Staff were very friendly and helpful with local and surrounding information. Site was awesome, great space and trees, Bathrooms were the best we've had camping, only negative was distance from our campsite. Wood was great, reasonably priced, delivered and we were provided with kindling.

Great site. Most of all-Excellent host in young man who was working that night. Didn’t get his name but may be a summer student. Fine young man who I’m sure will do well in life !!! Good job!

The showers and washroom was the highlight, very clean and well maintained. I came in pretty late, the checkin and direction to my site was clearly provided. Thanks a lot for making the stay very comfortable.

We travelled through Sault St Marie and decided to stay at the KOA. Beautiful, clean campground that had a sore perfect for our 1 night stay. Our 4 kids enjoyed the mini golf and play structure! It was difficult to leave there. Thank you!

Our site was conveniently located within sight of the bathroom. It was also the cut-thru path (on both sides) for many campers beyond us.

Other than getting chastised by Aunt Joanie within 5 minutes of arriving for not securing our dog to the right spot while leaving him outside as required while getting token's for the laundry, it was good. They have signs and rules for EVERYTHING else except where to secure your dog while using the office, laundry or bathrooms.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Guests are asked NOT to tie their dogs to our cigarette disposals, which are tall, metal objects and can tip over, scaring or injuring the dog. There is a dog tie-out in several locations around the building, which are self explanatory.

This is our 2nd time @ Sault Ste Marie KOA.Took a family trip frm Manitoba to New Brunswick. On the way East, we stayed here the 1st time & loved it. So much that on the way back West, we stayed for 2 nights so the kids could swim, play GAGA ball & mini golf. Some reviews complain about rules, but honestly, the staff cares about and looks after the facilities. Highly recommend. We’ll be back!

It was the best campground we stayed at. Lots of fun things to do on site, like mini golf, pan for rocks and fossils, rent a pedal buggy and we even got to see dogs traning for a show. Showers are nice and free, and they have a nice kitchen area where you can cook and clean dishes. I highly recommend it! We will be coming back for sure.

Excellent stay! There were so many amenities and everything was very clean and organized. The owners clearly take pride in their space. We also loved the dog play areas!

This was our first time ever at a KOA and wow. Blown away. Are they all like this? Incredible. So much so that on our way back to Manitoba we might stay an extra night! Beautiful location. The campsite was fantastic. All the amenities you could possibly want!

Tent campgrounds weren't as private as I would have hoped. I'm used to Backcountry. However, staff were friendly, amenities plentiful, clean campground, easy to check in. I would stay in one again if I chose to do so.

Signs along entry road are negative instead of welcoming. Recycling bins disappeared when they were needed; they were, probably, being emptied and cleaned at the time.

Everyone was so kind and we enjoyed all the amenities and sparkling clean bathrooms! Our child loved the gem / mineral sluicing station especially.

Loved our quick stay! The weather was hot but the pool was cool! My kiddo loved the playground, and the whole campground was clean, beautiful, and we look forward to our next time there!

Although it was early in the season this site was excellent. The sand pad was great for our tent and we were glad to have electricity and water. The camping kitchen was awesome.

Sites are not private at all and quite small, but we went in September, so more sites were empty, thus we had empty sites to either side of us, affording some privacy! The bathrooms were very clean and not crowded at all!

Nice decent sized campsites but the showers are fabulous. Lots of pressure and hot water. The washroom and shower area were spotless. This is the best we have seen at KOA campgrounds in the USA and in Canada including Provincial Campgrounds. The other nicety is this campground is far away from the highway and very quiet, not like a Provincial Campground about an hour away.

Terrific RV and tent campground. Owners and staff are very friendly and professional. The campground is well maintained and has lots to offer for adults and children. The washrooms and showers are clean and are closed for an hour daily to allow for major cleaning by the staff. They accommodated our ´big rig' (with advanced booking) and (as always) were most helpful during our latest stay. We make this an annual stop. This year we went specifically to enjoy the colours of the fall and were rewarded with spectacular displays. We stayed for 10 nights. The campground parameters and schedules are well laid out and following them makes for a most enjoyable stay. This park is dog friendly and we appreciate the folks that follow the pet guidelines. We highly recommend this campground - it's in a terrific location close to town amenities (10 minute drive). There is some faint highway noise and a few trains - far less than most of the campgrounds that we have stayed in - certainly didn't disturb our sleeping.
