Campground Reviews

Love the location we stay there often but you really need to clean the place. All facilities are absolutely filthy... way below normal KOA standards!!
Jul 16, 2015
Pros: Good location for exploring Seattle and very close to stores and I-5. Large number of sites with a nice pool and cute kids playground. Cons: extremely crowded and tight. The sites were on top of each other with maybe 5 feet of grass before the next site. This setup is good for cramming in as many campers as possible but was not a camping experience, but more of a parking lot with hookups.

While the staff was friendly, there was not enough people. Long lines at desk. Park was way too crowded. I won't be back.
Jul 15, 2015
Everyone was very nice and welcoming.

2 showers didn't work (handles removed) 1 was too dirty to use 1 was handicapped leave only one useable shower. the washrooms were not clean. 1 toilet out of order & the stench of urine was sickening. Couldn't drive tent pegs into ground in tent area

When I saw the KOA for the first time, I thought 'this can't be the place!'. The tents areally crammed together with absolutely no privacy. I paid $50 for a 'grass pad' with water and elecrtic. I got shards of rock with a disgusting rusty pipe sticking out of the ground. Workers are unmotivated and rude. The website lies about a hot tub and game room. I am extremely dissapointed.

just coming from a WASHINGTON state PARK to KOA at 40 dollars for full hookup a night KOA seem a little pricey
Jul 15, 2015
Our first night was in the old, dirt section of the park and it was horrible there. The restrooms we're filthy and the same dirt was there 24 hours later. Our second night was in the paved, new section with the restrooms by the office and that was wonderful.

The staff works hard but there is no leadership or direction. There are nice programs in place, but the facilities are horrible. Showers need to be fixed, electrical needs to be upgraded, spaces are too small and squeezed together, water valves all leak, the place needles an overhaul. There were also people camping on the playground and parking on the lawn. This location should be better.
Jul 14, 2015
Friendly helpful staff.if you are looking for a resort style rv park or expect luxury this is not the place for you.there is some delayed maintenance and spaces are quite close to each other.but location is great for both Seattle and Tacoma.
Jul 14, 2015
Too many full timers with ancient rv's. Very tight parking!!! Need to rebuild this KOA.
Jul 14, 2015
it was the closet cg to downtown. Sites r very narrow.old crumbly asphalt rds. Some long term stays left "unattractive" sites but all in all most were kept well. It had been very dry so the grass sites were brown & dry. However, landscape around pool and office areas were very nicely done. Store had a ton of neat stuff to buy. Breakfast every am for 4.99 and ice cream social nightly w/a cam/fir

We had our grandchild with us so the playground, pool, ice cream and breakfast room worked beautifully for us.
Jul 13, 2015
The camp sites are very narrow and not very long. There are a lot of old campers there that seem to be residents. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They have a great breakfast cafe and lots of activities. The location is great but noisy from road noise. They have problems supplying enough electrical power.
Jul 13, 2015
There were plenty of staff and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately, the campground was not clean and the showers were extremely dirty. Additionally, only 2 showers worked in the shower area.
Jul 13, 2015
The camping spots are so small that our awning would have touched the neighbors Rv. Seems like a fire hazard to me.
Jul 13, 2015
The worst KOA camping site ever. Whole sites are placed on a small land. I stayed on tent site w/ water & elec. Barely fitted one tent & a car. Our right next site had 10 peopole w/ 2 big tents and 3 cars, which is not allowed. (The site rule only allows 6 people maximum w/ one tent and one vehicle per site. They were partying all night long. Definately not the place for a family camping.
Jul 13, 2015
The location is great with nearby access to everything Seattle has to offer. Staff is friendly. Pool was too cold, wifi was weak, and roads need to be repaired.
Jul 13, 2015
We had the worst experience ever. We paid more for a certain site, and were given a different one. The one we were put on was right near the busy street which has loud trucks passing by all the time. We did not get any sleep. To top it off, we were woken early by campers who were very loud. STAY AWAY from this place!!!
Jul 13, 2015
Way too over crowded. People come within inches of hitting other vehicles just to get into their assigned spot. The staff was friendly and welcoming. But I don't think we'll be back.

