Friendly host and clean facilities. Very satisfied.

I understand we were only staying 1 night, but they put us next to a long term camper that was filthy. I will never use this facility again. Staff was not at all friendly.

Once the new owners finish with planned improvements the site should be very nice. Signs on hwy 15 are misleading, and gps directions guarantee a disaster if coming from the south.

We stayed here in July 2013.. Hot weather but they had some spots with shade & lovely pool. Staff was friendly, helpful . Only improvement would be clear signage for the office. They need to let you know where checkin/ registration is as the guard shack is closed & not being used. Clean quiet place to get some rest for next days drive!

nice people, but pool needed some work. Very cloudy not real clean. Picnic tables would have been nice at camp site. Gravel could have been evened out a little bit. But overall we were comfortable

New KOA, easy to get too. Staff was friendly and helpful. Site was way off level.

The park was more than I expected. The employees are friendly and helpful. Everything was new and clean.

Very helpful staff but there were no bbq nor tables by our campsite location. Site is a little remote and hard to find. Koodo's for the AC showers though. A nice touch

The staff was Awsome the game room, pool, and restrooms were the cleanest I have been to. Had lots of fun. It was my friends first time at an koa. They were impressed .

I realize KOA has just taken over this campground but it was not even close to the normal standards of KOA. There was no store for even basics, no picnic tables, and the sites were too small and close to even sit outside. I was very disappointed. This is a great location but needs a lot of upgrading to be worthy of the KOA brand.

KOAs are solid that is why I always use them. Showers are clean, site is clean.Wasnt perfect because of check in.Was a little rough, but ok

Close to the I-15, brand new, alot of future plans in the works! Will stay again, thanks

We arrived just before the office closed. Very helpful getting us checked in and while making reservations on the phone. The clubhouse was very nice, as was the laundry area. We did not use any other amenities.

So much dirt! Our site had ants everywhere.

Clean bathrooms and showers. Missing a few amenities we've usually see at many other KOAs. like our own picnic table...seems like there was only one table every other site. No dishwashing sink or none that we found.

We stayed overnight passing through on our way home. Very nice park and the staff was very helpful. Full hookups and cable TV was a plus.

Good place to stay en route from S.Cal to Glacier Nat. Park Rather hot in June

In general the location of the campground nice and the restrooms and showers were clean. Nevertheless compared to other KOA the whole camground needs an significant upgrade, all facilities (are) look old. Some sites do not have tables. It was not (yet) KOA standard as we expected.

We loved our stay at St George/Hurricane! The surrounding area is unreal as are the views from each site. The only reason it did not get a "great" is because it has only been a KOA for 4 months and is still working on a few things that KOA are known for (store, activities.) I would recommend one of the K9 baths to help the dogs beat the heat. Bikes, more info about area across the street maybe too

According to the website, this KOA should be on the shore of the lake. However, it was not at the lake at all. In addition, at our place there was no picknick table available.

Being the first KOA that we have every stayed at ....I felt it was clean and pleasant with the trees and the lovely view of the red mountains ....the downfall is that the trees need to be trimmed especially around the common driveway areas as we ended up putting a hole on the side of the roof of our brand new RV.

The Staff was very friendly. The facilities were very clean. This is a facility that is trying to get to the KOA standards. It use to have a marina and easy fishing access but the lake was down. The root beer floats were awesome. Although the pool did need some work. the water was the best we had been in. We woke up to beautiful red mountain views. The fishing is a hike. checkout homested

This campground is probably the worst KOA we have ever stayed in. Wanted us to put a 30' RV in a tent space. Went to overflow and had to park uphill. No Wi-Fi as promised. No manager on duty at 4:30 at night. Spaces very close together. Love KOA but not this place.

I realize that this KOA is new to the system, but it isn't up to KOA standards yet. The folks are friendly and are trying hard to get there. However, we were very dissatisfied with our site. The temps were triple digits, we stayed 3 nights and didn't have a spot of shade (it seemed that others who were there shorter times had sites with shade). No shade made it impossible to sit outside.

Very clean, AC was great and customer service was excellent.
Jul 01, 2013
Not enough shade or picnic tables.

It's a new KOA so there has to be some latitude for getting up to speed. But... When we walked in to register one lady was on the phone and what I assumed to be the owner just sat at his desk and never even said hello, bad move not very friendly. Next no store??? One of the reasons we stay at KOA's is a certain standard of quality is generally there. Unfortunately, this KOA is not there yet.

This is not a "new" KOA the site its 20 years old it is just new to KOA ownership. It is NOT on the shores of Quail lake (actually a 10 min drive) It is basically a trailer park with some long term motorhome tenets. The "uniques" are actually single wide trailers. There is no general store. It was not what we expected. The description is completely deceiving, worst KOA we have ever been to

The campground could use some picking up. There was trash around the campsite and no defined area of dirt and site. The biggest problem, however, was that WIFI was advertised and the code to log on was given during check in. It turns out that it will not work and the staff know it. That amounts to deception and should either be fixed or removed from the camp services.

Nice location but road to campground was awful. We almost broke our dishes. Also, we let campground know we were going to be late and they let someone else have our spot. We had to figure out where to park.

Needs a lot of work. The people are very nice.
Jun 27, 2013
We cancelled our reservations....so obviously, they did not see fit to notice.
Jun 27, 2013
This campgrd. should not call itself a KOA. The swimming pool was taken over by locals who live in the trailer park there. We did not feel comfortable using the pool and surrounding facilities. Furniture around the pool was worn and falling apart. The sewage hookup area at our site was infested with roaches. Cable & internet was not working. Should have asked for a refund and stayed elsewhere
