The showers and restrooms were very clean and overall the campground was nice. However, quiet hours were not observed as there was a “gathering” at a camper nearby. Very little sleep our 1 night there.

It is a noisy campground being so close to the highway. When we arrived in the dark, we picked up the folder showing our campsite number. We drove there and found that someone else had been assigned the same campsite. So we had to search for a campsite in the dark. We quickly picked something near the entrance. The site was not very level.

Generally nice with plenty to do for young families. But plenty of road and train noise and the 2 dog areas were pretty rough. It could use some care and maintenanve. We used both for our Lab.

The helper in the office was very very informative. She printed out a trip route for us to other KOA’s and she was amazing. Her name was Kia.

Easy in and out for an overnight stay. Long roomy sites that accommodated a 41ft super C plus towed vehicle without unhooking. Looks like it would be a nice place to spend several days.

This was day 2 of our 5-week trip to the Westcoast. Nice place to rest from our 10 hours of driving to get here. Very nice place to get a great night sleep before heading out in the morning to our next location as we travel West.

Very quiet and nice for winter camping. I imagine summer would be full of campers. Fun place for kids with lots of good weather things to do.Very close to rail line so trains were a bit rattling. Very nice heated shower house. Definitely got our money's worth from the winter rates.

The roads in the campground where rough. Bathrooms were nice but water never got warm enough to take a shower.

We were just staying overnight however we were greated and let in the gate by your night staff as we didn't pull in until 930pm . She was very pleasant and helpful even guided us to our spot. Great job Michael Rhodes HappyToad's Wood Roses

We loved our site with the paver patio, fire pit, and grill! One of the nicest sites we have ever reserved. The office staff were friendly and helpful, and we appreciated that we could borrow board games! We would definitely come again!

Noisy, between RR with an unguarded crossing about 1/4mile away and a highway about 200 yards away. Ear plugs all night. Also one of those parks with sodium vapor lights at night. I like to sleep with the heat on in the winter but a window cracked. No go as opening my window requires the blind to be open and it was like high noon in my camper. Broken shower cold water. Nice employees though.

Nice campground. Nice staff. We have a 45’ coach with a tow. Trying to maneuver through the turns in the campground was a little difficult, and I thought the sites were too close together.

The CG was nice. The escort was young and inexperienced. He/she did not make us aware of hazards, show us the best placement of the coach to avoid hazards. When we slowed down to avoid them, he kept going. The CG access was easy in, easy out. But the road noise and trains don’t offer much peace and quiet. We stayed one evening and the train right next door went by about Every 3 hrs.

I am an RV Inspector in stl, helping people buy an RV ready for their adventures. When the purchase is with a private seller, the RV may need to be relocated to an RV park for the pre-purchase inspection. I go to the St Louis west koa often for these inspections. I need to be there from 8am to 5pm. The staff are very helpful accommodating this time frame! Highly recommend!

It is a nice place and the office check in person was very nice. The space we had was not level at all and she let us change to a more level space. It was also not quite level but much better than the first one. The bathroom and showers were clean. It was in convenient location. We only stayed the one night.

A number of sites were not very level. Had to move to find a site where our motorhome could level properly. It was raining and the crushed limestone makes a mess inside your RV. The park is near a main road, RR track & I44, so noisy if not in the right site. Good location for nearby amenities. Showers small but very clean. Staff was amazingly friendly & helpful! They made the stay worthwhile

Stayed here as few nights for the April 2024 eclipse. The staff was very friendly and the camp store well stocked. I got a patio pull through site that was not level. I checked other sites around me and it appeared to be 50/50 as far as being level. The campground is well maintained and a nice place for evening walks. The river is a nice addition for the atmosphere of this campground. I will say be prepared for traffic noise and the train running at night. I literally thought there was a boeing 737 flying 200 feet over my campsite. Six Flags is very close and I imagine this campsite is going to be full in the summer. All of that aside, I would stay at this campground again and would recommend it.
