Campground Reviews

Jun 02, 2014
Too close to highway traffic noise but otherwise great.

Clean, friendly staff. Disapointed that wi-fi was not working. Without TV/radio and no wi-fi we could not keep up on what was happening back home. Nice campground for photographers.

Big wide, flat spaces but too hot, dry. No store.

Campground has no GPS friendly address. Internet was down and had been for a time. Phone service was lousy. Right next to I-15 and very noisy. Lots were mostly less than level. Not worth the trip. We had planned to stay 5 nights and stayed one.

We are Coast to Coast members and were shifted to a small lot in the back. The park was half empty. We asked to move back one row for a satalite dish. We were denied. Because of that we cancelled our return stay-$51.00 and stayed at another park. Was it worth it? I don't think so. If the park had been full I would have understood. You lost $51 and return business because of one row.

Had a great time, will definitely return! WiFi was down, but I consider that a good thing, keeps the kids outside where they should be!
May 28, 2014
No store. A lot of unlevel sites. But this KOA met our needs for visiting Zion
May 27, 2014
the people were friendly the ground was kept clean and it was a very relaxing atmostfere
May 27, 2014
We had planned on staying longer but because there was not internet connection or hardly any cell reception we left early
May 27, 2014
Very nice and clean camp the staff was excellent and very helpful when there was a need.
May 27, 2014
I thought it was a great place to stay!
May 27, 2014
My stay at the campground was all right, but not the best. 1st, my family is a tent family, so tenting was least bit desirable. They let us stay in a RV spot which helped, but we had to be on the rocks not the grass. More tent sites would be helpful. 2nd, no camp fire rings at campsites made things interesting. We had to go the "community" fire to roast marshmellows. Other than that it was fine.
May 27, 2014
The campsite had no table, fire pit or dirt to put my tent. We slept on gravel. Neighbors tent right next to ours. Overpriced for quality.

lovely campground!

Campgrounds have to learn that wifi is important for travelers!! If ots broke fix it fast dont wait weeks. We saw weeks ago it was down when we arrovee it still was, very bad.
May 26, 2014
Staff is excelent. very short on outside tables. Spot we were in was over 6" out of level in width. Not good for trailers

May 24, 2014
Extremely narrow campsite with no place to be outside and a step-off right outside the door into the neighboring site. So narrow there was no good place to park truck. Little scenic appeal. Very nice restrooms but far from site.
May 24, 2014
Facilities and grounds were good. Unfortunately, The staff seemed indifferent to our needs and their availability.
May 24, 2014
Easy check in and many improvements in process.

Only slightly disappointed that we had only gravel/dirt tent sites. We understand that not all KOA's are the same & we should have researched better. We will be more careful in the future. The showers were nearby - that was nice.

It was clean the people there were great and very friendly I will go back

Liked the campground and its views. Close to my friends in St. George. Followed recommended directions from KOA, they were perfect. Do not rely on GPS as it will take you on a dirt road.
May 19, 2014
You need a hot tub/spa.
May 18, 2014
Hard to find, away from any highway. No internet and lousy cell reception. All gravel, not level spaces and short. Will not be back.
May 18, 2014
VERY EXPENSIVE for what we got. Hard to find. Had a free stay coupon from Encore/Thousand Trails with your location listed , but you person would not honor

We stayed one week, and were informed when we arrived that the wifi was down. This is a low coverage area for personal internet coverage with a cell company and it was very disappointing that no sense of urgency is felt by the management to serve campers with a service that is very important to travelers. The staff was very nice and helpful. Our site and those around us were not level.
May 15, 2014
nice rv spot all it needs is some grass....easy in and to freeway, nice pool.

The site was ok. Bathroom, showers and pool cleen. One negative point; no wifi! out of order. Not because a material failure, no! Because they refurbish the office. Well, i think it is something that should have been planned and think about !!! They should have find a temporary solution for wifi. It told me that they dont care to much about their clients !!!!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Hello & Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback from your recent stay. We understand the inconvenience of no WIFI service, hence the credit/refund we are giving ALL guests at Check In. We apologize for this lack of service during construction. Todd Hague, Property Manager

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed ice cream sundaes, the free pancake breakfast, and free mini golf. Thanks!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Owners were great. Offered us the use of their grill. Clean facility, great views. Need to add a sign on highway for correct exit to take so not to go on bumpy dirt road to get there. Simpy stating "not GPS friendly" is not a good enough warning.

Awesome staff, model home, price and location!!!!!

Loved the Park model but why pay $90 and have an 16 foot Rv a foot from your porch when there was open spots, no tent or RV should be in spot 93!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Hello & Thank you for your feedback. We use site 93 as a Last Resort when no other Pull In/Back In sites are available. Some guests choose this type of site versus a Pull Thru site. Todd Hague, Property Manager

Hosts were extremely helpful. We decided to pack up to avoid a storm, but the storm came on so quick we ended up packing up in extreme winds. The hosts came over to help my husband pack up so I could stay in the car with our very scared 8 month old son. If you're tenting, make sure to request the site by the playground and bathrooms. It's the only one with grass.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Hi and Thanks for your recent feedback. We are very grateful to have Denny & Brenda as Staff Members & glad he was able to assist you during the storm. Come back & Stay with us during better weather. Todd Hague, Property Manager

Very nice, accommodating people. We were a late arrival, but Jean was there waiting for us and escorted us to our site. That was extraordinary, as we had traveled 625 miles that day and we were extremely tired. Also had great handouts for visitors with easy directions to local and area points of interest. Thanks for a really great stay!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Hi & Thank you for sharing feedback with us. We are lucky to have Great Staff Members like Jean who go above and beyond the Call of Duty. We are glad to hear the Directions Sheet was Helpful to you also. Come back and see us again! Todd Hague, Property Manager

Clean but sites are uneven. Wifi was never available. Phones hardly ever worked.

This was a nice place to stay when all NFS campgrounds were full. The showers and restrooms were very clean. The staff was somewhat helpful but didn't seem to know a lot about the area-couldn't offer hiking suggestions, etc. We used it as a place to sleep and left during day. Lots of big rigs dwarfed our little A-frame.
