Campground Reviews

Apr 16, 2014
Rustic but friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi inoperative but not a problem. Pretty scenery.
Apr 15, 2014
Very nicely kept. The campsites are very close together. Our slideout was 2 inches from our neighbors slideout. Close to the freeway, so some road noise, but it wasn't too bad.

Obviously making changes to this facility (new clubhouse). Sites for larger (32'+ are difficult to use. Need much leveler sites and utilities that are located in the center to serve two sites. Current location is great for one site but unusable for the adjoining site.

RVs sites are too close together. Sites not level. Internet didn't work. Area trashy near our site near south end. Expensive .

Being seniors and not using any of the facilities I can only speak about the unaccommodating staff. Assigned site was probably the worst possible for us. This and one other were all that was available while looking at a less than half full park was insulting. This was a Tues/Wed night stay. No I would not return or recommend this KOA.

I was charged for hook-ups when I asked not to have them. The area I was assigned was not attractive..up against a fence with Park Models in back of it and 2 parked cars next to me. No picnic table. Only had one bathroom for the whole place and it was quite a walk to get to it. No store. This place cost me more than a motel in this area.

Best customer service!

We had a wonderful stay. The one thing that could be fixed is the lack of WiFi. My son had online homework that needed to be done. We has no cell service and the WiFi was barely working. Overall a great, clean campground!
Apr 12, 2014
The campground was not what we expected. There are other nicer campgrounds in the area that we have stayed at. I do not think we will return to this campground until we see they have made many improvements to the sites. The pool was not very clean and was in need of maintenance. The sites are not very level and need a lot of work.

We had a great time! Loved the game room and swimming pool. The showers were great.
Apr 12, 2014
No shade, Lights on all night, noise from I-15,staff was very helpful and kind, though..Clean Bathrooms and clean premises

Close to everything. Great park across the street. Great staff, very helpful and accomodating. And the pool was a nice break from the heat. We'll go back!

Great clean campground. Very kid friendly.

The staff was amazing! Very friendly and thoughtful. It was 2 of my children's birthday and the staff put balloons and a card on our trailer. What an amazing staff....We will be staying there again.

We stayed in a cabin and it very clean as was the rest of the park. It was an enjoyable stay!

This KOA has great potential! A beautiful scenic location with nice clubhouse. The big drawback is their sites are way too close (we asked to be moved as we could not have opened our slides and they are very uneven. They need to remove some sites and make each one larger. This is very negative and several others asked to be moved.

Bathrooms and showers very nice and clean. Friendly and helpful staff. RV sites could be more level tho. Narrow spaces to maneuver into. Quite a bit of traffic noise from the interstate nearby. Not very scenic, but a good place to stay for traveling to Zion.

Front office staff could use a smile. Showers on the cool side. Sight was clean with great view.

Nice
Apr 05, 2014
The area is very nice, however I wouldn't recommend staying there until/unless the "road construction" is finished the "rumble-strip" noise is very loud all night
Apr 05, 2014
It is a nice place to stay and to visit Zion National Park.

This KOA is in great location, but as you plan your stay know there are two beautiful public campgrounds within 2 miles. This "New" KOA is a rebuilt trailer park, and the tent sites are tiny, uneven, and full of trash. The bathroom is very large, but the shower valves need an update as I took a freezing shower since the knob was broken and turning freely.

One of the cleanest restrooms. Would stay here again. Would encourage speed limit control within the park.

Nice location, well kept, nice and helpfull staff

campground was clean. Laundry room was clean & had lots of machines which was important to us since we had 4 adults & 3 kids. Close to Zion
Mar 31, 2014
This had all the amenities of a typical KOA, which is great. Management was very nice. Downside is that it is right alongside I-5 and the traffic noise is very annoying at night. The tent spot I was given was so tiny and bare. No trees or grass and only 10 feet from a residential house across the fence. Worst space I've ever rented in.
Mar 31, 2014
Friendly staff. Bathrooms were clean. But for the price the campground is right off the noisy freeway and it the campground was run downed compared to other koas we have stayed at.

Very nice place to stay.

Would like more space between sites. Bathrooms were very nice and very clean.

Very unhappy with our stay. They would not redeem my points towards our payment. They spaces are not level/maintained. Campground is pretty run-down. Very expensive & staff is not helpful at all. We will never stay at this campground again!

High rates and lousy TV.

I paid $46.00 for a pull through that I had to add 6" of blocks under the entry side of the coach to get it level. Sights are very narrow with electric hookup in the middle of the sight- if you have a slide that is in the middle of your coach you have move away from the electric pod to get the slide all the way out - this takes up all of the room on the entry side. All gravel sites.

Thank you for your feedback. Our goal is to get our sites leveled in 2014. Safe Travels & Happy Camping! Todd Hague, Property Manager

small campsite with barely enough room for a small tent, no table or fire pit. neighbors also having to use our campsite for their larger tent. too close for comfort!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for your feedback. We are developing more spacious Deluxe Tent sites in the next few months that will provide Tent Pad, Picnic Table, & Fire Ring. Todd Hague, Property Manager

What a great place for family fun! We loved our recent stay at the St. George/Hurricane KOA. Our family of five fit nicely in one of the beautiful new cabins, and we kept busy all weekend with Pickle Ball, mini golf, pool, etc. The Red Rocks conservation area (just across the street) provides hours of natural fun and beauty. The camp staff were unfailingly pleasant and helpful.

People were great that work there. Campground was nice

Not big rig friendly. Site was short and narrow.

We love this KOA park in St. George, Utah. The staff are friendly and very helpful. We had excellent cable and Wi-Fi signals and our only complaint is that we wish the sites were a bit more level. We noticed the brand new picnic tables you added the day after we arrived. We'll be back again!
