We found this on the way back from Yellowstone two years ago and drive up from Estes Park now for a terrific stay on the river!! Great town with plenty of great food!! Awesome moose and bear sightings too So awesome !

After a confusing start, the stay was great. We had a large group in RV sites and cabins, and there was some confusion on a few of the reservations. All issues were resolved, and the rest of the stay went well. The staff members were all very nice and helpful. Our group had a great reunion.

Everything was pretty good except the $25 early check in fee I thought was pretty lame. Great facilities, beautiful location. I did get the side of my car scratched up by someone either moving in or out but that's not on you guys. Maybe widen the parking spaces?

Staff was super friendly and helpful! The site we stayed in (76 I believe) had tons of shade and the grounds are very clean and well kept.

Nice campground but after driving 8 hours from Wyoming we got to the campground 15 minutes before 2pm check in and got charged an additional $25 for “early” check in. Customer service was not great.

Stayed in tent next to water. Kids loved swimming in the pool playing mini golf and chess. However the bikes were their favorite. So much to do at camp we didn’t even need to leave.

Need more storage space in the bedroom. FYI, TP holder fell off the wall. We enjoyed our stay. Made reservations for 2024.

Third year at Steamboat Springs KOA. We had requested a specific spot (#72) as it is in the shady area of the park. The staff was very friendly and our escort assisted in lining our Airstream up when parking. The whole park was neat and free of litter. Amenities were in operation and seemed to be enjoyed by children and adults alike. We will definitely stay here in the future.

Always love KOA but this one put us in a site that has a huge hole in it…really big depression. Not up to their standards for sure. Site 39. Really made our stay kind of trashy. Won’t stay there again and we go to steamboat every summer a couple of times.

I was only allowed to stay 3 days out of my 7 day booking because my dogs barked sometimes while I was at work and was told to just take them with me which wasn’t possible. Even though it wasn’t during quiet hours. If you have dogs that are even slightly vocal I wouldn’t recommend this KOA for you.

It was easy to check in and be routed to our space. The KOA Park WiFi was easy to establish and connectivity was excellent. The availability at the entrance to the KOA of the free Steamboat Springs Bus service was a huge plus.

It was great! Just an overnight stay but was by the water. So very scenic. Was comfortable with our yorkie dog. People were friendly. Showers were very clean. A bit pricey but being comfortable counts�

Very nice facility… They had pool, mini golf, playground, creek to fish… lots to do for the kids. However, they are strict about check-in time… if you’re 20 minutes early, you pay the fee for early check in. Close to a nice little town to walk through.

Very pleased our stay. The campground was very well kept up and clean. The staff and ground crew were very pleasant, helpful and courteous! The view from our campsite was breathtaking and peaceful. We will be back.

The grounds were very well kept, very clean and beautiful and everyone that worked at this campground we not only helpful but very very nice. This was our first time at a KOA campground and the experience was wonderful! We plan to make another trip back next year and will reserve our cabin at KOA

Large KOA with mostly small but well maintained sites. Wish they would enforce dog rules for everyone.

Bathroom dirty all the time dumpster filled and was placed in a huge 5 RV large camper party group that went until 1:00 AM for 2 days in the morning with loud music and very loud. 3 days of no sleep camping. Front desk was rude and the over crowding was terrible. I have been staying in KOA for 40 years this was the worst. The company is running it into the ground.

Don’t love the road noise but if you’re by the river it’s lovely. Staff is much more pleasant than in the past ! Made our stay that much better.

Stayed 3 days here and enjoyed everything about it. The staff, the facilities and the atmosphere were incredible. They even had a bus stop that allowed easy access to town. We will return for a longer stay in the future.

Beautiful campground with lots of amenities. My son had a camping spot and I had a deluxe cabin-both were awesome. The cabin was cleaned and well-maintained, with kitchen supplies, toilet paper and soap. Staff were great, contacting us to give details for late check-in. Store next to office is great!

Great option to stay in town in the winter. We travel in our Sprinter 144 and there are not a lot of options for stealth camping in the winter. On one of our nights the temp dropped dramatically and well below the forecast. Woke up with a nearly dead battery and some diesel that was gelled. The staff supplied me with a trickle charger and a propane heater to point towards the undercarriage. Got the engine running in now time. The guys there helped me out big time.