So much to do and breakfast was great
Jul 12, 2015
Sites are very tight and the wifi is so slow it is unusable
Jul 12, 2015
I didn't get the type of site I requested. Some toilets are not even attached to the floor. Showers are dirty and several have no handles. Sewer connection under our table. No visible security!
Jul 12, 2015
We had some isssues with Taylor, the 3rd degree over the all you can eat pancakes, and not giving me my change after paying in full. The manager did a fantastic job at taking care of us, from rearranging our reservation to keep us in the spot we had, and opening the store after it had closed so we could purchase some drinks was great service.
Jul 12, 2015
Clean park, but a bit crowded. We had a great spot on the end of the row which gave us more room. The kids enjoyed the pool and the great playground area.
Jul 11, 2015
We love that KOA,s are not far from the highway when we need a rest from driving. The KOA brand is a name of choice for us. The staff were very accommodating.
Jul 10, 2015
Very cramped and we had a 15 foot trailer with no slide-outs.
Jul 10, 2015
Terrible&expensive. Narrow streets, extremely narrow sites. Overgrown trees. After all set up, we had to move to another site as the electricity didn't work.
Jul 10, 2015
Campsites far too crowded
Jul 10, 2015
Overpriced, and spces are so close together, that the neighbors awning was so close to our rig that I could not connect to services without going under their awning! Next there seems to be a number of permanent residents who take little to no care about their space, theres crap stuffed up under the wheel wells an crap shoved under their RV, and they look like junk! One should be scrapped!
Jul 09, 2015
Bathroom showers could be cleaned a little more frequently and tents sites are a little small, very packed together. Staff very helpful and friendly and location is good.
Jul 09, 2015
If you have an RV it is great! Nice showers and pools. Renting sites are very tight and not clearly marked. Somewhat confusing...things were a bit unorganized (which sites assigned to whom).
Jul 09, 2015
Spaces too small for slide outs and awning. Street parking blocks access when entering. Off street parking not policed and not discussed at check in. Major issue. 3 of the 5 showers were not working for several days. Staff were great with what they had to work with. Great location.
Jul 09, 2015
The showers don't work, the live in are rude, trailers are side by side barely enough room to put out our slide. The pool is murky and you can't even see the bottom. Not a standard KOA!!! We won't be back!!
Jul 09, 2015
Nice staff, small spaces for big RVS, only 15-20 miles from downtown Seattle, easy access to Interstate 5.
Jul 08, 2015
Campground needs to be updated to allow room between RV's. Being 10 feet from your neighbor I may of well stayed in a Walmart parking lot for free. Parking is a joke once your RV is on site you can not park truck near it. I will never stay here again and everyone I talked to there felt the same way.
Jul 08, 2015
One of the oldest KOA's. Site are too small for today's RV's. Not a very clean park. Some of the friendliest staff and most helpful that I have encountered.
Jul 08, 2015
Jul 07, 2015
Sites very close together, but if only there to sleep, then fine. Amenities were very good.
Jul 07, 2015
The staff was excellent. I did not like that we were given a smaller space upon check-in. While the facility is clean and well-kept, the sites are VERY tight for the newer trailers, fifth-wheels and motor homes. Nonetheless, the proximity to transit and the tourist attractions of the Seattle area are superb!
Jul 07, 2015
The fireworks and music on the fourth was a bit much. However, we have stayed here many times and have loved our stay.
Jul 07, 2015
Very family friendly. Lots of activities for my boys.
Jul 07, 2015
Big overcrowded KOA with sewage problems BIG TIME in the Men's Rm. Stayed there one day before a cruise and 2 days after the cruise and bathrm still had problems! Good place if traveling from "here to there," but would not stay here again if looking for an authentic KOA experience.
Jul 07, 2015
The camp ground was very clean and staff very friendly. The camp ground was older and the spaces were very small to accommodate newer model RV's with multiple slide outs.
Jul 07, 2015
I had a problem with KOA shooting off fireworks and contaminating the pool during our stay. They also evicted a guest for setting off fireworks, then handed out to kids their left over fireworks without checking with their parents. The staff itself in the office were wonderful. I especially enjoyed talking with Pat, she was so helpful and nice!
Jul 07, 2015
Busy, but VERY kid friendly! Great 4th of July fireworks!
