Cycling enthusiasts will enjoy the two renowned bike trails that are just a short drive from our campground!

  • Coldwater Mountain Bike Trail - With its location within sight of downtown Anniston, Coldwater is a retreat into 4,000 acres of Alabama's Forever Wild Land Trust property, featuring 26 miles of trails, 11 more under construction and a total of 70 planned! The creek runs along the trail and can often be heard. While this is one of the top destination mountain bike trail systems in the US, runners and hikers are also welcome, though they should take the courses backwards so as to be aware of oncoming cyclists.

  • Chief Ladiga Trail - This "must experience" paved recreational trail currently runs 32.5 miles from the Alabama/Georgia line into Weaver with an extension planned into Anniston. Ladiga follows the former Seaboard/CSX Railroad, connecting to Georgia's 63 mile Silver Comet Trail.
