Campground Reviews

The spaces and roads are very tight, staff is very friendly.

Train woke us up every night
Aug 14, 2013
A bit tight for larger Class A coaches.

With the sites as close together as they are, it would be best to remove smokers to an isolated area. We could not open the windows on one side of the trailer to avoid smoke filtering into the trailer. Not good!!!!

Always a pleasure visiting the Spokane KOA! Look forward to our next visit.

The campground itself is very nice. The operator shows movies for kids each night. However, the person beside me was a long stay camper and while I was camped he used my water (resulted in low pressure for me) to was his car parts, he installed speakers in a car, he tuned up his truck, he put a bu,per on his truck, and fixed his bike. I did not appreciate being beside the local .mechanic.

Great staff and environment. Safe place to stay and play! We tent camped - nice grassy area to pitch a tent. The train was pretty active but did not bother us much. The kids enjoyed the bikes and the b-ball court.

Great place for kids and dog. Only thing that was not pleasant was the trains. Why are campsites always close to the highway or train

Have stayed here before. This trip we paid an extra $10.00 a night to be away a bit from the train track, but that really was unfair. We are a small 2 person tent, we did not use any power or water (in fact, we were gone all day) and the campground was not nearly full. We still heard the train at night and were awoken several times. Put auto flush on urinals, they stunk!

Nice bathrooms!! Quiet.

Great place. Thank you.

Nice clean cabin. Thank goodness for air conditioning. Not used to the heat of Eastern Wa.
Aug 12, 2013
Nice place not far from the freeway. Thank goodness for the ceiling fan and air conditioning (tho didn't quite cool as much as needed) 96° out. Too hot for a couple from cool Western Washington. Thank you.

Very nice place. Clean facilities & friendly staff. Wi-Fi was very hard to get on though unless you are by the store or washrooms.

Wonderful staff, very professional, caring, made our stay outstanding. would recommend this KOA to anyone wanting to have a good time. Movies on the lawn for the kids at night, Loved it all.

My family and I have been going to the Spokane KOA for the past 10 years, making it a must go to , every year. The facilities, the pool, the grounds, are clean, well maintained, the staff are helpful, courteous and pleasant. This KOA is our go to "Happy Place" Sharon dundas, Edmonton, Alberta

We've always enjoyed staying here but this time the restrooms were dirty and the garbage containers were overflowing. The kids complained about the algae in the pool.

Great campground - SUPER friendly staff, pool was awesome, outdoor movie night was great.....we will be back!
Aug 12, 2013
Sites were pretty tight and the train was very close by. Loved the movie on Saturday night. Travelling with a 6 year old its nice to rely on the pool, playgrounds activities and tons of other kids. It's a great way to travel across unfamiliar territory, but for people who normally "camp" the rates are a bit high. We enjoyed the stay end the brand reliabilty.

Your park is very nice, HOWEVER. You neglected to tell us that a train would pass 4 times during the night blowing its horn each time. We would not have made resevations here if we had known it was right next to the train tracks.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

This particular camper had reserved their RV spot online, which does give warning of the train listed on our website. Unfortunately we are unable to do anything about the train noise.

Pool is not too kid friendly. gets deep too fast and only one small step entry area, bathrooms were clean and kept up. A fair amount of people cutting through camp sites instead of using road (walkers), but that's not KOA's problem that is a courtesy thing. All in all stay was good.

This KOA really needs to control the wasp population at their sites. Wasps were out of control, you couldn't sit outside to eat, cook or anything without being swarmed. You should look at using recycled rubber mulch in playground area instead of silly sand so the kids don't get completely filthy going down a few slides.

Great place to stay. Staff are always friendly. Lots of things for everyone to do.
Aug 11, 2013
Nice campground. A bit rustic, but is in a great location for us. Our kids loved the pool. It was a bit cold, but the kids liked it. The only compaint is the train! It is really loud.
Aug 11, 2013
Nice camp site. Didn't like the train tracks that were very active and loud next to the site.
Aug 11, 2013
The tent sites were very loud. The people to our right were partying until midnight, the people to our left pulled in at 11PM and started setting up camp, slamming doors and cracking beers. No Host to enforce rules. Cold pool. If you are hoping to get sleep forget it. Train runs all night long, blasting the horn.
Aug 11, 2013
The campground is located near town which is a plus in our book. The grounds are clean and quiet. We especially like that there are trees for much needed shade for the hot weather.

The playground is a lot better with the sand, and the attention that it gets from the staff.

Nice Campground. Very Clean! Showers and bathrooms very clean...and bug free!!! Campsites were a little small and crowded, and pulling out was tight. All in all a good campground and a good stay.

restrooms dirty
Aug 10, 2013
We have been very pleased as we were unable to find a campsite for #of nites we needed & the woman on phone, worked with us to make sure we could get # of nites needed & also to make sure we would not have to move during our stay!
Aug 10, 2013
very nice park with efficient check-in and helpful staff
Aug 10, 2013
Our campsite was a mud puddle. the only site in a basically empty row that was being watered. big puddles everywhere. I can understand watering by why the campsite you have rented for the day and not put us in one that was dry. The train noise will drive you crazy. Not coming back

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We try to only water our sites in the morning time before check in. If a camper arrives before check in time, it is possible they may receive a wet campsite; fortunately, we have no problem moving a camper into a dry spot... had they requested one...however they did not do so.

great swimming pool, nice environment

Very nice campground. Had some grass and shade. Just up the road from a great bike/walking path along the river. On the downside, the internet did not work very well and loud freight trains went by periodically day and night. Light sleepers might be disturbed.
