The campground is very nice. The roads to get there are not. We stayed for 3 nights and went to the state fair during the day. Very good time and probably will stay there again next year.

Campsites were as advertised. Restrooms and showers were clean. A few other areas could use a little TLC such as the miniature golf and also the pool deck needs to be refinished. The road leading to the campground is very narrow and bumpy. Not sure how two campers could pass each other on the road. Overall a good stay. New owners seem to be trying to update and are motivated, also very nice.

Very pleasant spot, clean facilities, and good signage directing us to the location. Also, very accommodating changing our reservation dates when we had mechanical problems that delayed our trip.

Staff is friendly helps you out. There are a lot of amenities that makes it nice and it was clean.

Lovely tent sites - lush grass and large mature trees. It was convoluted to get to the campground, and a bit away from Springfield. Still, it was a nice place. Single shower/bathroom facility, with only 3 showers and 3 toilets (one of which was out of commission) so there were sometimes lines that formed.

We had a great time. The camp was well kept, quiet, secluded, clean. The kids loved the ‘banana bikes’. I think we will be back.

Incredibly beautiful, and quiet space. Extremely well-maintained. Location was much better than others... off the beaten path!

People at the desk very helpful and friendly. The sites were large. However most of the park was devoted to kids. We can see why because are the main campers in the summer

Had a wonderful time staying at the KOA in Springfield. Lots of things to do and staff went above and beyond to meet our needs. Everything in our cabin was very clean and it was very well stocked. Great prices and great people. Planning another trip back in a couple of weeks. This is now our favorite spot in this area.

Quick stop on our way through the area, didn't partake of the extra amenities but got to see firsthand what a KOA was like (first timer). Was impressed by the variety of goods in the camp store and the person at check in was very nice and extremely helpful. Won't rule out KOA stays in the future!

Our first time staying at a KOA campground was a pleasant experience. We chose this one because it is away from the highway and city noise. The only night sounds were sheep and crickets. We only booked one night but stayed an extra night to bicycle to the Lincoln Memorial Gardens and swim in the campground pool. The staff was friendly and helpful. The facilities were well maintained and clean.

This campground is definitely off the beaten path. The last mile of road to get back to the campground is so narrow, two rvs wouldn’t be able to squeeze by one another if they were to meet head on. The people running it were nice, but the only time we seen them was at check in.

Would rate the park higher but the road into the park ... for a new RV'r in a Class A 40' Motorhome might cause real panic. For us, not an issue we've been Rv'ng in a 40' diesel coach since 2000. Loved the deer greeting us ... coming and going

Very nice site for an older KOA. Shower house was clean and nice. The road was washed out but there was a alternate route to the campground.

First time taking 7 & 2 year old grandkids, our site was nice and level, thus miminal time to set up, kids loved the pool and jumping pad, nice facility, new owners working hard making improvements (stayed the 5-6 times prior).

This KOA is a bit run down and is in need of some updates. The bunk beds are like sleeping on a bed of bricks which makes it impossible to sleep. The chairs around the outside table are dangerous. My dad sat back in his chair and flipped backwards onto the ground injuring his head. The tv doesn’t work and there are a bunch of rocks on the jump pad making it impossible to jump.

Stayed here twice. No longer will stay here. They do not enforce dogs stay on a leash. Numerous dogs running around loose and my kids are little. We had an issue with a dog bothering our dog-who was on a leash. Rules are for a reason. Campground is supposed to be geared towards children having fun, not a dog park.

We are simply amazed at the hospitality the KOA offered our family. We were checked on shortly after arriving to ensure we had everything we needed for our trip. The employees were so kind, and every single one had a smile on their face. The amenities were great! Very clean. Very polite. Will return! They made our trip so easy and fun!

Clean and quiet. Well set up. Playgrounds and putt putt etc for the kids. Walmart 15 minutes away. Convenience store on property.

Charming campground, Quiet day and night, for a Journey it is away from the interstate / highway noise. We stayed in our fifth wheel however there are several nice cabins and a Family sized Lodge to stay in as well as secluded tent sites in various locations. Bathrooms and Showers were always clean and stocked. The store has a wide variety of items for your camping needs. New improvements are being made all around the campground and several were in process while we were there however the staff ensured the work did not interfere with any guests or activities. There are several new Electric and Water Paved back in sites while the original sites are in a shaded section and it appears all the trees were trimmed properly to prevent from low hanging branches. We met the owners and they are super nice and treat you well as do the rest of the staff we met. One of the workers (Herman) cruised the park and was always friendly. We would stay there again.
