This KOA was one of our first experiences in RV’ing and we always enjoy our stay. It is obvious they care about the families, the owners are constantly upgrading sites and adding new amenities! Thank you and keep up the great work!

Our kids had the time of their lives. From swimming, to face-painting, to rock climbing to riding bikes and playing at the park they enjoyed every second of it. What a great first experience at a KOA!

San Francisco North/Petaluma KOA is one of our favorite places to camp. The campground staff is very kind and helpful!! The campground itself is very well maintained! There are lots of fun activities to do for the kids and we always have a great time!! We will definitely be back!!

Very nice stay. As a full time RV'er traveling with dogs we look for a few key things. 1. Internet good internet in the area for work. 2. Dog park and areas to walk them. 4. Things to due in the area (San Fransico Day trip). 5. Park was clean, and the staff was friendly, and the site were a size. 5 Price was very good price for this KOA.

Beauiful and clean sites we should have stayed longer cuz this has been the best site on our road trip. Next year coming back and staying a week bringing back friends and family.

We had an awesome site - 100. We were surprised that instead of sewer hookups a person came every morning to pump out our tanks. This was great until we realized we couldn’t do a final flush… They do have a dump station but no way to connect a hose to do a flush… When we got home a had to flush with our hose and then haul in 20 gallons of effluent into our toilet…yuck. Nous sommes arrivés à 20 pm. Tout était fermé : pas de laverie, pas d’office, impossible d’entretenir le camping car… bref très très cher pour aucun service.

Overall it was a great stay but there were a few things that would have made it better. The sewer openings were so tall that it is difficult to dump when the hose has to be uphill. Also, some definition about what/where each area is. When booking online I could t find descriptions and just picked an area. We ended up right next to the playground and screaming kids. I was very appreciative of the staff being available and willing to assist and handle questions. They were very friendly and I never felt that I was bothering them. The sites were also excellent and spacious. I have already booked another stay since everything was handled so well.

Site was not level. Trees needed to be trimmed in my pull thru RV site. Cable TV did not work. Did not work for my mother who stayed two days prior. Lots of children running around and extremely loud after midnight. A horrible value for $125!

This Petaluma location is awesome! We have young grand kids and they loved all of the activities for them and the family. Well landscaped, clean and upgraded everything! We’ve come here for years and plan on many more.

The resort is gorgeous, huge, and they have tons of things to do. We can’t wait to stay again. It’s probably the most beautiful KOA we’ve ever stayed at, so I highly recommend. Also; staff were fantastic and kind.

You advertise Wi-Fi. I was unable to use it. The staff did try but no solution was found. I asked for full hook ups but was given a spot with a pumping service. Did not fit my time frame was was very gross to say the least.

Nice campground. Very busy in summer. Need to police electric scooter zipping around park day and night. Horseshoe pits under power lines need to be relocated. Good food and ice cream social. Very accommodating.

Our site was dirty, especially the patio itself (with several greasy, sticky spills), the wooden settee (covered with bird poop and gunk) and the wrought iron table (glitter paint and glue). This was our 3rd July trip and while the overall beauty is hard to beat, it feels more and more crowded with RC cars, scooters and other motorized vehicles whizzing around. Very disappointing especially for $$

I have stayed at the Petaluma Koa several times and it has always been a pretty good experience but this year was very different. We had a couple different campers around us with dogs that constantly barked when outside. Really early in the morning until they went to bed. The dogs would bark and bark. I don't have a problem with dogs as I have some but this was over the top and just rude.

Which place was awesome! It was way better than expected. Kids had a blast so much to do. Everything was so convenient - the store, the food truck, the pool, the petting zoo, the hay ride. The employees were awesome. They were so helpful and polite.

Great kids amenities and nice grounds. Terrible WiFi supposedly only for emails, no streaming, but you can't even connect to their network.

Overall impressed with campground. Very friendly and helpful staff, the amenities were great. It was pretty crowded which is to be expected but also surprisingly quiet at night. Will return for sure.

We have stayed here several times. Always a pleasure! Communication is the best. We were there during a power outage and they kept everyone aware of progress. We’ll be back again next near.

95% of staff were terrific esp. Kate, friendly, professional & helpful. The park itself is beautiful/well maintained. Somehow the leash regulation ignored by some. Unsettling /frightening. We were there for the no power/water. Not handled well at all. One male staffer very rude. Office closed with no info. I would like to talk to someone about this.

No power or water due to utility pole accident down the road. We did not get any advance notice but were told when we arrived. Basically a take it or leave it situation. We had just traveled 400 miles and had no where else to go. No, we will not return to this KOA or recommend it to others.

The power and water were out because someone ran their trailer into a power pole on Stony Point Road. I thought that the Petaluma kOA handled the situation quite well and we totally understand that things happen! But when we were trying to sleep at 10 p.m., the employees who live behind our site A14 were having a very loud party. I get needing to let off some steam, but really, be considerate!!

Everyone was helpful. Answered all our questions. Campsites were clean except people left dog poop and did not clean it up. Restrooms were clean. Many activities for everyone especially the kids to do.

We have stayed here before in the winter. Everything was green, and no dust. This time this price had gone up $40.00. For $160.00 a night I expect to have green grass at my site, and the site itself should be nicer. We will not be going back. We are not going to pay that much for campsite that just mediocre at best.

The park has an awkward check in system. The propane station can't accomodate on board tanks. There is no room for your Motorhome. The so called grassy areas are filled with stickers that get into the dogs fur. If you don't need a "resort" rv park, don't stay here. Not worth the money.

Would have been a 5 Star stay had it not been for the Ant infestation that occurred in our unit while staying here. Not sure where/how so many got into our unit but it was crazy. Short of that, this resort is A1 and 5-Star all the way around. So much going on and the facilities are 1st class and up there with the best KOA’s we’ve stayed at. It’s Pricey but I would not hesitate to book here a

You always know what to expect with the Petaluma KOA. Every detail is looked after. The place is always clean, the staff is always very friendly, and there is always something fun happening. Steve is an all around amazing ambassador to the fun. Andrea and Madeline in the office are very accommodating and friendly, and Mike is always sure to make the place safe and comfortable for all.

The site we were in was nice except for the constant smell of sewer games. It's cleathe septic/sewer system is well over capacity. Nor sure I would come back. Also glad my site was not next to the pool area, what a disaster, it was like being at a concert, music was blasting. Don't go camping to go to a concert.

This is our 4th year in a row and they never disappoint!! Lots of activities for the grandkids to do and several events/activities in the local area! We've been here pre-covid as well and still the kids love coming here!! See you again next year!!

Wir haben mit unserem Wohnmobil die letzten 3 Tage unseres Urlaubes dort verbracht. Es war phantastisch, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Saubere und schöne Badezimmer. Toller Service, vor allem beim Full Hook Up und beim Liefern des Feuerholzes. Auch im Office waren alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Platz liefert viel Ruhe und Erholung, das Schwimmbad mit Whirlpool sind super. Die Aussicht auf die Berge und die Weide waren wirklich toll. Danke für alles.
