Great Park. Will be perfect when the pool is done and the wifi works

Packed in like sardines, other guests were stripping nearby sites of tables and gliders, so we had to change our site 3 times. Also, quarry smell was putrid in the middle of the night and a train went by every 15 minutes or so.

Awesome as always.

Railroad tracks about 2 blocks from camp grounds, with trains blowing their horns every block and about every 2 hours. Other campers partying til about 3:30am about 25' away while we were up til 1 and planning to get up at 8am.Then there are the thefts that stole our fire wood that was at our porch and left overs in the fire pit.

Again we had a great stay. All the staff we spoke with were very friendly.

We stayed in one of the cabins: beware, they have coffee makers but you need to bring your own coffee filters. Overall, it was nicer than a hotel room for about the same price

We had a very nice stay.we enjoyed the view of the lake

Everything was perfect! 😁 Thank you!!

The cabin was nice but the bed was pretty uncomfortable

Very Great! Nice pool, not busy at all so it made for a very quiet stay. Campground was very clean. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Close to Cedar Point!

Staff very friendly. Kept us in the loop about upcoming storm activity in the area. Told us about the best storm locations on the grounds.

enjoyed our stay. Nice and clean. Close to cedar point.

Very nice campground! They are in the process of making some nice improvements. The only suggestion I would have is to make an enclosed dog area. We were nervous about some previous comments about safety and noise, but it was very quiet and the friendly staff patrolled often to make sure all was well. We would definitely go back, and would recommend this campground for any visitors to this area.

Thanks

My family and I rented the KOA deluxe 2 bedroom cabin for the weekend and were very happy with the cabin. I wasn't expecting the little touches such as dish soap, hand soap, TP and cooking supplies which were great! The prices at the campground store were very reasonable. The atmosphere was quite and my kids loved renting the peddle bikes. I look forward to coming back in August.

Great location, Horrible customer service! If you are looking for a convenient park near Cedar Point, you found it, but don't expect professional conduct for the teenagers at the front desk. Raise a concern about a botched reservation, you get smirks rather than listen and offer a constructive solution...Word to the wise, confirm your reservation by calling ahead.

Parking is way too close together. If this was my first KOA I would never do it again. Too much $ for no privacy.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The site you were on holds up to 70ft, a 22ft should have had no issues, sorry you found some. We have bigger sites available that have a lot more privacy located on our campground. Sorry that you had a bad experience with us. GM

Rustic cabin not clean. Restroom and showers not clean when we used them. Very noisy. Very displeased. My card company is issuing me a refund thank goodness. Cabins and tent areas too compact in my opinion. Staff friendly. No privacy between tent sites. Railway is too close and loud.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Rustic cabins are spaced pretty good,More space could always be better.Cotton wood is very bad this time of season,if it was not that did you notify the front desk? Many possible option if we new.We do not control the train sorry. Our 200+tent sites, space could of been worked out sorry 4 bad stay GM

Do not stay here. Overall the stay was very poor. Lo water pressure and no hot water in showers. The Jump pillow was never open. You had to ask to have it turned on. Took as long as an hour for someone to turn it on. Camp store ice cream said to be open to 9:00 pm. Walk in at 8:45 and it was closed. Gem mining never open. Fishing lake gate was locked except for 1 day out of our 4 day stay.

Good place to stay

Lot's to do for my child. Very friendly staff, and a clean cabin!
Jun 14, 2016
We stayed in a very nice cabin. Everything was great, shiny and new - EXCEPT - the sheets didn't fit the bed. Even asked for a different set and they didn't fit either. Luckily we had something that we could use.
Jun 14, 2016
The lot was very loud, next to road and the train. The beds were very uncomfortable. There were no curtains, toilet handle was broken, and the carpet has stains on the floor. The jumping pillow was not blown up and the basketball courts were being poured.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

we have no control over that, We don't have tempurpedic sorry.Yes we don't have curtains but we do have blinds on ever window?Toilet handle is a easy fix if it was reported,Stains we are aware of,Jump Pillow could of been turned on if asked in the office.Basketball court is new and being set up. GM

exceeded expectations

Koa staff very friendly. Felt very safe. There was always someone in the guard shack.
Jun 13, 2016
great location very close to Cedar Point. The only drawback, the pool closes at 9pm, after a long day at the park or out at the beach, very disappointing to have the pool close so early. Keeping it open till 11pm or so would have been nice, it was 90 degrees on Saturday, coming back to swim at 930 would have been awesome, very disappointed to find out the pool clsoed at 9pm. Great place to stay
Jun 13, 2016
Great place to stay close to Cedar Point!
Jun 13, 2016
Train was close to cabin it actually shook it at night. Other than that everything was great about the stay.
Jun 13, 2016
Everything was wonderful from the activities to the amenities. Even though we got the smallest cabin, we felt right at home. The staff were always there for any of our needs and friendly and respectful. The amenities were well-kept and as advertised. The grounds were quiet and quaint. We will definitely be back!
Jun 13, 2016
Your campground is very nice and very close to Cedar Point! There were a few late night drunk people that sort of drove us nuts though.

Great staff! We had a nice time.
Jun 13, 2016
Great stay, one night only!!
Jun 13, 2016
Nice campground. Very clean. Would choose a different site next time just due to night lighting.
Jun 13, 2016
I loved all the resources this KOA had, but the pool and our cabin could have been a little cleaner. There were a lot of bugs on our front porch, there was garbage in the bin and the cabin looked like it had been closed for awhile, dusty. Lots of bugs in the pool too. However I loved the fact they had one, lots of amenities in the office and the pedal carts were fun! Building a new pool too!

Clean and accommodating

Clean place easy to navigate

Quick one night stay.
Jun 13, 2016
While the staff were very friendly this campground is not a great stay, especially if you are using a park model. The sites are too close together, extremely noisy and someone also decided to use lawn equipment which happened at 10:30pm, it was considered before quiet hour. The people who appear to live at the KOA had foul language and loud music which made each campfire night less than enjoyable.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I have addressed the issue with the seasonal campers staying next to you and are sorry for the troubles you had with you stay.
Jun 13, 2016
We stayed in a cabin (trailer). The one-car restriction is outrageous. You promote 6-8 person cabins but only allow one car. The others have to park 150 feet away. Not good. The trailer campsites are also way too small. Not good design. Will never stay here again.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

It's 1 car restriction on the lodging,You stayed in R6 and are literately 50ft from overflow parking in your area just fyi on that is shows you on our site map, We are addressing the spacing each year one section at a time. Its unfortunate to loose you as a camper, sorry you had a bad stay. GM
Jun 13, 2016
Looked nothing like it looked like on the internet. It was basically a trailer park for year round campers. A few of the campers looked like hoarders lived there....& the "residents" were not very friendly to "share" the area. The pool was dirty, floaty bandaides, bugs, just gross. I don't think the filter was working. On a positive note. The staff was very nice & breakfast was great.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We have many different sections of the campground so sorry for your outlook on the section you stayed in. The pool has a lot of traffic and things happen, but can be fixed if notified. We have muffle-head and Mayfly season and can not control them (week of them) and its cotton wood season.Sorry GM
