Management was rude and not friendly. Bathrooms and dish washing area very dirty. Very over priced for a campground that is older and not updated. Wouldn't recommend steamboat Springs KOA.

The facility was really nice and bathrooms were very clean. I arrived 30 minutes early and thought it was a little rude they wouldn't let me check in even though the cabin was ready without an early $20 check in fee. They also didn't tell me there was a pet fee (which I assumed there would be), but without telling me how much they just charged my card or telling me they were doing that.

Arrived late, but all info provided in envelope. Facilities good and free bus service into town. Very friendly and helpful service on site

We appreciated the call to provide information regarding late check-in. My son was in a camping spot and I had a deluxe cabin; both were great and we appreciated that we were placed to close to each other. Went to the office to request that the porch light be replaced and it was done within the half hour-such service (and this was in the morning during daylight!) My cabin was great

Everything was wonderful. Staff was very nice and we really enjoyed being so close to the river. Large park with multiple amenities and the store was perfect for last minute forgetfuls and souvenirs.

Steamboat KOA is our go to stay while visiting "The Boat". Staff is first class and location to town and slopes is so convenient.

Nice friendly phone conversation and excellent instructions were left to find our space. Due to melting snow, it was very muddy everywhere. The access to town using the bus was great, although we did not use it.

I will definitely be coming back. What a great facility! The staff were all super affable and I felt very much at home. I'd live here for months at a time, if I could :)

We had a good stay,but the price is really high. When your spot is to short to fit your truck and in the winter with muddy conditions just to high priced. The employees were very nice.

I know it's a big ask considering your location is in a snowy ski town, but if you're going to charge $15 for a dog, and $36 or our 3 kids, please shovel the features you're charging us to use, or simply don't charge that fee in the winter. Actually, it isn't a big ask. Businesses keep their spaces shoveled. We would have loved to use the playground and dog park.

We had the absolute BEST visit in Steamboat! This campground is a huge reason for our great stay. Hot showers, always clean bathrooms first stop on the free bus to the mountain, and super friendly and helpful folks working. We will be back next year! We tell EVERYONE about Steamboat KOA!

Quiet, out of the hustle and bustle of town. Sites fairly spread out. Bathrooms are warm and have multiple stalls and showers. Located on steamboat bus route so super easy to access downtown or ski mountain without having to drive. We had a family member visit for a few nights and he stayed in one of the camping cabins. Very convenient.

This was one of the best KOAs we’ve stayed in! The deluxe cabin was perfectly equipped, great scenery, transportation access and location was exactly what we were looking for. Staff were helpful as we had many questions leading up to the stay due to weather conditions. This is likely to be our main spot for any future ski trips to the area. Thank you!!

The shuttle bus into town is a great perk and being right on the creek was beautiful. The other amenities are pretty basic. Was disappointed that the dump station was snowed in and not cleared for patrons.

The staff was friendly and helpful. I liked having the outside sink to wash dishes with hot water. The bathrooms were clean and the hot showers were great! We were able to take the free city bus to the resort. It was a nice campground.

I grew up coming to the KOA in Steamboat. Although the campground has expanded it still keeps its cozy charm. We stayed in the deluxe cabin in March. Heat was not a problem. L105 is nestled on the corner with a view of the river. You are 10 minute from downtown and yet out of town you feel like you are in the wilderness. Shower water was hot and cabin clean. Kitchen was great for cooking breakfast

The amenities were really nice, the showers/bathroom stayed clean and warm. The parking spot left a little to be desired as when I arrived it was a giant slush pit which is expected during this time of year but was still complicated getting in after dark.

I made a reservation call in October 2023,to Steamboat, it rolled over to computer or you main office How ever, I was specific about what I wanted in lot location and hook ups When I arrived on 3/1 I was placed way away from bus stop, had full hook up, only asked for elec and the dump station was closed We are skiers, use the Steamboat bus service to get to ski area I was told they did the

We love staying with you in the Winter. Campground is kept plowed, bathrooms are clean, staff is incredibly helpful if you need anything. Catching the bus is so easy. It really makes for an easy winter camping spot!

What a great place! I’m normally someone who parks my van off road at a trailhead. But for a three day ski trip in a town with strict no overnight camoubg rules, plus a prediction of heavy snow, I wanted something more reliable. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. The facilities were extremely clean. Highly recommend!

Expensive for a winter site with no additional facilities aside from shower block and electrical. Bus aids in convenience but located on the far edge of town. Pull through sites positioned next to road which means road traffic was constant and site had zero privacy. Bathrooms repainted every other day yet showerheads and other bathroom cleaning and maintenance neglected. Staff were all pleasant.

Great service right from the start. Kaytee at the front desk and on the phone addressed all of our needs before and after our arrival with a great attitude. The site team got us to our spot and make sure we knew how to use all the hookups which worked beautifully. The bathrooms were clean and warm. We could not have asked from better support. A better price, maybe. But not a better facility.

Definitely THE best KOA I have ever stayed at for its view and ambiance. Very quiet at night even with highway nearby (thankfully there are no loud bikers during the winter). The bathrooms were kept clean, although a bit far away from my camp spot. My neighbors were very respectful and friendly. The staff was very helpful.

Beautiful campground with lots of amenities. My son had a camping spot and I had a deluxe cabin-both were awesome. The cabin was cleaned and well-maintained, with kitchen supplies, toilet paper and soap. Staff were great, contacting us to give details for late check-in. Store next to office is great!

Great option to stay in town in the winter. We travel in our Sprinter 144 and there are not a lot of options for stealth camping in the winter. On one of our nights the temp dropped dramatically and well below the forecast. Woke up with a nearly dead battery and some diesel that was gelled. The staff supplied me with a trickle charger and a propane heater to point towards the undercarriage. Got the engine running in now time. The guys there helped me out big time.
