I realize that this campground was in Salt Lake City. It was very noisy... Also, the rain came in so we were not able to use the pool. Everyone was very helpful and pleasant

Grounds and facilities were very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Quiet, clean and conveniently located. Great small on-site store. Close to easy public transportation. Very friendly and helpful staff. Def the place to stay in SLC.

Area is in the city so take note. Internet is terrible. I think KOA should be a step about and have good internet at all locations. I like the site since they staggered the sites so utilities were back to back.

We have a truck and 30ft 5th wheel trailer. The site assigned to us should only be used for smaller units. If not for the help of Dan the park attendant we would not have got in to the site. As it was we only missed hitting a very large tree by inches!

We were parked right beside garbage , which was OVERFLOWING to say the least. Smelt and flies There were many open sites so this could have been avoided. Very sketchy neighborhood

Everything was well maintained and the staff was great.

Construction across the street was noisy

This KOA is one of our favorite properties. Close to down town and surrounding area.

Very friendly staff, we were pleased with our site..Thank. You Rjourney.

This is really two parks in one - more than half is a “residential community” with the remainder available for short term use. Sites are flat, paced and shaded and there is a delicious Mexican restaurant just steps away - you’ll likely be the only “gringo” dining there but the food is great and reasonably priced. The park itself is expensive but at least you’re getting value for price

The facilities and amenities were very nice. But the campground was noisy due to the power factory, trains, surrounding construction and the airport.

First time at this location. We found it very nice. The hot tub was so welcoming after a long day of travel.

Men’s room near office stalls had no TP. Shower same location were not clean. Facility in rear of campground were okay. Used the dog wash that was good. Grounds needed cleaning as small plastic trash was ground our campsite. Pricy, good location. Office call me to tell me the cleaning people were trained again on how to clean rest rooms. They are trying to meet what they charge but not there yet

Surprised that there was less city noise than expected. Loved the well groomed trees that are kept trimmed at a good height for all rigs. Nice having paved roads throughout. Would like to see the pavement better maintained. Site was not very level, so it collected large puddles with rain.

The overflowing dumpsters stank! Trash and cans around the entrance to the pool and restroom area. Easy fix...with all those employees buzzing around in carts.

Visited family for a week. Nice quiet place to home base. Good Mexican food nearby.

While the KOA site itself was well kept and the amenities were better than average, I have to give this two stars for recommendation to others. This is due to the inner city plight that surrounds this location. We felt unsafe even during the day of leaving the campground without being in a vehicle. We were advised by the staff not leave any camping equipment outside and I understand why.

Fantastic staff and supper accommodating. They even have a self RV Wash bay! We left there sparkling clean!

We were just looking for a one day stop on our way back from Montana to SoCal - and we are so grateful we found the Salt Lake City KOA!!! It checked all the boxes - friendly staff, clean camp ground, clean bathrooms and showers, clean pool with nice furniture, nice fire pit, nice playground with cornhole, and loads of shade trees! Thanks, KOA SLC!!!

Great clean, well taken care of RV Resort especially after rolling into it after 10+ hours on the road where you want no issues with hook ups so you can relax!

The park is very clean and well kept. What little interaction I had with the staff was very good. The dog park is wonderful. We took our two dachshunds there every afternoon and stayed quite awhile - picnic tables for "parents" to sit at and talk. It is also right on the public transportation line and is about 1 mile from the Salt Lake Temple. Great place to stay.

Downsides: crowded, busy, lots of city noise. Upsides: lots of trees for shade, good amenities (small store, pool, hot tub, playground, dog park, etc.) Clean facilities, utilities work well. And definitely the best camping spot in the Salt Lake Valley!

When I checked in the power was out so check in was a bit hectic and rushed. When we got our site it only fit the trailer. The truck wouldn’t fit. I’m not sure why as when I booked it it said trailer and 1 vehicle. There really wasn’t an area to hang out as the picnic table took the only space there was. The bathrooms were really clean. It was mentioned a pancake breakfast but no location or

the place is over priced and Lawns are not mowed or water just a bunch of high grass and not very clean

Nice place to stay in the middle of the city. The cost was a bit high, but overall nice amenities. Safe and clean.

The campground is very clean and well kept. It was quiet at nights and felt very safe. Being right next to the train was super beneficial for going downtown.

Very large and nice campground. Friendly and knowledgeable staff

We only stayed one evening and had a nice site with full hook ups. We were just turned off by all of the homeless close to the KOA. We also didn't realize that the KOA had many more full time residents than true campers.

Close to the city, many possibilities for children. We liked the pool and hot-tube. Only the noise during the night from the neighborhood (the build a house) was disturbing.

Lovely park with lots of trees. Pizza delivery was a bonus. However the car wash next to the park was great for washing our motor home.

I stay here often. It’s a well-located good campground. Trees provide shade during the summer. Winters are less crowded. If you’re looking to be close to downtown SLC, this is a great option. It’s also a short drive to the ski resorts. My only complaint from my most recent stay in August was the landscaping crew using the leaf blower to blow trash and leaves onto our spot.

little pricy

Staff was very friendly but the feel of the campground and the surroundings just did not impress. Great public transport though.

This KOA is our home base for exploring the west. We have returned several times. Campsites are level, close but not suffocating. Not scenic but extremely convenient to interstates, and trolley outside the door transports to airport, downtown and beyond. Pool, barbecue, clean facilities. Capable staff. Receives mail. Only negative: laundry opens at 9 am. Quick wash before leaving, not possible.

This was my 4th time staying there while visiting family and I always enjoy it.

• Staff are excellent. • Site was level. • Good cable TV. • Showers are clean and decent water pressure, no shortage of hot water. • WIFI is great, but I prefer to use my Rogers Hot Spot then I can watch my home cable TV. • They have propane on site. • 2 carwashes on the property, 1 is 11' clearance, the other 13' clearance and long enough for most RV's. • BBQ and Pizza restaurants on the property. • Great laundry room, plus another laundromat on the property. • Only 1 negative and that is the outlying neighborhood, but the KOA and VIP parks have 24 hour security. • I would stay here again.

Best campground ever. We have stayed here 3 times. What I love most is that you can fly in to SLC and take the light rail 2 stops from the airport. The KOA is literally across the street. We meet my mother here who has an RV. We go skiing at Alta without having to rent a car or drive a RV on a mountain road. You can take the light rail to a park and ride and then take a bus up to the resort. Incredibly convenient and safe. The campground staff obviously takes great pride in their place. Bathrooms are clean and modern, there are many activities for kids (basketball, and other outdoor games, game room, swimming pool, calm roads for riding bikes). Gas fire pits for gathering around in the evening. Free coffee and pancakes. Quiet campsites. I hope the family never gives up its property here in the city. Wish more cities had something like this for travelers.
