Loved the amenities and the clean sites! However, major concern with the speeding of vehicles and e-bikes. Felt very unsafe with my children playing in the campground.

The campground is beautiful and very well cared for. Very close to all attractions in the San Diego area. We enjoyed our stay!

This is one of the most attractive KOAs we have seen and we travel cross county quite a bit. This is not quiet camping deep in the woods or alone in the desert but for a family looking to entertain children that aren’t ready to venture out exploring on their own, there is a lot of fun to be found here.

Good place for families. Lots of kids and activities. Unfortunately the thousands of blackbirds will keep us from coming back. Our 45 ft diesel pusher was full of bird poop. $225 dollars to have it washed. Another $175 to have it washed again in Yuma after we left. If you stay there keep away from the 50 amp sites in front of the pool area. Pads are full of crap as well.Trees need to be trimmed

Great location to all the attractions in San Diego. Clean and well organized. Beside the highway I thought it would be very noisy but never really noticed anything at night.

Very well kept, lots of staff working. No issues with site. Wish the weather was better to enjoy the pools etc. good location. Clean washrooms, great for group camping, lots of options to camp, tent, Rv, cabin, park model etc. cool place!

Always a GREAT TIME at KOA Chula Vista! The staff are always so kind. Would love to rate Leiana and Kimmy for their amazing kindness with our grandkids! IN fact, all the staff were great with the kids, but it was especially perfect when they remembered the grandkids names :)

The property is beautiful and well maintained with the exception of the showers. They are VERY clean, and spacious, but had a few failing shower heads that seemed to dribble warm water. There were also handles for the water that were not affixed to the wall and were marginally operational. BUT staff were amazing and overall a great property.

We wars here for 4 night. We love the Pool and Hot Tube. The place fot our RV wars good. The children had a lot of fun on playground.

My wife and I are snowbirds and have traveled the country staying at several RV parks and KOAs alike. The San Diego Metro KOA Resort is hands-down one of the best! The grounds are kept meticulously and the high-end amenities really give you the resort feel. The staff treated us like family and proactively worked to make sure everything about our stay was nothing shy of perfect. Indeed it was!

Great staff and nice location. We completely understand maintenance is always needed, but the blowers and street sweeper running all day were a bit distracting preventing much needed rest.

We stayed 5 nights on our trip to the San Diego area. The location is great for visiting North and South on San Diego and Coronado Island. The park is nice with large spaces, with shade. We were there during record rainfall and thankfully our spot stayed dry. We were disappointed that they didn't open the common areas that day since we were stuck for hours. The shower stalls are too small.

Lots of activities to keep the kiddos entertained! Will definitely be back! Only wish it wasn’t so close to the freeway, road noise at night is pretty loud.

Well, it was record rain in Chula Vista but we still had a great time! Had to leave a couple of days early and was immediately refunded. Everybody was very helpful. Can’t wait to come back when it is warmer and enjoy the beautiful pool!

Very helpfull staff. Clean place. So.ething should be done about the infestation of crows. There is crow poop all over the floor and trailer. The noise that the crows make in the morning at 6 am is obnoxious.

Very nice, very friendly and attentive to our needs. There are a LOT of crows in the trees and what comes out of them but what can you do�. Thanks for a great stay that was unfortunately cut short due to illness but you were very understanding and took care of us.

Friendly staff. Fish and chips were great. Good beers on tap. Clean park well maintained trained. Probably the most kids I have seen in a campground on our street. No chance for adults to use the pool or hot tub. Fun place if your a kid, not for someone that is looking for a quiet place for adults to relax.

We didn't spend much time at the property and we didn't use any of the amenities because we were at Sea World and we spent most of our time at the theme park. The only things I didn't like is how narrow the rows were and all the sites are too short. We don't have a huge RV and we didn't fit. If we weren't at the end of our row, it would have been very hard to get in and out. Character limit.......

First time here and we are in love The amenities, activities and the relaxing ambiance with the established tree line was just perfect!!! We look forward to coming back if I can get reservations :( everything I have tried this year is all booked up

Great campground. Wonderful pool area, great activities. Good location. Only issue was we stayed 2 nights on Wed and Thursday, campground not crowded and our site was right next to dumpsters? Why? We had booked months in advance….disappointed by this.

Supposed to be quiet between 10-7...kids and dogs out then ...kids riding noisy electric bikes, playing in the streets ..dogs out barking

Great KOA with nice features. Staff were professional and responsive. We would have rated this KOA a 10 but the hundreds of squawking crows that show up in the early morning and late evening leaving their deposits was annoying and this KOA has trees right at the end of each of many of their sites and it makes it very difficult to enter or exit your site with your RV.

Would have been perfect except laundry room opened 30 minutes late when I wanted to use it. Showers didn't seem to be as clean as in the past.

There should be a no smoking policy which includes marijuana on the property, the bounce mat shoe box area needs to be cleaned of trash, every time my kids used the pool, they threw up afterwards, staff who worked there were nice and friendly, we liked the holiday decorations

This place is absolutely beautiful, it's very well kept and taken care of. I just wished the staff at the front desk were a little nicer, I came in super excited to be there and they were a little short when giving the inf. about the park. Everyone else the security man was super nice

I've seen this place for years and watched it grow into a great place for campers, RV'ers, and travelers of all kind. They have plenty of activity for guests. Full size cabins, or tent size cabins. Places you can hook up your trailer and RV, and storage facility too. The staff is great and the fun you have is second to none. So glad my family and I can enjoy this place.

We went to San Diego Metro KOA for the first time in October 2023. We had an amazing time with Bobbi leading the Halloween activities. The bathrooms in the common areas were always clean. We saw Alicia cleaning repeatedly and she always had a smile on her face. Thank you!!!
