We have stayed at this KOA many times and have always enjoyed ourselves and met new friends every time. One negative was the firewood we bought had not been "seasoned" enough and was very difficult of light or keep going, even with lighter fluid and a small blow torch. Need fly swatters in the cabins too.

The only thing I didn't like was the proximity to the train tracks. Otherwise the staff was helpful and everything was very nice and clean.

we really enjoyed having a little dog park for our dog...she definetly needed the freedom after driving in a car for 2 days..we highly recommend all KOAs to have one and we appreciated the late night check in...Kabin was easy to find and readily available.

Nice people & good, clean facility. Just can't stand the trains! Too bad it's not on the east side of Springfield.

The ONLY problem with this KOA, is the constant train noise during the night. There is no way to sleep through, as it is very close. Everything else was fine; TV & Frig were nice in the cabin. Can't make up for train horns. Not their fault, but too much.

This was our first stay at any KOA site. We stayed in a single room cabin that also allowed pets which is a big decision maker for our family. The campground is very nice with a lot of amenities. We were very pleased with our stay and would stay here again when we come back to Springfield.
