Six Flags over Georgia
Conveniently located west of Atlanta, SIx Flags over Georgia is the Atlanta area's biggest, most popular family attraction featuring dozens of thrill rides, shows, and activities. The park is open seasonally during the spring and summer months and operates on limited days and hours during the fall and winter months. Chief Ladiga Bike Trail
The Chief Ladiga Trail is a "must experience" for bicycle riders. It is a paved recreational trail on the bed of the former Seaboard/CSX Railroad extending from the Georgia state line to Weaver, AL. There is an additional 63 miles in Georgia, making the Ladiga Trail the longest continuous paved rail trail in the United States. One of the many wonderful things about the trail is that is friendly to all levels of cyclists, walkers, runners and skaters. There are no noticeable hills on the trail since it was once a rail bed. It has lot of nature and wonderful scenery, so be sure to take a camera with you as well.

Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum
Located about 45 minutes west of the campground, the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum is dedicated to the presentation, interpretation, exhibition and history of motorcycles, vintage vehicles and motorsports. In addition to housing the world's best motorcycle collection, the museum has over 1200 vintage and modern motorcycles and racecars as well as the largest collection of Lotus cars and other significant makes. The collection is the largest of its kind in the world!The Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum is located at the 830 acre Barber Motorsports Park that includes a world class 2.38 mile racetrack.

Anniston Museum League's Winter Market Weekend Returns!
Just in time for the Christmas shopping season, the Winter Market Weekend invitational art fair returns to the Anniston Museum of Natural History on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, November 7 - 9. This is a public event featuring two dozen artisans and craftspeople showing and offering their works for sale. It's three days of arts, jewelry, crafts and sculpture and its free to browse!

Fal La La La Follies
Visit the Anniston Museum of Natural History on Friday, November 28th for the unwrapping of the Fa La La La Follies! It's the day after Thanksgiving, so take a break from the turkey and wall to wall shoppers to eee a whimsical and inspiring puppet show by Lee Bryan, That Puppet Guy from Atlanta, Georgia.
Lee will perform two shows, one at 11:00 am and the other at 1:00 pm. Each show will last about 45 minutes. Afterwards, attendees will have an opportunity to see an educational behind-the-scenes demonstration. Best of all, the Fa La La La Follies is free with your regular Museum admission! Seeing is limited and will be on a first-come, first-seated, basis so come early!
