Campground Reviews

Aug 19, 2015
Very crowded and disorganized. The WiFi was awful and of no use. There was no parking for my truck on my trailer site and my RV is only 26'. It was very quiet at night but I think we were lucky based on other comments. Not your typical KOA.

This park is not for big rigs. I made reservation on line for a backend sight big enough for our 38 ft. fifth wheel when we got there they gave us a pull through which just barely was enough for our camper. Had to park tow vehicle a block away. This park is not worth $64.00 a night. The park is false advertisement.

The restroomes are dirty. My dump pipeline (hohe) was stolen!!
Aug 18, 2015
It was so crowded they let people park everywhere even if it wasn't a campsite.
Aug 18, 2015
Disgustingly filthy restrooms. Completely mismanaged in that permanent live-in tenters are everywhere and large rv's are stuffed into tiny spaces. Swarms of Mosquitos & 24 hr traffic noise
Aug 18, 2015
Surprisingly quiet for as full as it was. Staff was cordial and helpful.
Aug 18, 2015
This place is just a glorified parking lot with picnic tables. The spots are so narrow that if two rigs both open their slideouts, you probably won't be able to walk between them. But it's really the only place for miles so if you have to be here, you deal with it.
Aug 18, 2015
The trailers were too close to each other that we could hear their conversations. The sewer dump for trailer next to us is right next to our picnic table. Should at least have a covered box. The front desk person (was wearing a blue bandana) did not acknowledge me. The employees looked a little disheveled with dirty shirts. Didn't seem to take pride in where they worked.
Aug 18, 2015
The campground is very crowded and spots are extremely tight. Needs more reguar maintaince and sites need more gravel or paving. It was very dusty. Good location to local transportation.

Unfortunately, I felt scammed. Paying close to 70$ to spend a night in a parking lot, and that was Luxury compared to the tent sites who were packed so tight from far it looked like a field is bubble rap. Never again Tacoma

For a very busy time of year & limited facilities in the area these people did a great job of keeping everyone happy our back in site had nothing behind us for as far as we could see great for us prairie dwellers
Aug 17, 2015
When we checked in they had us in the wrong site. I booked a 30amp site and they tried putting us in a 50amp. They assigned us to a 30amp and when we got there someone else was already in the site. we took the kids to the toys and there is people living in tents next to the playground. There was trash all over the playground the grass around the community fire pit was full of tents.
Aug 17, 2015
Overcrowded to the point of tripping over cords running to tents on the office lawn. Bathrooms need to be repaired. With the huge number of tent campers, the bathrooms were in a constant state of disarray. On a positive note, the activities were wonderful, the laundry room was well appointed, and the location is perfect for easy access to I-5.
Aug 17, 2015
No one answered the phone so it went to voice mail but all mail boxes were full. NO way to leave a message. Upon arrival, there were RV's camping where we were to park to register. The spaces were so close together, it was extremely difficult to get rigs in and out. There were tent campers on every inch of grass. Internet was a joke.
Aug 17, 2015
The site was very small and hard to get into even though we booked it with specific measurements of our trailer. All campers around us had a hard time getting into their spot. We liked the movie in the park with popcorn. Bathrooms were not very clean. An okay spot, very very busy.
Aug 17, 2015
Staff was friendly, food was great, facilities were clean. Enjoyed our stay.

Thanks
Aug 17, 2015
sites are very cramped, tenting site had no grass and was just dirt, it was clean but for the price would have chosen elsewhere
Aug 17, 2015
We asked to change to a site that was not taken yet but was not allowed, was told it had been reserved. We were not given a site # when I made the reservation. Why was the other customer given this option? or was the staff lying?
Aug 17, 2015
I always stay there when I bring my trailer to Seattle. I can reserve on line for the dates I want..it's very convienient.
Aug 16, 2015
Sites are crammed together, open your awning and touch your neighbor. Obviously built to maximize profit, most sites had RV's that were to long for the site making already skinny roads worse. Staff was not helpful, when I complained about the RV next to me running their generator next to my bedroom I was told that it wasn't too loud and I would just have to put up with it. Worst KOA ever.
Aug 16, 2015
Great location. Staff were courteous and helpful. The park is very compact and crowded but hey it's Seattle. Great bus and train connection to downtown. Quiet bike trails along the river.
Aug 16, 2015
EAsy to get to, quiet and the facilities were in good shape. Wi-Fi was functional and generally OK
Aug 16, 2015
Poorly managed, overbooked with people camping in the parking area and common grounds areas. Took 30 minutes to get off the street into the camp.
Aug 16, 2015
Excellent campground with hardworking staff, convenient location, free wifi.
Aug 16, 2015
Very cramped, spaces close together. 50 Amp sites only 40 feet long. With a 36 foot coach, dolly and car, had to park in visitor parking. Went to get ice on Sunday and there was none. Counter person said she was not authorized to make more ice. 3 hours later, still no ice. Tengo wifi a pain to log on. Only 12 cable channels. Dog run is OK. Main reason to stay here was location.
Aug 16, 2015
We had a great time and enjoyed ice cream social, tie dye tee shirt, and movie night!
Aug 16, 2015
Nice helpful staff and site is good except for placement of water hookups on these big sites. Limited cable channels and poor WiFi - worked better last year - expect good wifi for what you charge.
Aug 16, 2015
Good

