and offered to take my bag to the dumpster bks it was far. She explained I could use the cans near the sites too. Only negative was the dip as we turn onto the main exit. Jacks rubbed the ground a bit. Overall great experienc

It is easy access from interstate. Staff is friendly. We have a 42ft Motorhome & Towing the site was large enough but was not exactly big rig friendly getting in or out of

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

This site is 88' long and features a huge entrance turning radius that is all asphalt ample room to exit the site and a turn radius at the end of the service road which many many 45' motorhomes with a tow have negotiated. I encourage big rigs to try this site, I think you will have no problem.

Was not happy with our stay, they told us they were putting us in a longer slot because we were towing a jeep. They also said they were full for the night. Well they put us in one of the shorter slots, that had mud all around the pad, which barley fit our Class C motor home. There were at least 10 slots next to us that were open and stayed open all night without mud. Won't ever stay there!!!

Added a request in my reservation asking for a shaded site (B-class van). Terry called me the morning of my arrival to make sure she knew exactly what I needed. Ten years as a KOA member and FIRST-time - EVER - someone called to make sure I had a great stay. I arrived in the middle of a huge storm with high winds. Terry moved me to a high-ground site. Thank you Terry for caring about my stay.

I specifically choose KOA whenever possible because i usually know what to count on. This location is a little old and could use some spiffing up, but I would probably stay again if it fit the time and place requirements as it did this time.

Not only was the mattress in the cabin about 1,000x better than any of those slabs of solid rock they try to pass off as a damn mattress at most hotels, it came with sheets and pillows too! Our cabin was clean, the ladies at the front desk were nice, it was overall a great place to stay. The only downside is the location, it's right next to a feeder road so you get some road noise. It would be a bigger deal for tent campers, but trailers and those like us with cabins have a bit of insulation so it wasn't terrible.
