We have the most modern vacation rentals on the Delta, RV campground sites, beautiful grassy tent sites and boat rentals
The numerous cabins, vacation rentals and full hookup, shaded sites compliment 400 open and covered boat slips that give Delta boaters access to the meandering byways of the California Delta. With our specialty accommodation vacation rental lodges, you may not even feel like you're roughing it.
Located on the central California coast only minutes from Lodi and Stockton, it's a great place for a family reunion or any group gathering. Meet Your Hosts
Scott Haar, manager of Stockton Delta KOA Kampground, loves connecting to people. He did so as the manager of a restaurant at the Lake Las Vegas Resort, and in the 10 years he spent in the food and beverage industry.
Now, Scott has traded in the hectic restaurant world for the campground life. "I was ready to settle down and have a family of my own. I thought managing campgrounds would allow me to be in a family-friendly environment and give me the time to grow a family."
Scott is generous with his praise of his employees. "I am always proud of my staff. They are the individuals who are on the front line of the business and create the first impressions for our guests. All of the positive feedback that I get can always be directly attributed to my staff."
"My staff and I know that if we provide good service, our guests will be satisfied and might give us a referral and return to camp with us again. If we exceed our guests' expectations, we build relationships with those customers, and we have ambassadors for life," says Scott, of his business philosophy.
Scott tells of a very special time that illustrates the relationships he's built with campers. "I will never forget a couple that came up to the front desk with a bottle of wine for me because they had heard it was my birthday. They invited me to their campsite for a wine tasting, and I thought to repay them I would bring my guitar. It was a great night and I entertained the entire campsite for hours. It was one of the most enjoyable nights of my life!"
Scott's hobbies extend to music, playing guitar, golf and his love of animals. "I have a Bassett Hound and a Chihuahua and they are a Handful!"
