RV Reviews

There was a lot of road noise. The sites are Very Small for a 38 ft RV. No place to park the car. Plus=close to Seattle

Morning breakfast facility was dirty and terrible service. Unfriendly staff / cook. Tables were dirty. No not recommend. Park itself is fine.

Abril, at the front desk was very friendly. She is a great asset to your staff

One night during the middle of the night, some unruly teens started a campfire on a vacant sight next to us. It was very disturbing. The rules were not enforced at all in this park. Needed better management.

Well, we live close to this KOA and we like to come here for the pool, bouncy house, ice cream and tie-dye on Labor Day weekend. However! This is the second year in a row we were placed in the overflow tent sites even though we paid for water and electric. This year we were told it was because we booked online. After almost an hour we received an appropriate site

Nice & friendly & handy for town town

I did enjoy my stay but only after I paid more money to move from my campsite that was completely flooded and all my stuff wet to a full hook up site that was dry. My son had a good time except he was looking forward to the movie first night movie started 1.5 hours late next night no one wanted to put it on. So that was upsetting.

Bad electric, very low voltage
Sep 04, 2014
Friendly staff, good showers and kid stuff
Sep 04, 2014
Clean -and quiet. Only wish you had a few more TV cable hook-ups. thx!! we will be there again.

This year was "ok" the kids still had fun with all the extra activities the campground had going on. I was a little annoyed that they decide not to show a movie one night after telling us it would be outside. Some of the staff were "questionable" and let their families take over the park, smoking everywhere and using banana bikes while paying customers were pushed aside to wait all day.

The location is awful.Does not feel like camping. Its in the middle of an industrial area with nothing around. Its about 25minutes from Seattle.Nothing to do in this park, the spots are too small and the streets too narrow.I could barely pull in my 30 ft RV into my spot & I am a good driver. To get out of my spot was hard as well. Staff was not friendly.Park was not lice looking. No shades around.

This place is a joke! So crammed in, RIGHT on the hwy & they charge you to use their fire pits! For the amount you pay you should not be charged to use a fire pit. It should be on the web site to bring your own. KOA store WAY over priced, most are cheaper than a mini mart not this one! Worst KOA I have been to, it should not be allowed to have the KOA name!

The location is great in the Seattle area. Some of the employees are very friendly and others no. There was a store sale outside, which I thought was a little tacky. It looked like a yard sale. Because of convenience we will likely stay again, but would enjoy it more if it was modeled more after the KOA in Astoria/Warrenton.

I don't think it's fair to charge holiday rates on the Tuesday following a holiday
Sep 03, 2014
Camp site smaller than a prison cell...could not open my awning with the neighbors slide out extended. Could not pull straight out of the site when leaving....had to back out and turn. Campground too small to safely drive a decent size (25 ft plus) RV through it....will never, never go back. And no fire pit - would have burnt down ours or the neighbors RV anyway as there was no room.
Sep 03, 2014
Grossly overpriced, abundant hidden fees. Small, uneven sites. Flooded in rain. Really nothing positive to say about it.
Sep 03, 2014
Need better enternet and cable tv service to all locations
Sep 03, 2014
Only one problem: The RV in the space next to us had a loud TV playing well past 1:30AM. The owner was less than friendly and I could not find a way to reach the campground security to contact the people and have them turn the TV off or at least turn it down. Maybe have a number available to call after hours. Every thing else was great and I will stay there again next year.

We were in the front row, too close to our neighbour. The traffic noise was constant. Our site was messy with pine cones. Impressed with the activities for children. We were there on the long weekend so they used all the space they had.
Sep 03, 2014
We had a wonderful stay. Campground was clean and well maintained. Close enough to Seattle to get to siteseeing. Staff was helpful with tours and info on things to see and do. Enjoyed the ice cream social nightly and all-you-can-eat pancakes each morning. Go there. You will enjoy it too.
Sep 03, 2014
The good: it's a great place for kids. The bad: it's over - priced. The ugly: prepare for extremely small sites in which you are packed door to door with your neighbors. So close that we couldn't extend our awning.
Sep 02, 2014
Two of our three night stay there was vehicles arriving into the wee hours of the night some playing loud music as they drive in. Our site was right near the bouncy castle and we had to listen to screaming children all day long. Our site had huge puddles after it rained creating mud. Some other sites may have been better but site 65 is terrible.

This KOA is very...very tight for parking and leaving. RV's packed in like sardines.

