Steamboat KOA is our go to stay while visiting "The Boat". Staff is first class and location to town and slopes is so convenient.

Nice friendly phone conversation and excellent instructions were left to find our space. Due to melting snow, it was very muddy everywhere. The access to town using the bus was great, although we did not use it.

I will definitely be coming back. What a great facility! The staff were all super affable and I felt very much at home. I'd live here for months at a time, if I could :)

We had a good stay,but the price is really high. When your spot is to short to fit your truck and in the winter with muddy conditions just to high priced. The employees were very nice.

I know it's a big ask considering your location is in a snowy ski town, but if you're going to charge $15 for a dog, and $36 or our 3 kids, please shovel the features you're charging us to use, or simply don't charge that fee in the winter. Actually, it isn't a big ask. Businesses keep their spaces shoveled. We would have loved to use the playground and dog park.

We had the absolute BEST visit in Steamboat! This campground is a huge reason for our great stay. Hot showers, always clean bathrooms first stop on the free bus to the mountain, and super friendly and helpful folks working. We will be back next year! We tell EVERYONE about Steamboat KOA!

Quiet, out of the hustle and bustle of town. Sites fairly spread out. Bathrooms are warm and have multiple stalls and showers. Located on steamboat bus route so super easy to access downtown or ski mountain without having to drive. We had a family member visit for a few nights and he stayed in one of the camping cabins. Very convenient.

The shuttle bus into town is a great perk and being right on the creek was beautiful. The other amenities are pretty basic. Was disappointed that the dump station was snowed in and not cleared for patrons.

The staff was friendly and helpful. I liked having the outside sink to wash dishes with hot water. The bathrooms were clean and the hot showers were great! We were able to take the free city bus to the resort. It was a nice campground.

The amenities were really nice, the showers/bathroom stayed clean and warm. The parking spot left a little to be desired as when I arrived it was a giant slush pit which is expected during this time of year but was still complicated getting in after dark.

I made a reservation call in October 2023,to Steamboat, it rolled over to computer or you main office How ever, I was specific about what I wanted in lot location and hook ups When I arrived on 3/1 I was placed way away from bus stop, had full hook up, only asked for elec and the dump station was closed We are skiers, use the Steamboat bus service to get to ski area I was told they did the

We love staying with you in the Winter. Campground is kept plowed, bathrooms are clean, staff is incredibly helpful if you need anything. Catching the bus is so easy. It really makes for an easy winter camping spot!

What a great place! I’m normally someone who parks my van off road at a trailhead. But for a three day ski trip in a town with strict no overnight camoubg rules, plus a prediction of heavy snow, I wanted something more reliable. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. The facilities were extremely clean. Highly recommend!

It was a cold and snowy night, and once we found our campsite we had a lovely evening. This place is a great find and close to downtown Steamboat.

Expensive for a winter site with no additional facilities aside from shower block and electrical. Bus aids in convenience but located on the far edge of town. Pull through sites positioned next to road which means road traffic was constant and site had zero privacy. Bathrooms repainted every other day yet showerheads and other bathroom cleaning and maintenance neglected. Staff were all pleasant.

Great service right from the start. Kaytee at the front desk and on the phone addressed all of our needs before and after our arrival with a great attitude. The site team got us to our spot and make sure we knew how to use all the hookups which worked beautifully. The bathrooms were clean and warm. We could not have asked from better support. A better price, maybe. But not a better facility.

Definitely THE best KOA I have ever stayed at for its view and ambiance. Very quiet at night even with highway nearby (thankfully there are no loud bikers during the winter). The bathrooms were kept clean, although a bit far away from my camp spot. My neighbors were very respectful and friendly. The staff was very helpful.

The Steamboat KOA was wonderful, and we will definitely stay here again. Staff was welcoming and friendly, bathrooms and shower area were clean and heated, quiet hours were observed, there is a small dog park (could be larger, and was a bit snowed in, but worked fine) and plenty of space to walk dogs on leash, and there is a bus stop to town with convenient bus schedule. Great place to stay!

Late arrival procedure was easy and convenient. Despite the massive amount of snow in town, every site was cleared and accessible. This had all the amenities needed for a quick trip through Steamboat.

We just needed a place to park legally for two overnights in Steamboat Springs. We didn't arrive until late and had to leave early both nights. It would be cool if some non-electrical/hookup spots were available in the winter. But the little bit of the facility we saw was nice and appreciated that it was plowed out well.

Bathrooms shower stalls are small, and could use some more frequent cleaning the overflow floor drain was clogged. Sinks and toilets were very clean. Back in site was plowed, after 40 in of snow. Had to dig out door entrances, but all in all great spot. Hosts were friendly and helpful on the bus schedule. Would like to fish the spot.

Was a great long weekend stay over a winter holiday. KOA did a great job of snow removal during the blizzard! Check in was easy. Bathrooms were clean. Was a great stay.

We originally booked for two nights and ended up staying a week. They do a fantastic job plowing and have a very clean campsite. Kind and helpful staff. Beautiful views and located conveniently to town. We hope to be back during summer.

The stay itself was fine, but the outrageous price increase over the past year makes staying at the KOA not worth it. In March of 2023, I booked a electric only truck camper spot for $50/night. Now (Dec 2023) that same stay is $75/night. In the winter, the cheaper price was the only reason we would stay here. With the nearby budget hotels being $85/night, the KOA is not worth it.

Our reservation, incoming communication, and welcome upon arrival was excellent. Our back-in riverside campsite was perfect. We also would like to recognize the maintenance team and the cleaning team in the shower building for their attention to customer service and a pleasant stay. Every single thing from the campsite to the amenities was in place and as it should be.

Beautiful campground with lots of amenities. My son had a camping spot and I had a deluxe cabin-both were awesome. The cabin was cleaned and well-maintained, with kitchen supplies, toilet paper and soap. Staff were great, contacting us to give details for late check-in. Store next to office is great!

Great option to stay in town in the winter. We travel in our Sprinter 144 and there are not a lot of options for stealth camping in the winter. On one of our nights the temp dropped dramatically and well below the forecast. Woke up with a nearly dead battery and some diesel that was gelled. The staff supplied me with a trickle charger and a propane heater to point towards the undercarriage. Got the engine running in now time. The guys there helped me out big time.
