This is the KOA closest to St. Louis attractions! Set up camp on Old Route 66, just 12 miles from downtown. See the soaring Gateway Arch. Walk or bike across the Historic Route 66 Chain of Rocks Bridge. Whether you want to cheer on a pro team, shop until you drop or try your luck at casinos, St. Louis has it all! Visit Cahokia Mounds and Lewis & Clark state historic sites, the Missouri Botanical Garden and the unique City Museum. At the campground, you can swim, romp on the playground or play horseshoes. Kids love the free Jumping Pillow. Sorry, but NO CAMPFIRES are allowed due to county ordinances . Pool: Memorial Weekend - Labor Day Weekend. Max pull thru: 75 feet. It would have been nice to be forewarned that the railroad tracks were so close, the nightly trains were annoying. Also the shower heads were not adjustable and for short people, it was difficult... 4/15/2024

Helpful staff, kids loved the jumping pillow. Was surprised to learn about the wired internet option. It would be great if the store had more connection options for other unprepared visitors with newer laptops (HDMI connection). 4/12/2024

Very clean front andy and helpful here. I was impressed with the care of comfort for all campers especially the tents having their own cubbies to protect from wind giving privacy. 4/11/2024

Nice campground was perfect for a base camp to check out the St. Louis area. Far better than what some negative reviews posted. In an industrial area but no issue when I was there; there are trees and hedges around the campground so you never knew it... 4/4/2024

The campground was fine but I was surprised to see, just minutes after I checked in, the office was closed with "Closed for the Winter" signs. The only thing I really missed was getting coffee in the morning but nothing important. Overall, it was fine. 11/17/2023

The facilities were clean and functional, especially the nice bathrooms/showers. Overall, the place was drab and needed some sparkle added. The WiFi didn't work. Our RV experienced some electrical issues we didn't have at other campgrounds... 11/13/2023

It was nice that we could check in after 5 pm. It is a bummer that you can not have a campfire. If wood fires are not allowed, the campground should provide propane fire pits. Bathrooms we ok. It was very quiet which is appreciated. The pillow bouncer was an awesome addition... 10/25/2023
