Great place to stay! Office staff are very friendly and helpful. The sites were shady and well maintained and the bathrooms were clean. A mixture of big rigs and tent campers when we were there. My only negative is there was no water in the lake. I was told that soon the dam will be repaired, hopefully so.

The location was obviously very well run. The bath house was super clean. The people running it were very friendly and accommodating. There used to be water in a small water park on property but it hasn't been operational due to things beyond their control for the last 5 years. It sounds like that might get reversed at some point.

Great Staff, warm and friendly. Always well received every time we stay. Level Sites, Maintained lawns, clean bathhouses. Great place for ballgame weekends or just to get away for the weekend. Highly recommended!

Very clean campground. The manager literally works nonstop to make sure the grounds are immaculate! The staff is awesome. We will be back!

The park host/ manager was so helpful and welcoming. If we had any worries such as leaving our dog for the first time in a camper, it was his first camping trip, she would check on him. We left her our spare camper keys just in case but each time we returned nothing had happened and our dog grew very accustomed to staying alone for short period. Everyone was friendly and it was quiet at night.

This was our 3rd time staying here and it's always a pleasure. The sites are big with plenty of space between. The bathrooms and showers are nicely maintained. And the people are super friendly. We'll be back in just a few months.

The staff was wonderful, friendly and very helpful. The RV sites were clean and not too close to each other, allowing privacy. Not much to do at the campground but if you have business in the area, this is a good waystation especially for anything you need to do @ Mississippi State University which is about 15 minutes away.

Very nice staff. I appreciated the free firewood left at the fire pit. Very remote and no lake. The shower room that I had access too was dirty from leaves to hair on the floor.

This park is out of the way for interstate travelers but (a) it’s not a journey campground and (b) it fit our need perfectly for our particular route. It is clean, shaded, and the staff was pleasant.

Very peaceful. Feel like you are alone, sad to see the memory of what could of been if the lake was full. Shame on the county and state for not fixing levee so lake would come back.

We stay here almost every year, both going to and returning from Colorado. It's a great place for the dogs, the staff is wonderful and the park is very well kept. Having the lake back would be great, but that is well out of their control.

We were in Starkville for our dog to have surgery at the vet hospital. We had to leave her for ICU care. Mia from Starkville KOA called t o check on her and even remembered her name! The campground is clean and has shade as well as fire rings with first stack of wood included. We recommend staying here!

Host was extremely friendly and helpful. The lake is dry but this is no fault of the campground but I enjoyed staying at the park as the showers were clean and the laundry work well. I was staying for work so really didn't miss the lake. I will be sure to stay here again on my next trip thru !

We have stayed here a bunch in the last two years and really enjoy it. Plenty of room and very relaxing. The facilities are very clean. All the folks there are super helpful especially Meo!

We only stayed for one night it’s a nice place however the lake being dried up was a let down even though it’s not their fault but campsite was nice staff was wonderful

Nice, quiet rv park. Park manager Randy is very accommodating, friendy. Big rig friendly up to 70 ft.

The reservation process was simple thanks to Randy, the manager on site! He made himself available if needed at all and checked out as several times throughout our stay to make sure everything was perfect. And that it was! The deluxe cabins were clean, cozy and well equipped with everything we needed! The firewood on site allowed us to build campfires each night, and have s'mores and make memories with our grands and children! The campground was quiet, clean, and well-maintained! We will definitely be back as soon as we can get there