Will not camp in your campground again. We were packed in like sardines. Cars in driveway no room to get out. Very dirty and dusty.
Sep 02, 2014
This KOA was terrible. The spaces are very cramped. The park allowed Tenters to pitch their tents in the common areas. The tenters took over the gazebo, and "Community" firepit, and even allowed them to camp in the lawn next to the pool. The park was dirty and outdated. We arrived to find a pair of underwear on the ground next to the cable box. The spaces are small and cramped.

The Seattle KOA was just as advertised, but our reservation was accidentally cancelled by a staff member while we were camping there on a busy holiday weekend. Three days into our stay I received a phone call and was told we were going to be towed. Mistakes happen, but the staff was so quick to blame the customer without asking any questions, and they didn't apologize. Won't stay there again.
Sep 02, 2014
It looked like the employees had their kids hanging around the campground all day and night. If so, they were a pain and made the common areas crowded. Lots of cig butts.
Sep 01, 2014
Bathrooms can be improved. Faulty black water connection created a problem.

The person who checked us in was great, helpful and accommodating. The rest of stay not so much. Bathrooms dirty, a little too cramped and dangerous bike riding by children.
Sep 01, 2014
The sites are entirely too small.
Sep 01, 2014
The employees behind the counter were helpfull and friendly. Picnic table at site wasn't usable. bouncy house was fun till the afternoon, employees were throwing pancake batter and water at each other and the people around them. It made for a nasty mess in the bouncy house so my kids had to take a shower and change cloths before we could leave. VERY unprofessional. We Won't be back!
Sep 01, 2014
zero privacy, next to a very busy road and industrial park. tiny sites, very disappointed
Sep 01, 2014
This campground is an overpriced sardine can. The grounds are clean, spots are nicely treed, but the showers and bathrooms were disgusting and the spots are so close. We paid almost $80 to eat over someone else's sewer hose.
Sep 01, 2014
It was impossible to reach staff by phone & the mailbox was always full. I requested a callback from the manager but never received one. no effort was made to accommodate me to leave my 11 foot dinghy in one of the many empty parking spaces while I visited Mt. St. Helens. I was forced to tow it 250 miles; this was extremely inconvenient since I was returning to the same KOA 1 day later.
Sep 01, 2014
The people staying/living(?) next to us were inconsiderate and loud. They left their dog outside unleashed which barked until 3am. Yelling and carrying on from the trailer next to us really put a damper on things. Staff was friendly though.
Aug 31, 2014
I couldn't fault it in any way whatsoever. A great couple of days. Thank you!
Aug 30, 2014
Things started off poorly with staff who had very bad attitudes. Once the manager return things went much more smoothly. Karen was open to listening to my suggestions. Many of the staff went out of their way to make our trip the best it could be despite our accident due to the poor parking of others and the very narrow roads and sites. Hopefully things will improves
Aug 30, 2014
The big plus is the location... close to Seattle, easy to take the bus and light rail to downtown. Beautiful Green River bike trail is adjacent. But our "full hook-up" did not include cable TV, something we always get at other KOAs. And the road is busy with lots of trucks and would be noisy in a tent... but not at all a problem in our trailer. The big breakfast was just so-so and cost $7.
Aug 29, 2014
Great location and most of the staff were great. Would be nice to have a non-smoking camping area. There are some minor repairs and upkeep needed such as shower handles falling off. We really disliked the passcodes to everything. Overall ok experience but last visit there about 4 years ago was better,
Aug 29, 2014
Don't advertise pull-throughs when they're not. Hire people who know the park and how to get to your site. The check-in person was okay.
Aug 28, 2014
It took us several times to park our trailer through our "pull through" site because the sites were so close together we would have hit our neighbours awning. Additionally, one of the reasons why we picked this campsite was for the pool and we were told upon our arrival that the pool was closed. I feel we paid far too much money for the services we received.
Aug 28, 2014
Campground had a convenient location from the interstate. Campground was very tight to get into and out (with a 30' trailer). Sites were short and trucks had to be parked on the grass in front of the trailer. Sites are narrow and could not put awning out. Cable tv was fuzzy and no kid channels. Internet was slow. Breakfast (had to pay for) was very good and good value.
Aug 28, 2014
could have better pancakes and coffee, all else great
Aug 28, 2014
Staff was very helpful. But the RV Spaces are too close to each other. You could not even have visitors, with no room to park. Every time someone would have to move their RV, entering or leaving, someone would have to move their truck or car. The picnic tables are too close to the sewer line dump, to eat at them. Larger 5th-wheels could not keep their Awnings out - as spaces too small.
