I was a little disappointed about the reservation system. I requested that everyone in our group (5 families ) be put in one area but we were scattered all throughout the place. Even though I communicated many times my plan.

Internet is terrible. Park is pretty clean except bird droppings all over site 1202, though much can't be done about birds. Surprised by some trash floating around the park. Employees drive too fast in their golf carts.

Always a great experience. Some opportunities: have more staff walkthroughs at the pool. Young kids (under 10) were at the pool without adult supervision, people brought dogs into the pool area. Cabins are great but would benefit from more storage or shelving to stay organized and a dedicated broom for outdoor cabin area would be helpful. Staff is friendly!

it’s always an incredible time at the KOA! the staff is super helpful and available yet not overbearing. the restrooms are always super clean. we love our stays at this KOA.

It was ok. Expensive for everything. You should have a family section and a seniors section. Plus not put seniors next to the cabins filled with kids. Our car got hit buy footballs and rocks from the flowerbeds because the parents just let the kids loose. Then loud music from several camping sites trying to drown out the others. Bird poop all over RV so have to pay to get it cleaned. Tight sites!

I didn't like to be welcomed at a front desk by a womed with an outfit like a funky girl that could or wouldn't like to inform me how to get with public transport to SD downtown. Why is it called KOA METRO?

We enjoyed this facility a lot. We did not have any children with us to enjoy the Halloween activities, but we enjoyed the relaxation, friendliness, and decorations of the campground. We also enjoyed handing out candies and watching the excitement in the eyes of the children camping around us. Next year we will bring our grandchild.

It was a fun experience for the entire family. All was wonderful although I do hope to see the playground sand better kept up as there was trash and debris in it during our 5 day stay. Aside from that it is a great park with lots of amenities and friendly and helpful staff.

Halloween fun! Came with family. Always a good time. I know the team tried changing how they did the costume contest but that still needs work. This was our second year for festivities. We are moving out of state or else it would definitely be an annual event. Thank you

The showers that are near the pool are nice but a few of them the water pressure is too low and the hot and cold are reversed? So when you 1st turn the lever the hot is 1st which could burn a child! Not good!!! Otherwise everything else is great!!!! Love the Fall Festival!

The Fall festival was awesome! Lots of activities for the kids and very well organized. We stay here a lot and it’s always very clean and staff is always super friendly! One suggestion I’d make is on non festival weekends adding a bike parade in the evening maybe paired with a bike decorating activity.

It was my best stay yet. KOAs are new to our family and never in a million years did I expect such fun. I am very pleased and thankful to all the workers at SD KOA.

Infested with crows roosting on the trees above everyones RV's and trailers. Crow poop everywhere and on everything in the camp ground. At 7pm all the crows fly in like a horror movie, all cawing and pooping. The pavement is white with bird poop...then at 6am like clockwork they leave all cawing and making a huge racket to wake everyone at 6am in the KOA.They did nothing to discourage the crows

My stay was outstanding. It was during the first weekend of the Halloween festival I also want to recognize Ruben in the check-in office, he was very friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend San Diego KOA to anybody camping.

Bobbi was such a wonderful leader of all the activities this weekend, she went above and beyond to make customer experience exceptional and we have the most fun we’ve ever had there this weekend. My kids also loved Madison and thought she was such a fun staff member! The food was also delicious at the cafe! Thanks for a great weekend!

Once again the costume contest was chaos. It was much better when those in costume did a parade around the track, past judges, and then winners were announced. The “dance” party style doesn’t work and creates confusion.

The fall fest halloween weekend festivities were awesome. we often visit chula and vail lake KOA. one of our favorites. only thing that was terrible was our site 8006. there were a lot of birds in that tree pooping all over our site, chairs, camper and even on our heads. it was terrible! i know it's not your fault and we're very happy with your KOA but maybe there is something you can do?

Best KOA RV park and activities anywhere. Excellently operated, Cafe has excellent food. Staff friendly and willing to hellp, Always a staff person roaming the park very visible. Only logistic was the Wi-Fi which I understand with this many people. I was in the middle of the park and could barely make a Wi-Fi phone call connect TV. Used my Hotspot .

Bobbie is a rockstar! She is truly amazing and most definitely made our whole trip so memorable! From the Wiffle ball game to the Halloween festivities. She is amazing. Madison (I hope that I’m getting her name right) was also such an amazing young lady. She was so good with the kids and I do believe she just loves her job! The whole weekend was amazing! Thank you!

We arrived on Monday and the park was mostly empty and quiet. The spot we were assigned was 3001, an end spot. We were cramped, could barely open our slides, and had to park the truck in the overflow parking. We asked for a different spot and the staff were awesome and accommodating. We moved, had plenty of room and enjoyed our stay. The kids loved it, especially the spooky train!

Everything was great about our stay from the awesome permanent tents, clean bathrooms and showers, dog friendly areas , fun swimming pool , really nice staff and activities for the kids!

We stayed in a electric/water tent spot (1312). It was great! Best camping experience ever. I would recommend this type of camping to anyone looking to get started with camping, as all of the basic necessities are provided for you by the campground. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. So many events going on throughout the day kept the kids busy. We will definitely recommend to everyone

I always fill up our gas tanks here. They have great prices and friendly staff. Never actually stayed at their beautiful establishment but I plan to in the future.

I've seen this place for years and watched it grow into a great place for campers, RV'ers, and travelers of all kind. They have plenty of activity for guests. Full size cabins, or tent size cabins. Places you can hook up your trailer and RV, and storage facility too. The staff is great and the fun you have is second to none. So glad my family and I can enjoy this place.

We went to San Diego Metro KOA for the first time in October 2023. We had an amazing time with Bobbi leading the Halloween activities. The bathrooms in the common areas were always clean. We saw Alicia cleaning repeatedly and she always had a smile on her face. Thank you!!!
