Pleasant stay. Great place for kids. Only thing I'd encourage is to put tall flags on the bikes available for kids to ride. Since they are so low to the ground, we were worried about hitting one.

Could tell that there was a new owner since our last stay. It looked better maintained and cleaner. The new owners are super friendly and are working hard to update and revitalize the campground!

My wife and I where only There a couple days for a graduation near by. The staff was awesome and helpful we didn't use many of the facilities, we loved the mature shade trees. It does need a few minor updates but as I was told they are new owners ad working on it. We have already recommended it to some relatives . Wes Sandi Naperville, IL.

Great place. Lots of included amenities for the kids- bikes, jump pad, pool, playground with old school merry go round. Staff was very helpful. Quiet and secluded.

Other then the road being flooded out, it was,t to bad a camp ground. And it would be a good idea if you guys might check the power boxes for ,,WASPS,, ever so often,,,,,,,

Not sure when we will be back thru Springfield but will most definitely stay here if we do. Really liked it here. May be off the beaten path a bit but worth it. So quiet. Nice lots and a great pool. Staff was wonderful. Hope to see you again. The Roberts’s

We unexpectedly stopped at Springfield KOA after leaving a campground near St Louis early due to the extreme heat and lack of shade. Springfield was on our way to Chicago and we needed a place to stay for 3 nights. We found the campground to be wonderful. Staff, sites, pool and shade were all top notch. Definitely recommend staying here!

Our spot was a “corner” so we had a large grass area with picnic table. The fire ring didn’t have a grill grate - but a worker gladly went and got us one! The bathroom / shower house is AMAZING (we normally camp state parks and the facilities there can be sketchy at best). The pool was clean and a great way to cool off. The staff were all friendly and seemed to enjoy their positions!

Nice campground however the laundry room needs work. It was not acceptable. Road to Campground flooded while we were out for the day and it would have been nice to receive a text stating road had been closed and to use an alternative route.

Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restrooms and pool were clean and well maintained. Cons: The roads that provide access to the park are terrible. Either way you enter the park you are on what amounts to a one lane farm road. After it rained the main way in and out was closed due to flooding. Much of the park didn't drain all that well either.

We absolutely loved having buddy sites 36 and 38. The extra space was great for all of the kids. There were so many fun things to do. We had a great time!

This KOA is way off the interstate and the roads to get there are very long, narrow, curvy, and mostly gravel. It would have been extremely hard for two campers to have enough room to pass if meeting on the roads. The office person said the detour was necessary because of some localized flooding. The campground itself is ok, but the distance and road conditions are a great deterrent.

The road into and out of the campground is extremely narrow with multiple blind curves. Very difficult to maneuver when any vehicles are coming from the opposite direction. Overpriced. Lack of gravel in sites. Low hanging branches. Materials piled up around the main building. Plenty for kids to do, but rules requiring supervision aren’t enforced.

Staff at this site are new and rapidly updating the place. They are incredibly kind and helpful-so easy to work with. The sites all seem to have a lovely a mount of shade and there is a lot for the family. There is a playground and a pool, reclining bikes for the kid and even a little putt putt golf course on site. There's plenty of room to walk your dog and a small fenced dog play/potty yard.

We stayed for 3 nights. Great location for all the Springfield attractions. We would go back again.

There was a little mix up when I arrived but that was only because I had to do a morning check in...Staff was very friendly, nice grounds and bathroom/shower facilities were very clean. I stayed here due to work but will definitely be bringing my wife back to stay at this campground!!

Nice campgrounds. We arrived during a storm so muddy but dried up. People were great! Nice and very accommodating. Quiet. Looked like lots of fun stuff for the kids and families. Could use some sprucing up. Did not see bathrooms or showers. Access to laundry was weird and messy.

1)When you pull into the property the first thing you see is junk piled all over behind the office.In fact my asked is this the wrong driveway and are we in someone’s yard. 2) there is a dump house or mobile home behind the office that’s an absolute disaster 3) The pool was absolutely clouded to the max not being properly tested and maintained.They we’re using Walmart household bleach as chl

Promised military discount and didn't include it. When we asked for it clerk said payment went through and nothing could be done. Lousy way to treat my husband who fought on ground in Vietnam, KOA was horrible to military people.

Amazingly was able to book Sunday night on Memorial Day weekend at the last minute using the handy app! Arrived to a clean & super friendly campground. Couldn’t of asked for a better experience! Super kid & dog friendly place which is very important to us! We will be back. Thank u so much!

Nice quiet rural setting but access roads are very narrow and not in great shape. The sites are fine but trees need to be trimmed up for big rig roof clearance. Dragged a few branches in the campground itself and we certainly don’t have one of the really big units.

Convenient for our purpose of visiting family in Springfield. Noisy when full, muddy when wet, dusty when dry.

Clean and quiet. Well set up. Playgrounds and putt putt etc for the kids. Walmart 15 minutes away. Convenience store on property.

Charming campground, Quiet day and night, for a Journey it is away from the interstate / highway noise. We stayed in our fifth wheel however there are several nice cabins and a Family sized Lodge to stay in as well as secluded tent sites in various locations. Bathrooms and Showers were always clean and stocked. The store has a wide variety of items for your camping needs. New improvements are being made all around the campground and several were in process while we were there however the staff ensured the work did not interfere with any guests or activities. There are several new Electric and Water Paved back in sites while the original sites are in a shaded section and it appears all the trees were trimmed properly to prevent from low hanging branches. We met the owners and they are super nice and treat you well as do the rest of the staff we met. One of the workers (Herman) cruised the park and was always friendly. We would stay there again.
