Falsely accused of smoking in the cabin, which they are very explicit about not being allowed. My wife and I brought our own linens and sleeping bags (per the rules) and management called 20 minutes after checkout saying that my wife and I smoked in the cabin and left a burn home in this old over-the-bed sheet, which was under all of our linens/blankets/sleeping bags. Will never recommend

I was impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. It snowed many inches while we were camping but the staff kept up with the plowing. Always clean facilities as well.

Cabin was perfect for our needs. The only issue we had was “full kitchen” does not include an oven. Was expecting one, figured it would be small but wasn’t expecting no oven. We made do since we did have a grill.

Cabin was very cold and took about 24 hours for the heater to warm it up.

We had a good stay. The only part I did not like was that the staff seemed pushy for us to check out both mornings. They called me the first morning making sure we would be gone on time or able to switch cabins. The second morning, they drove by at 10 AM to look in the window to see if we had left yet. check out was at 11. When we did leave at 11, it only took them 8 minutes to clean the cabin.

Our site was way too expensive, $100 per nite for a 21 ft travel trailer just becuz we wanted water in October!!

Wonderful amenities and the people at the front desk were so kind and helpful! This was my first time staying at a KOA, and I didn't think to bring pillows when the website listed bed linens, but the transit bus brings you straight into town! Couldn't recommend more.

I was told I would get a refund if I called at least 2 days prior to checkin.. I called 3 days prior to check in and they told me they were keeping the full amount and issuing no refund becaue their policy is that they need a 7 day notice. Pretty sure they train their customer service reps to lie to customers so they don't have to issue refunds. Terrible experience. I would never recommend a KOA.

The front desk was friendly and courteous upon arrival. The low rating is because of the no refund policy. We checked in a day earlier than scheduled. We tried to check out a day early to avoid the snow storm however we were refused a refund. When asked for credit we were refused again. Sorry. I don’t plan to stay there in the future.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Grounds are well kept. The only 2 negatives are: ---office closes too early (5pm) and often someone needs items from store. And no nearby quickie store. --the communal dishwashing area is often filthy! It is left with junk in drain, yuck in sink. I suggest a nice sign that reminds people that it is a shared space and to leave it clean. Otherwise all good!

Wonderful people. Exceptional campground. The Steamboat Transit stop is awesome. My only complaint is the US 40 road noise.

Cabin was super clean and cozy and all staff were very friendly - my kids LOVED the entire weekend and we will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay! We arrived after the office closed and they called us to let us know where the welcome packet was. We even had an issue with a gross coffee pot in our cabin and they were so nice about it. The staff is always so friendly! We have stayed before and will absolutely stay again!

I enjoyed the location and the grounds as well. I felt the restrooms were not cleaned often enough. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Lastly, the coffee in the Kamp store in the morning was so watered down, it was not to be considered coffee.

Hosts were super nice! We had to make changes & they were very helpful! Good location close to town. We booked a patio/end site in the newer section. The older Rv sites on the river will be our choice next visit!

Overall it was a great location but during the booking of the site I was asking for spots close to the river and away from the main road: the spot they placed me in was next to the main road and even though it was a easy to navigate pull through site with full hookups we would have like to have known about the sites across the river. Site map on the web site would have helped with this.

The Steamboat Springs KOA is very good and very expensive. Don't let them park you next to the electrical switch gear a motion sensor light comes on and is a problem while on the patio. Fuel up, buy groceries and anything else you need before arriving. Steamboat Springs is very expensive it's like being in California.

We enjoyed our stay at the Steamboat KOA. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The grounds were very clean and well maintained. The office and restrooms were extremely clean. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!!

The Cabin heater was not working properly so it was very cold in the night. We reported it and workers came but did not fix the problem. The team was not flexible when we wanted to change our reservation.

Beautiful campground with lots of amenities. My son had a camping spot and I had a deluxe cabin-both were awesome. The cabin was cleaned and well-maintained, with kitchen supplies, toilet paper and soap. Staff were great, contacting us to give details for late check-in. Store next to office is great!

Great option to stay in town in the winter. We travel in our Sprinter 144 and there are not a lot of options for stealth camping in the winter. On one of our nights the temp dropped dramatically and well below the forecast. Woke up with a nearly dead battery and some diesel that was gelled. The staff supplied me with a trickle charger and a propane heater to point towards the undercarriage. Got the engine running in now time. The guys there helped me out big time.