Good and warm welcome
Aug 15, 2015
We camped among permanent locals in run Down campers and homeless people living in tents. The bathrooms and laundry were not clean.
Aug 15, 2015
Conditions in general were substandard for example: tent pad was full of large sharp rocks and recently spread fertilizer. The tent site was next to a trash collection area. The pool water was dirty. The washrooms were dirty. We have stayed in KOA's throughout the US and this was the worst conditions we have seen.
Aug 15, 2015
not where we planed to stay and accommodations were slim.
Aug 15, 2015
The campground looked like a homeless camp with people and tents on the main grassy area. the spots are to small and close together to handle the big rvs. the park should be cleaned up and not allow so many full time residents. The location to Seattle was the only thing good about the park. Our reservation was not done correctly and we didn't get the premium spot that the reservation center assign
Aug 15, 2015
Poorly managed. Not enough 50A sites. Put 30Amp units in 50Amp because they do not want to pay for cable.
Aug 15, 2015
I had a two night reservation, but the space assigned me was already occupied. So, I had to take a lower quality space in order to not relocate. The front desk person was nice, but it was not a good situation.
Aug 15, 2015
Good location. Spots a bit tight for the price. Camping overflow in the common area behind the registration office gave the place a 'refugee camp' look and feel. Wi-Fi is terrible, was not able to sign on at any time of the day.
Aug 14, 2015
I made a reservation in April for a 38 foot motor home with 50a hookup! When I arrived 4 months later I had slot that the motor home did not fit so couldn't get out until Monday at 10:00a and had a 30 amp service!! The worst I have ever been treated by KOA.
Aug 14, 2015
Mosquito heaven. Small and dirty, but the only game in town and they know it. Total mismanagement, we were woken up at 10:30 pm by park workers escorting a new arrival right next to us, who had to set up loudly of course. Filthy restrooms, broken plumbing, lip service cleaning, did I mention mosquitos?
Aug 14, 2015
When we want to enjoy Seattle we always stay at this KOA. Easy access to downtown fun. The pool is great. The wifi could be better and car parking is limited, but we will definitely return.
Aug 14, 2015
Poor customer service, we did not get the site we requested online, over crowded and small campsites. The good part was a nice pool and good location.
Aug 14, 2015
overpriced for being jammed into the campground. I stayed at a Good Sam which had plenty of room and we didn't feel like we were on top of other guests. Their fee was $39.00 while this KOA was $60.
Aug 13, 2015
Terrific staff. Helpful and friendly, especially dark haired young lady with glasses at desk. Awesome service.
Aug 13, 2015
The condition of the site we were in was less than satisfactory. No picnic table at our site, had to "borrow"one from another site near. The condition of the site itself was atrocious! It had not been cleaned or raked at all. There were bottlecaps, cigarette butts, some broken glass and paper garbage all along the asphalt pad and grass. lots of guys on golf carts, but no cleaning!
Aug 13, 2015
We travel extensively in a 40' Class A Coach this KOA is like a 3rd World Country. Having "KOA" associated with this park is not a plus. On top of everything else the folks running it are very disorganized.
Aug 13, 2015
We usually enjoy KOAs when we need a place to stop for the night, but this one was so packed to the brim it didn't feel like camping. Our tent site didn't have much room for our 2-person backpacking tent, and there was a streetlight-like lamp right next to it that shone in our tent all night. The upside is the showers were clean and we were able to walk 2 minutes to an open-space park.
Aug 13, 2015
Very clean and friendly. However, very crowded--did not care for septic drain under out picnic table--no place else to put the table due to tightness of spaces.
