This is the nicest KOA we've been to in 20 years of RV traveling. Great amenities, nice, helpful owners and staff, all in a beautiful setting.

Very pleasant, really enjoyed the opportunity to wash our Motorhome after our arrival. Nice option, everything else was greart including the Dog Agility competition we watched.

KOA at the Soo was spectacular. Accommodated our late arrival, communicated quickly and in a very friendly manner. Site was immaculate and beautifully located

Unless you have a dog, they don’t care about serving you. Bought wood and had to struggle to get it to my campsite. They seem to be nice people, but didn’t feel like we mattered. Never used restroom or showers. Not sure if there was a pool or not.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Sorry that you felt that way. All our guests are important to us, and matter. Due to a shortage of staff, we are unable to deliver firewood, and ask that guests take the bundle to their site on our hand cart. We do have a heated pool.

We have stayed at your KOA now 4 times and enjoy returning. The showers are outstanding. The staff are friendly and take the time to clearly explain or show our location in the campground, and the rules and times. Always spotlessly clean grounds and facilities.

Excellent place to stay, especially if you have a pet. Three areas for dogs and a few trails to walk them in the trees. Nice size pull-thru sites. Very quiet and near gas stations and grocery stores.

Great , beautiful, park. But felt that dog owners who do the shows / testing runs are clients number 1, rest is 2.

Very nice place to setup out RV. The grounds are clean and well organized. Emma was very friendly and helpful, always a smile for everyone.

Had we known you were unhappy with your site, we would have done our very best to accommodate your request. Unfortunately, as you waited until you had left the park to express your displeasure, there is nothing now that we can do to make your stay more enjoyable.

great KOA campground and park very well kept. Community washrooms and shower area very clean and up to date. If time would have permitted would have stayed longer. Will return.

Everything as there. all services great large showers.Pool clean washrooms very clean. Lots were easy to back into. Whole camp was well treed and manicured. Best spot ever stayed this season.Best KOA to date.

Beautiful park. Our stay was very nice. Park is very clean, nicely treed and nice grassy sites. The only issue I had is, we had booked for 3 days over a long weekend and our RV broke down at the previous KOA and we were unable to move it to the Sault Ste Marie KOA site until a technician was able to come and get our slide back in. We were charged the full price for 3 days.

Even though this reservation was cancelled on the day of arrival on a long weekend, as a courtesy we offered this guest a three day reservation once his RV was repaired, but he only wanted to stay for one.

One of the most beautiful campgrounds we’ve visited and customer service (ex. escorting us to our site, delivering firewood) was the best we’ve ever received at a campground. All the employees were so friendly and welcoming. Next time, we’ll add a day to our trip so we can enjoy all the amenities of the campgrounds.

We stay at a lot of KOAs. This one is easily among the best we’ve been to. Beautiful setting, great facilities and sites, pleasant staff. We heartily recommend it!

Very pleasant and relaxing campground. Bill, Joan and staff are excellent hosts. The facilities are outstanding. If you can’t find entertainment at this resort, you didn’t get out of your rig.

Too crowded/close together sites. Literally had people sitting around an active fire within 10’ of our rig. Smoke was terrible had to close all windows and doors. Sewer cap recessed into concrete couldn’t get standard adapter to fit. So paid for full hook ups but could only use electric and water. Park was clean and staff friendly.

The young ladies at the office were very helpful getting us sorted out on arrival. While we didn't get to enjoy all the facilities (my son and I were there for a baseball tournament and we were at our trailer only to sleep), the place was very well laid out and well-maintained. Also, the other guests were quiet -- which was a big plus! Thank you. If we're ever back in The Soo, we'll be back!

Service was excellent, facilities were excellent, all of our neighbours also seemed happy campers, beautiful scenery and they have most cleanest camp bathrooms we’ve ever seen, anywhere.

Nice decent sized campsites but the showers are fabulous. Lots of pressure and hot water. The washroom and shower area were spotless. This is the best we have seen at KOA campgrounds in the USA and in Canada including Provincial Campgrounds. The other nicety is this campground is far away from the highway and very quiet, not like a Provincial Campground about an hour away.

Terrific RV and tent campground. Owners and staff are very friendly and professional. The campground is well maintained and has lots to offer for adults and children. The washrooms and showers are clean and are closed for an hour daily to allow for major cleaning by the staff. They accommodated our ´big rig' (with advanced booking) and (as always) were most helpful during our latest stay. We make this an annual stop. This year we went specifically to enjoy the colours of the fall and were rewarded with spectacular displays. We stayed for 10 nights. The campground parameters and schedules are well laid out and following them makes for a most enjoyable stay. This park is dog friendly and we appreciate the folks that follow the pet guidelines. We highly recommend this campground - it's in a terrific location close to town amenities (10 minute drive). There is some faint highway noise and a few trains - far less than most of the campgrounds that we have stayed in - certainly didn't disturb our sleeping.
