Fal La La La Follies
Visit the Anniston Museum of Natural History on Friday, November 28th for the unwrapping of the Fa La La La Follies! It's the day after Thanksgiving, so take a break from the turkey and wall to wall shoppers to eee a whimsical and inspiring puppet show by Lee Bryan, That Puppet Guy from Atlanta, Georgia.
Lee will perform two shows, one at 11:00 am and the other at 1:00 pm. Each show will last about 45 minutes. Afterwards, attendees will have an opportunity to see an educational behind-the-scenes demonstration. Best of all, the Fa La La La Follies is free with your regular Museum admission! Seeing is limited and will be on a first-come, first-seated, basis so come early!
Jazz Combos in Concert
Directed by Dr. Andy Nevala, this musical presentation will be held at Mason Hall Performance Center on the Jacksonsville State University campus (700 Pelham Road, North in Jacksonville, AL). The event will be on Wednesday, December 3rd from 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm and has free admission.
Oxford Christmas Parade
This year's parade is scheduled for Thursday, December 4th beginning at 6 pm. The parade will proceed up Choccolocco Street to Main Street and will turn down Snow Street. The parade will end at Stewart Street and turn toward the high school. Santa will arrive at the end of the parade! For more information, call 256-310-2532.

Family Christmas Program
A family Christmas musical program will be held at the Armstrong-Osborne Public Library in Talladega on Thursday, December 4th at 5:30 pm. The event is free and is for both adults and children. The library is located at 202 South Street, East.

2014 Anniston City Christmas Parade
This year's parade is themed "All I Want for Christmas ..." and is scheduled for Monday, December 8th beginning at 6:30 pm on Noble Street from 15th Street to 9th Street in downtown Anniston. 115 entries are scheduled, including floats, balloons, bands and, of course, Santa! Cheaha Challenge 2015
Scheduled for May 17, 2015, the Cheaha Challenge is a 100 mile bike ride from northern Calhoun County to Mount Cheaha (the highest point in Alabama). The ride will also include a 24 mile extension to challenge experienced riders along with a 24 mile milder ride on the Chief Ladiga Trail.
