Campground Reviews

Great staff. Spaces too close together. Might be time to redesign the park.

Great KOA! Friendly and helpful staff, a nice pool and clean restrooms! Thanks for the great stay!

Staff helpful and friendly, restroom facilities clean. Quick access to Seattle attractions. Lovely walking/biking trails and a park steps away from campground. Need hooks opin shower stalls to hang clothes

Clean staff friendly, and helpful. Paid extra $4 a day for cable very few channels, and cable channels had noise in the channel, all they said cable company suppose to be working on it,The pull thru's to small have 31ft MH and car had to find a place to park it wouldn't fit at sight. On top of all %52 a night price to high and pull thru on top of one another, a camp fire $19 had to rent fire ring!

So noisy from the road unbearable. Left a day early forfeiting the 57 dollars fee just to get out of there. Staff friendly. Place clean. Not worth it at all though

This was a great spot for visiting Seattle! It was a short drive into downtown! The park itself was really clean, quiet, and super nice staff! We also used the bike trail right at the park and it was a lot of fun!

For a campground in the city, it's pretty good. The sites near the forest are much better and more private. Make sure to ask for one of those. The girls who helped us didn't know what they were doing.

Perfect base to visit Seattle area without the headaches of traffic, thanks to the convenience of mass transit. Pool was the perfect place to unwind with our granddaughter after a busy day. Breakfast was tasty and affordable. KOA staff were all friendly and accommodating. Thanks.

Overall, the site was excellent. The staff were friendly, the facilities were clean and plentiful, and we enjoyed our stay.

Very tight pull thru sites. Too expensive for what it offers. Front office clerk didn't acknowledge my sontrying to buy candy. Ice cream social was good and inexpensive.

The voltage of the 30amp connector was low causing our microwave and toaster to not work properly.

Loved the pet playground, the pretty flowers-landscape and especially the heated pool

Nice helpful people. Young blonde boy for ice cream social was delightful.

People that work there are great. There is just not a whole lot of room for your RV and rig you pull it with. Pretty close together.
Jun 18, 2013
Sites are way too small for todays equipment
Jun 18, 2013
The staff was very cordial, facility clean, bright and comfortable, great location, close to Seattle and Tacoma, dog walk was appreciated.

Parking spots are not level and the roadway showed signs of disrepair: holes in road. I like KOA but maintaining the roadways and parking spots need attention. Staff was great.
Jun 17, 2013
Your staff in the front office, while trying to be helpful, could be trained to have better information on local/Seattle travel information.

Check in was terrible. Lost a reservation. Not helpful. Not well trained. New employees left in charge. Manager was not available. Worst KOA check in I've experienced ever.

For the price of this stay the value was very poor. The park was tight for a normal RV and there was very little parking, the roads were in need of re-surface. The store had some product, but mostly art. The overall place was in need of repair, and the per day coast was way to high.

We had a "premier" site that faced 2 "permanent" residents who had junk outside their old trailers and extra cars. It was difficult to back into our space because of a vehicle blocking the road.
Jun 15, 2013
A nice park. However, we asked for a shady site and were given the sunniest site in the park. Sites were roomy in our area, but ours was cramped and way too close to the next site. Apparently they use rig sizes to assign site sizes, but the price (high) is the same. This is unfair. I was supposed to receive a discount for making reservations on line, but I never saw any evidence of this.

Arrived and was given a weekly rate of $350. assigned a space of which when I drove to the spot I couldn't help but notice how small the spaces were at this KOA. Went in to extend my stay the following week and was told by the manager there is no weekly rates and I should pay by the month. There just isn't enough room to express my frustration. Worse camping experience ever.

The staff couldn't have been more helpful. We had an incredible family celebration for our new WA State Trooper and being able to use the day room to stay out of the rain, made all the difference. We will be back.

Great location for touring Seattle...very clean grounds with many beautiful flowers...

All spaces are so tight, you have to park your car on the grass. Some 'brain wave' set 2 different codes one for the Men's Restrooms and one for the Women's Restrooms. When my daughters went to the restroom the women's code did not work. They came back to the camper got the men's code and IT worked. This KOA cost more than most KOAs and it is the worst one I have ever visited. Why is it a KOA?

Everything about this park was good..Thank you

I was impressed by how friendly the entire staff was and how clean and well maintained the grounds were. I felt like the sites were a little tight...but since we were not spending a lot of time there because we were in the area to see family it worked great for us. Will definitely stay again if we are back in the area.

Close bus stop to Light Rail to downtown Seattle. Bike trail and park next door. An urban oasis.
Jun 11, 2013
No hot water; sites too small; service has really gone down at this KOA, I have stayed here a number of times in thee past three years. No drinks in the machines, "we just haven't gotten around to it yet" was the comment I got when asking about it.

We really like the location of this KOA - it's an easy trip to downtown Seattle, close to Southcenter Mall (shopping and theater)and easy to get back to when the day is done. The trailer/5th wheel spaces are short (40'). Our 5th wheel is 29' - we couldn't park at our space. Spaces are narrow, too. If you are a big rig, be sure to make sure they have an adequate spot for you.

Love KOA wherever I go, the only things that detracted for me were the state of the ladies' room, two out of four stalls not operational, the showers don't have shelves or enough hooks to put shower gear into. Last but not least, there were some nearby guests that were VERY loud and disruptive at 3am on our second night, and I could not perceive that anything was done about i

The only flaw I found was sites were a little tight with our three slides.
