Thank you, Jocelyn & Randy Jenkins and Jocelyn Michelle & Tim Hogue, your hosts.
Meet Your Hosts
Running a successful campground is second nature to Randy and Jocelyn Jenkins, who have been actively involved in the industry for thirty-two years. When her parents purchased what was then the Midway Campground, the couple helped manage it.
Randy, an auto parts salesman and Jocelyn, a cosmetologist, purchased the campground 11 years later in 1990.
"We are second-generation owners," Jocelyn says. "Our children were raised here, and our daughter & son-in-law are part of it today." In fact, she notes, many of their guests have come back - year after year - and watched their family grow. Jocelyn & Randy joined KOA in the spring of 2009.
It is important to the Jenkins, who enjoy traveling themselves, that they treat campers - both old and new - right. That's why their motto is "Specializing in Satisfied Campers".
"We want our customers to feel at home while staying with us," Randy says. "We want to give them the kind of experience that will make them gladly recommend us to their friends."
