All the site and camp spots roads need upgrading and leveling. Site does not drain well. So in a heavy rain you are stepping out in water.

Great time, very clean bathrooms and office area. Beautiful pool. Lawn was mowed and clean, no trash on the ground. Will definitely stay again.

Relaxing stay in a nice spacious and clean site. Enjoyed swimming in the warm pool and watching the kids play mini golf and ride the banana bikes!

It's out in the country but phone reception is good so you can use maps to find historical Lincoln spots in Springfield, and other places you might need. New owner is working hard on making improvements. He is very helpful and friendly. I do suggest recycling should be added to all KOA campgrounds.

Second time staying here. First time with the new management. Very friendly and came and checked on us after our late checkin. Upgraded us no extra to gravel pull-through instead of grassy backin. So much rain lately. Quiet and off the beaten path. Only problem is the water has so much silt in it. So glad we still had water with us. We will be back again!

I stay at your KOA each year on my way to EAA Oshkosh WI Your campground it one of the most favorite places to stay , but when you can more work needs to be on low spots around power plugs and drainage. I highly recommend your campground to all who ask me good place to stay (GREAT PLACE TO STAY)

This is a nice little campground. Lots of things for the kids to do. The service was Great! When we arrived, we asked if there were any sites with trees (its been VERY not lately) and the person who was working in the office was super accommodating. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area.

This is a nice clean Campground with new owners. They are the nicest people. They are obviously working on making many improvements, but the camp sites are nice and clean with shade and well kept grass. The pool was a godsend as it was in the 90s when we were there. The boys loved the banana bikes and mini golf which was free for now. Nice setting with super nice owners.

Well off the beaten path and away from highway noise and traffic. Well maintained and the owner was super nice. We were only there for one night so we didn't use the restrooms or other facilties. Internet and cable TV worked well. If your travels take you through Springfield, IL, this campground is well worth stopping at.

Nice wooded area tucked away. Friendly host, nice camp store. Gravel sites. Sewer a little strange, location really close to neighbors. Could use some cleaning and fixing up. Pretty area.

Needs a refresh. Very little gravel on the spots, dog park grass very tall, just a little worn out. Seemed like many campers were regulars there- not too friendly. Location is in the woods, narrow roads. Overall okay.

Just what we were looking for. Close to Springfield and all things Lincoln. The site itself was level and had a very nice picnic table and firepit. Liked having mini-golf on site. Thank you!

Very nice hosts, very accommodating. Loved that the KOA was off the highways and away from trains and noise. Could see stars at night. We have stayed in about 25 KOAs over the last 3 years. This one was the best. Sites were larger than a typical KOA. Hosts very friendly and pleasant. Pool crystal clear. Playground good for kids. Will definitely return.

Springfield KOA is a great place to enjoy time with family and friends. You can sit around the fire or join in one of the many games or activities offered. Thank you for the memories!

Tucked back in the country, the Koa Springfield is a gem. The new owners of the campground are very welcoming and friendly. The campground is clean with newly remodeled amenities. Would definitely stay again!

Some sites are not desirable because of inconvenient sewer access, reversed pull thru directions as well as maps that are inaccurate. Entrance road is terribly bumpy.

Pleasant stay. Great place for kids. Only thing I'd encourage is to put tall flags on the bikes available for kids to ride. Since they are so low to the ground, we were worried about hitting one.

Could tell that there was a new owner since our last stay. It looked better maintained and cleaner. The new owners are super friendly and are working hard to update and revitalize the campground!

My wife and I where only There a couple days for a graduation near by. The staff was awesome and helpful we didn't use many of the facilities, we loved the mature shade trees. It does need a few minor updates but as I was told they are new owners ad working on it. We have already recommended it to some relatives . Wes Sandi Naperville, IL.

Other then the road being flooded out, it was,t to bad a camp ground. And it would be a good idea if you guys might check the power boxes for ,,WASPS,, ever so often,,,,,,,

We unexpectedly stopped at Springfield KOA after leaving a campground near St Louis early due to the extreme heat and lack of shade. Springfield was on our way to Chicago and we needed a place to stay for 3 nights. We found the campground to be wonderful. Staff, sites, pool and shade were all top notch. Definitely recommend staying here!

Clean and quiet. Well set up. Playgrounds and putt putt etc for the kids. Walmart 15 minutes away. Convenience store on property.

Charming campground, Quiet day and night, for a Journey it is away from the interstate / highway noise. We stayed in our fifth wheel however there are several nice cabins and a Family sized Lodge to stay in as well as secluded tent sites in various locations. Bathrooms and Showers were always clean and stocked. The store has a wide variety of items for your camping needs. New improvements are being made all around the campground and several were in process while we were there however the staff ensured the work did not interfere with any guests or activities. There are several new Electric and Water Paved back in sites while the original sites are in a shaded section and it appears all the trees were trimmed properly to prevent from low hanging branches. We met the owners and they are super nice and treat you well as do the rest of the staff we met. One of the workers (Herman) cruised the park and was always friendly. We would stay there again.
