Very nice campground. Well kept , clean and staff were fantastic!!!! There is road noise but not their fault!! Definitely would stay there again!!!!

The street and camp sights lighting was-inadequate. I was told to enter from a certain direction whitch was correct , but I couldn’t hookup to electric only if I parked in the street.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

This site is 88 ft long, works really well for big motor homes towing, but sometimes doesn't work for fifth wheels with short electric cords that attach to the rear of the fifth wheel because pedestal is in the 1st third of site. We should have had a conversation and assigned a site that worked.

We stayed in nc14 for one night. It was a pull through with plenty of room for our motorhome and car.

Very nice park , very nosy from the Hwy. Hard to exit the park due to traffic congestion on the street and blocked view of on coming traffic.

A little noisy from the highway traffic but otherwise a very nice place. Laundry and bathrooms are very nice and the rates are good.

Was very neat clean and convenient. Only problem was the directions in our book coming from the north didn’t say you had to go thru first stop lite so we turned on State Line Road had to stop and turn around. Even our GPS had us turn right. ���‍���

the KOA directory driving directions are " From Little Rock: I-30 Exit 223, drive west through stoplight, turn right into KOA entrance. Perhaps another directory doesn't contain this text.

We enjoyed our time at this KOA. The park is very nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Sad little run down KOA. Right off highway so a lot of road noise. Gravel, uneven sites. Good for a one night stopover. Girl in office was super friendly and nice. Did not use bathhouse or laundry so can’t rate those. Every site has a picnic table and nice swing.

Nice easy pull throughs. Bathrooms and laundry clean and neat. Lots of freeway noise but easy to get back on the route after our stay. Thanks!

La dame à l accueill super gentille. Très bon accueil avec de bonnes informations. Site très propre ainsi que les toilettes et la laverie. Le seul bemol...l autoroute, le bruit. Mais en général, très bien.

Our cabin had a huge amount of cat liter in the trash can and the room smelled like cat pee. I'm guessing who ever was there before us probably had a cat. We've stayed in that cabin before without issue, though, so it was probably just a one off

Our apology, it is obvious that staff missed cleaning this cabin before your arrival. We will do better in the future.

It must have rained before we arrived. Our site was nothing but mud. They were closed when we arrived so we were unable to request a different site. By the way there were several empty sites. They should have checked the site as it was at the bottom of the slope.

Even though the office was closed, calls are transferred to the managers cell phone and we could have moved the campers to another site. The site is all asphalt and there is grass on both sides of the pull thru but with the ground so saturated with rain, it is soft and appears muddy.

The facility was a bit run down with cracked or missing boards on the swings. The site faucets were a few inches above ground in a "face up" position difficult to get any kind of a bowl or jug underneath. Hose was not used due to cold winter temps. Water sprayed out instead a solid running water stream, which was unsuspected/unpleasant. Improper site parking of some obstructed access for others.

The staff were very helpful and accommodating. It is a KOA Journey - it is expected and understood that this is an easy just-off-the-Hwy way point to stop for some much needed rest on a longer trip. Call and follow the directions they give you to go right to your spot.

The ease of checkin was outstanding, we were prechecked- in via email and followup phone call with site info. No stopping. It was a breeze!!

Since it had been below freezing the day before water hook up was unavailable . Bottled water would have been a positive thing to offer!

This is an embarrassing excuse for a KOA. This is a mobile home park. What a joke. The KOA brand is tarnished and I will hesitate to renew my membership and stay at a KOA in the future.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Due to snow on the ground and temperature in the teens, we put this camper in the pull thru site in the long term area which borders the mobile home section of the 30 acre property. This site is preferred by quests who like quiet. We have passed every KOA inspection conducted yearly for 24 years.

Last minute travel plans called for us to have a one-night in-transit stay. KOA Texarkana was easy to reserve, provided a useful space at a reasonable rate. Wr arrived after hours and easily found our registration packet with pertinent information. Good job!

Mary was very nice and accommodating. She made sure are jeep & trailer could fit in the spot that she picked out. It did and it made it easy to get in and out. The campground & bathrooms were clean. It was a pretty cold day/night and having the bathrooms heated was appreciated especially for taking a shower. The trains can be loud, just bring ear plugs.

I specifically choose KOA whenever possible because i usually know what to count on. This location is a little old and could use some spiffing up, but I would probably stay again if it fit the time and place requirements as it did this time.

Not only was the mattress in the cabin about 1,000x better than any of those slabs of solid rock they try to pass off as a damn mattress at most hotels, it came with sheets and pillows too! Our cabin was clean, the ladies at the front desk were nice, it was overall a great place to stay. The only downside is the location, it's right next to a feeder road so you get some road noise. It would be a bigger deal for tent campers, but trailers and those like us with cabins have a bit of insulation so it wasn't terrible.
