Very clean, well maintained grounds. Bath house facilities spotless. Check in staff friendly, professional & eager to assist. We visited prior to the holiday weekend, so not a lot of campers there yet. Quiet setting with plenty of area to walk/exercise.

It's always a clean, quiet and convenient stop on the way through the Soo. Best part is dogs are always welcome and this stay there wasn't a single campfire going this time so everyone could enjoy open windows and clean fresh northern air.

This KOA was nearly empty upon arrival and remained lightly occupied for the 5 days we were there on a pull through "deluxe patio" lot. It was anything but pull through because we had to back out. This KOA has too many boulders all over. Worse yet was the lot next to us had that unit's slide only 4 feet (1.2 m,) from our bedroom slide. There was no reason for this as many lots were vacant.

Stayed 3 days. Was a clean, spacious and quiet campground with lots to do. Would stay there again and highly recommend it.

The campground is well maintained and has many on-site actives such as a pool, mini-golf, and two off-leash dog areas. The staff were very helpful. Everything was spotless especially the washroom/showers. The sites were gravel and the full hook-up connections all worked well. This is a very good campground.

Although it was early in the season this site was excellent. The sand pad was great for our tent and we were glad to have electricity and water. The camping kitchen was awesome.

We stayed in a deluxe site with a patio and a gas grill and it was lovely! Showers are very clear and user friendly and I liked the outdoor kitchen which I used to do dishes. I hope that we will find our way back there!

Where do I begin?? My spot was upgraded when I arrived and met with three friendly smiles! My check in was so quick and easy and got shown my site. Spot was simply amazing, lots of trees, the hooks ups were close and well maintained. The store was stocked with lots of choices. The camp showers and bathrooms were immaculate. And a ton of games and activities and all in good condition.

1st KOA stay ever! Other KOA Members we spoke with told us not to get excited about KOA overall as this park was the nicest campground they had ever stayed at. Staff exceptional, even helped us secure a Dog Walker while we were in the area so we could get out on activities.

We were there only for a night on our way between Quebec and Alberta, but we took good note to come back and spend more time. Everything was impeccable.

Not all KOA"S are the same. Saulte Ste Marie KOA was exceptional. Well maintained campgrounds with clean showers. We only used the Campground as our main base. In the future I would like to take advantage of the other amenities available at KOA campgrounds. Please keep the rates reasonable and and the property maintained. It's very disapointing to pull into a poorly kept campground.

The owner/operator was very helpful with ensuring we fit on the site. Great wifi Only downside is no guests are allowed.

The park is very well maintained and the kids loved the park being so close which was fantastic. I wish we were on a more private lot being that the park was quite empty during our stay. There is really no privacy. We were between two cabins that were vacant but if they were occupied it would have been uncomfortable

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Guest reserved a back in 50 amp full hook up site. There is only one in the park and it is between our two deluxe cabins. Guests are encouraged to refer to the site map prior to making reservations so that we can best meet their expectations.

We had a lovely spot. I liked how there were trees between the sites for privacy. Showers and laundry were clean. In fact the whole park was. Only downfall is you hear traffic noises. The price you pay for convenient access to the "Soo". We would stay here again. It was our first experience with KOA. LOVED IT.

Nice decent sized campsites but the showers are fabulous. Lots of pressure and hot water. The washroom and shower area were spotless. This is the best we have seen at KOA campgrounds in the USA and in Canada including Provincial Campgrounds. The other nicety is this campground is far away from the highway and very quiet, not like a Provincial Campground about an hour away.

Terrific RV and tent campground. Owners and staff are very friendly and professional. The campground is well maintained and has lots to offer for adults and children. The washrooms and showers are clean and are closed for an hour daily to allow for major cleaning by the staff. They accommodated our ´big rig' (with advanced booking) and (as always) were most helpful during our latest stay. We make this an annual stop. This year we went specifically to enjoy the colours of the fall and were rewarded with spectacular displays. We stayed for 10 nights. The campground parameters and schedules are well laid out and following them makes for a most enjoyable stay. This park is dog friendly and we appreciate the folks that follow the pet guidelines. We highly recommend this campground - it's in a terrific location close to town amenities (10 minute drive). There is some faint highway noise and a few trains - far less than most of the campgrounds that we have stayed in - certainly didn't disturb our sleeping.
