The grounds were unkept and there was dog fecies next to our table at the site. The bathrooms were disgusting. In the last shower stall there were clothes piled up and a french press coffee maker on top of them. We tried a few days earlier to stay here but there were no envelopes with open sites as the website stated. There was about four rigs in there that night and many open sites.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We have a sign on the door directing campers to call the campground number and we register campers over the phone, give them information, we think it is better than leaving envelopes because campers talk to a park host who can advise as to the best site possible. We will correct the bathhouse

The cabin wasn't cleaned after the previous renters. It was full of dog hair and stuck so bad like stinky dog that I jad to sleep with a face mask on all night due to my asthma. I left a voice-mail as soon as we arrived and sent an email the following and 2 days later I still have not received a response nor apology. Nice park, clean and taken care of. EASY off/on interstate. Lots of hiway noise during the night. Good place for a stop over for sure!

This is a "journey" but a really nice place for a few nights or longer. The grounds are clean, some of the sites are paved, some gravel but nice sites. Trash cans are scattered and convenient. The dog park is great! The people working there are great! They will help you any way they can. I will be back!

Very nice stay. Close to everything. For travelers coming in on 65 north, avoid getting to this camp ground on 265. Stay on 65 and exit on 76 west. You will have some congestion going through town but in my opinion it is a better option then what I experienced with the narrow road, steep grades and tight turns coming in on 265 and Animal Safari . (I was driving 32ft class C , towing Jeep).

The campground was good. We checked in late and there was no envelope upon arrival. Thankfully Casey had called and emailed our site information. The only negative is the road noise.

We like this park…especially space 301. There were 2 loose dogs the morning we left & I had to call the after hrs number. The gentleman came very quickly & it was much appreciated.

Supposedly had a store. Hours were posted but it was never open. When I went to the office the men there were startled that someone would actually come into the office and were reluctant to open the store. Very strange experience

The cabin was ready for us. A/C had cooled the room and it was clean. Plenty of room. This cabin did not have a bathroom so we used the public facility. I was a little concerned the men & women bathrooms are in the same building. No way to lock door to women bathroom. Except for passcode to access the bathrooms and laundry not secure once inside. Price was very reasonable. My pet was comfortable.

The place is old, needs work, the sites are not level even though they are paved the pavement is heaving, the bath and laundry have multiple out of order signs on showers and washers

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Due to supply disruption, we ordered 2 new washing machines on April 11, and we might receive them from the 4th vendor we talked to: might receive them by the second week of July. We still have 2 washing machine that work and 4 dryers, We have 8 showers stall that work.

We made reservation on the app and got to KOA after office staff left. No paperwork assigning me a site was in front of office. I received an email with no site assignment. I do not like calling your reservation number as many times it is not current. I prefer to call local kampgrounds. Much better to deal with lical kampground.

The campground phone# is posted on the door, late arrivals if they do not know their site assignment can call and a campground host will give them their site assignment plus wifi info and bath house code.

We had a great stay! We had actually camped at this same KOA in 2002 my first Granddaughter was a baby and she is about to turn 20! We stayed in the same cabin as back then�ϋ� There were a couple of minor issues that I discussed with the office.But we love that cabin because of the memories but also that 6 of us had quality time together and the Bathroom Pool and Playgroud were right by us! Older camp ground, but the biggest thing was the vehicle noise front I-40. Like being at Indy or NASCAR. My surge protector indicated a reverse polarity wiring, on only our pad or the whole string of pads. Nice camping heighbors. Walk around the park with dog was pleasant. The drive north to Fort Smith very pleasant.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

we tested the pedestal with both a surge protector and a volt meter and found no reverse polarity. Some campers are bothered by the road noise and many others are not as we are on the frontage road of I-30. Many like the easy on and off the road of our location.

It was ok for a 1 night stay. The granddaughter got to swin for a little bit and she rode her bike around. I was surprised at the amount of actual moble homes in the park and I didn't care for the political flags.

Check in was easy. No stopping to go into the office. They called and emailed the info and we parked. It was clean and easy to get in and out and back on the freeway. We would stay again.

I specifically choose KOA whenever possible because i usually know what to count on. This location is a little old and could use some spiffing up, but I would probably stay again if it fit the time and place requirements as it did this time.

Not only was the mattress in the cabin about 1,000x better than any of those slabs of solid rock they try to pass off as a damn mattress at most hotels, it came with sheets and pillows too! Our cabin was clean, the ladies at the front desk were nice, it was overall a great place to stay. The only downside is the location, it's right next to a feeder road so you get some road noise. It would be a bigger deal for tent campers, but trailers and those like us with cabins have a bit of insulation so it wasn't terrible.
