General Campground Information

Check-in & Check-out times

Our check-in time for RV sites is 1 PM and for accommodations is 3PM.  Check-out is 11 AM. Late check-out may be available at extra cost depending on availability.

RV sites no tents

No mats or tents designed for sleeping are allowed on the RV sites unless indicated by the site description. Kitchen tents are permitted on all sites.

Fire Wood

We sell fire wood at the Sturgeon Falls KOA. We do not allow wood to be brought in because of movement of dangerous insect pests that can destroy a forest. The ban applies to all firewood from any location. For example southern Ontario trees are being attacked by the Asian Long Horned Beetle and the Emerald Ash Borer. These restrictions are based on Provincial and Federal laws intended to combat the threat. DO NOT BRING FIRE WOOD FROM HOME.

Quiet Hours

Quiet Hours are between 11PM and 7AM.  Excessive noise isn't allowed at any time.

Pontoon Boat River Tours

We offer river tours during the summer months. Tours are scheduled during the weekends and on demand during the week if there are enough people taking the tour. The cost is a minimum donation of $10.00 per person - a minimum of 6 people. If you want a tour with just your family and friends or you only have 2 or 3 people, no problem, the cost is a $60.00 donation, and you have your own private tour. All proceeds from these tours go to KOA Care Camps for kids.

Our mission is to allow these amazing children to enjoy the joy, healing, and freedom that comes from attending these specialized, medically supervised summer camps for kids with cancer, where they can just be themselves. Surrounded by other kids just like them, they swim, go on hikes, sing songs, and create memories that help get them through the tough times. They heal physically and emotionally and hope flourishes.

Meet Your Hosts

The Demers Family

Real freedom lies in camping. Stay with us and enjoy the freedom!

We have worked towards building a safe, relaxing and fun atmosphere for all our guests.  As we celebrated our 13 year anniversary in 2024, we are happy to announce that our son, Jesse, and his wonderful wife, Stephanie, are on track to become partners with Greg and Gina in 2023.  Greg and Gina purchased the campground in 2011 and opened in 2012 as a KOA.  Now it's time for the next generation to start taking it over.  Be sure to say "hi" to all of us when you're here next time on your vacation.
We hope you enjoy our campground as much as we enjoy having you!

We look forward to meeting you all and hope that you and the family will stop by and check out our campground.
