Lots of nice walking areas for me and my dog. Bathrooms were always clean. We were always greeted warmly by any employees. Also we have never pre booked our stays but always luck in to find a KOA when our traveling day is done. Visited this park in late Sept, fall colors and this park is just beautiful with fall colors. Nice location, very easy to get into sites. Great location for site seeing in area. Friendly staff and very clean bathrooms. Thank you.

Beautiful large trees lots and great facilities! The campground was off the main roads so it was quiet and peaceful.

Nice campground and quiet. The site was perfect for us but the number one reason for our score was the clean shower/bathroom area. Strong water pressure with overhead rainfall type shower head, it was spotless and they even had background music playing quietly. Oh, NO additional charge for wifi.

Very nice. Nice big site. The only downside was that the septic connection is way back at the end of the site and I couldn’t reach it. If I hadn’t been towing it probably would have been ok.

Traveling alone in a B class RV in the off season, I was pleased to find the campground still open. Surrounded by an incredible forest of maple trees my campsite was spacious and very scenic. Newly arriving campers were placed at a distance [by accident or planned, I don't know] but the extra space was appreciated. The natue trails were sufficiently easy for a senior and I walked all of them. Thx.

Bill and Joan are the perfect hosts. They, and the staff, are both friendly and professional. The campground is very well maintained - the washrooms, showers etc are very clean. The parameters and schedules for a pleasant stay are well laid out - reading and following them allows everyone to have a most enjoyable experience at this terrific KOA. We highly recommend this park.

Beautiful weekend, quiet campground, gorgeous Fall colours in the park, staff friendly and accommodating. Areas clean, and well prepped. Wish we could have stayed longer. But we'll return next year.

The fact that we were put on a site that wouldn't fit our rig and truck. When we gave the true measurements. And that our one wheel was turned onto a bit of grass one time and told we need to drop our tailgate and back under. When others were completely on the grass and not told to move. I thought was a bit overboard.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Guest's 36' unit was parked on a site that is 65' in length. Guests need to leave room for their tow vehicle when parking and disconnecting, rather than parking in the centre of the site.

Campground is well taken care of. Dog agility park is great for my dogs. Friendly staff and excellent service. Best campground we have ever been to.

Traveling on the Lake Superior Circle Tour. Great accommodations for our purpose. Although we have no children with us on this trip, very kid friendly park.

Very nice park, well maintained. We were Just spending one night, travelling thru, so hoping not to have to disconnect our tow vehicle, but they put us on pull thru lot that was too short, even though longer pull thru sites were empty. Oh well...

All 50 amp spots were booked that night. This site was 65' in length.

As newb's to the RV world, we were grateful for a kind staff. A clean and well kept campground. A environment that almost caters to any dog, & Cali Alley Cat. That is important to us. Great shopping near by. We stayed 2 weeks, used laundry facility, again clean and everything worked. Owners and staff are 1st class. We had a great stay and will be back. Thank you. Beautiful Campground close to everything but very quiet. The grounds are nice...I see people working all the time. The washrooms very clean, nice showers and everything you need. I like that they escort you to your site. Highly recommend this campground.

Very nice park. Lots of trees between some of the sites for privacy, Quiet after 10 so we were well rested for the next days drive.

What a gem!!! We booked 3 nights on a deluxe campsite with patio, bbq, and outdoor patio set & swing (pull through with 50amp/water/sewer. The site was a good size. The park has lots of amenities including a RV wash, miniature golf and a dog agility course to name a few. The fall colours were well underway. We will recommend this campground to friends and family. Can’t wait to go back!!

This is a great park. Of the highway and very quiet. The after hours check-in was great. With clear directions to our campsite. We stayed 2 nights. The only bad thing we found was wen I asked to use the big fenced in dog area. To throw a ball for my dog so he could get some exercise. After being cooped up in our vehicle. I was told that that area was for Agility dogs only. So no exercise.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

There are two fully-fenced off-lead dog parks available for everyone to use. Kamp K-9 has small agility obstacles, and Rover's Run is a large area for dogs to run around. The agility area is separate, and is for dogs/handlers familiar with the equipment; we don't want anyone getting hurt.

Nice decent sized campsites but the showers are fabulous. Lots of pressure and hot water. The washroom and shower area were spotless. This is the best we have seen at KOA campgrounds in the USA and in Canada including Provincial Campgrounds. The other nicety is this campground is far away from the highway and very quiet, not like a Provincial Campground about an hour away.

Terrific RV and tent campground. Owners and staff are very friendly and professional. The campground is well maintained and has lots to offer for adults and children. The washrooms and showers are clean and are closed for an hour daily to allow for major cleaning by the staff. They accommodated our ´big rig' (with advanced booking) and (as always) were most helpful during our latest stay. We make this an annual stop. This year we went specifically to enjoy the colours of the fall and were rewarded with spectacular displays. We stayed for 10 nights. The campground parameters and schedules are well laid out and following them makes for a most enjoyable stay. This park is dog friendly and we appreciate the folks that follow the pet guidelines. We highly recommend this campground - it's in a terrific location close to town amenities (10 minute drive). There is some faint highway noise and a few trains - far less than most of the campgrounds that we have stayed in - certainly didn't disturb our sleeping.
