From the friendly, helpful, and welcoming office manager to the very well maintained grounds I highly recommend the Sanger location. The two dog parks were clean, catch and release pond was great as were the other amenities. I’ll be returning to this location.

this campground is so nice. clean and tidy ... restrooms and laundry area are great as well. we just spent 4 nights here while in the north Texas area for the Nascar races at TMS and we had no issues at all. dog parks were clean and convenient as well. we will definitely come back again next year :)

This is the nicest “journey” campground I’ve ever stayed at. With slight upgrades, it could become a “holiday” campground. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area. Great job

We were disappointed in this KOA. It is basically a huge parking lot. The showers are in industrial buildings, and no green space around pool or playground. We had planned to have family there for cookout but cancelled those plans because the property was so I inviting. Doesn’t compare to other KOA journeys where we have stayed.

I mainly used this site to keep my trailer while I stayed at my daughters. Expensive but I felt my trailer was safe there. People there very friendly and helpful.

I spent a free night there courtesy of McClains RV after purchasing a travel trailer. The facility was clean and quiet with good hookups. I checked in after hours and it was very easy.

Short overnight stay. campground is clean and no issues with the utilities. wifi coverage was improved compared to my stay there in November of last year. My reservation packet was taped to the office door and all information was correct). I will definitely stay there again.

Very clean facility and nice. The angle of the spaces very high on one end did make the stay a little uncomfortable. Difficult to balance front to back.

Friendly staff. Nice long spaces. Very roomy park. Our site wasn’t very level and there were no outdoor tables (we had one thankfully). It looks like they spent a ton of $$ on paving the sites which are plentiful. The gravel sites seem to be for staff and full timers. Nice dog areas. Yes, I’d stay again.

I’ve stayed at this KOA quite a few times. Even before it was a KOA. It’s a great location, well maintained, level sites and friendly staff. Easy to get into and out of.

If your just passing through it is a great place to stay. Recommendation is to plant more trees otherwise it’s clean, well maintained with good level sites. Except for the highway and occasional train (hardly noticeable inside my camper) it was quite. I liked that even though it was labor day the campground didn’t have a lot of traffic.

If your staying in a tent it's noisey,with the frwy very close ,and maintenance building with air compressor always running..it's a nice koa

This is a huge KOA, concrete pads, a little patch of grass. Very clean. The sites are large. You get a picnic table, no fire pit or grill. The bathrooms and showers are extremely clean, roomy. It's like you get your own personal bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet I loved it! Lots of hooks, shelves and benches to put your stuff. The laundry room was clean. My only complaint was no money changer, so we had to go back the next day when the office was open to get quarters. The outdoor pool was closed for the season. There's not a lot to do. I didn't see a playground, I did see a basketball hoop. It's kind of like a big flat field with concrete slabs..Which was fine. We were there to see the eclipse. The campground was packed, but very quiet. The office, the bathrooms are a bit of a walk from the campsites. We had to drive. I would stay here again.

Love staying here in our fifth wheel when traveling through. The park is bigger, very clean, and peaceful scenery. Wide concrete roads and lanes. A brand new Valero across the highway has all amenities - truck pumps are wide and front pumps large enough to accommodate RVs as well. Traildust steakhouse is 3 miles away for an excellent meal after a day of travelling.
