Our impression of this campground was it was like a Walmart parking lot and dirty. It was good for our purpose as we spent all day away from the campground, but when we were there, it was very noisy from people and vehicles turning down your street late at night. The sites were on top of one another and I would only recommend it if you were not going to spend time at the campground.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I felt the price per night was very high for the location and amenities at a tent site. There was also a concert and fireworks nearby that went on until midnight. It would be nice to notify guests if something like that were going on. We stopped here to sleep and hit the road again. It was difficult to get sleep with all the noise.

We liked the fact there are a lot of trees that provide shade at the sites. Convenient to the city and other attractions. This is a family friendly resort and kids have a great time here. There were so many kids jumping in and out, splashing and yelling, I couldn't enjoy it. They should consider adults only pool time 4p.m.-close like some other resorts.

The good: awesome staff, great pool and playground, wonderful shade trees, and activities for the kids. The bad: every night we were there (8 days) someone in the park had something stolen. The people beside us had all their bikes stolen and a kayak off the back of their trailer. The homeless wandered through the park all night. The other: dog poo everywhere you step. Lots of good! Lots of bad!!

Great campground! We loved it so much that we extended our stay by 2 days. Wonderful and helpful staff!

While this appeared to be a pretty nice park when checking in, I was not provided with a receipt. Then I was shocked to get an email to discover that even with my rewards, it was almost $100.00! This is the most expensive KOA we have ever stayed in! We didn't even pay that much for a much nicer KOA in Kissimmee FL. Then when the power went out for almost 2 hours and we could reach no one!

The KOA is well maintained and the pool and amenities are nice! However,The reason I rated it a 2 star: it is very unsafe .The campground is in downtown and is open to anyone walking through. We had bikes stolen during the night and another camper also had items stolen . We were woke up around 2AM by loud music . I would not recommend for a family ! I suggest Adding a fence/ gated community.

A very nice place to park your RV, I really recommend.

SLC KOA is not unlike KOAs we've stayed at around the country. Designed decades ago and has very little infrastructure upgrade investment to accommodate big Class A's towing. Sites are narrow and very close to the next sites, either side. The sewer head was only 18 feet from the REAR of the 65 foot pull-through Had to use a 35ft sewer hose to reach it. A royal PITA.

Great park, great people we had a great time, we did find the parking spots to close to each other, the length was fine however your neighbors were to close, overall though it was one of the best we have stayed at!

The park was clean and central, but very, very loud. Because it is located in the middle of the city, it really did not feel like a camping experience.

A beautiful city campground with lots of shade because many trees. Nice swming pool.

The campground is shaded EXCEPT for the patio sites, provided umbrella was broken. The patio sites are located next to the residence section, and those people drive way too fast and play their music too loud. Patio sites should include a bbq. The pool is entirely too small for the size of the campground. Do not even use the community bbq grills, they are disgusting. Staff nice. Decent laundry.

One of the nicest KOAs we’ve ever visited! The camp sites were shady and cool thanks to all the trees. The staff was very friendly and even tipped us off to a fireworks show that night at the Fairgrounds. We had no idea and would have completely missed it. Highly recommend!

Great service, pool and arcade. Clean bathrooms. Lots of beautiful trees and sites well shaded. Noisy from surrounding area, no grass at tent sites.

Nice park, spaces are quite close, too much litter on the ground. We would stay at the park if we return to SLC

It’s hard to believe this campground can call themselves a KOA, by far the worst experience I’ve had. While they can’t control the city around them they do little to keep the homeless and drug addicts out of the park. They claim to have night watch, however I never saw one. There was no one to help find sites, the dumpsters were overflowing, the code for the restrooms is changed without noti

Try to go to this KOA every year on our way to ND. Shade trees. Received Welcome and thank you texts. Mexican food on site . We will be back !

Our stay was fine. Didn't really care for the fact that anyone off the streets could come into the campground. It didn't feel safe. The good thing was it was close to mass transit, which was very convenient to get into the city.

It was a short stay, but very friendly, beautiful large trees at every site and nicely laid out. The staff was extremely friendly and the park was very clean!

Park clean and well maintained. Staff friendly. Sites are small and very tight. Maybe 5 feet btwn our spot and the next site. Some of the units were too long for assigned sites and blocked turns or roadway use. Very close to fairgrounds--heard the music venue and fireworks event. We won't stay here again.

Clean sites and friendly staff.

Lot of trash and weeds. Need to enforce the speed limit. A park that size needs to have either a bigger pool or two pools.

Lovely, clean well kept site for tents and RV's, friendly, helpful staff and comfortable functional facilities!

Staff very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Camp grounds clean. Easy to get around in, great annemities

Sites were very nice and well spaced. People walking through our campsite and others constantly. Had to watch out for dog poop by our connections as there was a fresh pile both days. Bathrooms were disgusting but not because of staff but because place is busy and over used. Nice pool and good service in the store.

The place is very clean, they have everything that you need: little store inside, dog park, very clean shower area & restrooms, pool, laundry, Basketball court and others areas to spend time with your family. The personal are very nice and they have people skills, they gave me a little welcome cookie for my dogs.

Stay here everytime we come to town never disappointed

The problem with the homeless is not your problem, with all the sites you have and being in the inner city I feel the whole Kia should be closed off to the public. While my wife and I where doing laundry to addicts walked in to use change machine. The staff was great if it was closed off I would come back.

Plenty to do, plus there was a Mexican restaurant on site with great food.

Great KOA with lots of amenities and helpful staff. I’d stay here again. Sketchy part of town but that isn’t the fault of the KOA.

Not secure, campsite dirty, super crowded

Fun stay! Near everything in SLC.

We had a tent site. I didn't realize when we booked that it was right by the road and we were woken up in the morning by traffic that was only a few feet away. The tent site was also extremely dry. This was our fourth KOA on our trip and we ended up bending two of our tent stakes setting up. Great pool and hot tub, though.

Great washers and dryers they all work, site was clean, pool was nice and the people were great in the office. A bit sketchy neighborhood so don’t wonder far. But was great place besides that.

This KOA has a lot going for it such as a great location, abundant shade trees, and good infrastructure. Sadly, maintenance is not doing a good job. The bathrooms were filthy with little attention and the dumpsters were overflowing. It could be so much better!

Staff is wonderful. Great location. Will return every time we pass through Utah!

Our campsite was not level. It was cramped and under a blazing streetlight.

• Staff are excellent. • Site was level. • Good cable TV. • Showers are clean and decent water pressure, no shortage of hot water. • WIFI is great, but I prefer to use my Rogers Hot Spot then I can watch my home cable TV. • They have propane on site. • 2 carwashes on the property, 1 is 11' clearance, the other 13' clearance and long enough for most RV's. • BBQ and Pizza restaurants on the property. • Great laundry room, plus another laundromat on the property. • Only 1 negative and that is the outlying neighborhood, but the KOA and VIP parks have 24 hour security. • I would stay here again.

Best campground ever. We have stayed here 3 times. What I love most is that you can fly in to SLC and take the light rail 2 stops from the airport. The KOA is literally across the street. We meet my mother here who has an RV. We go skiing at Alta without having to rent a car or drive a RV on a mountain road. You can take the light rail to a park and ride and then take a bus up to the resort. Incredibly convenient and safe. The campground staff obviously takes great pride in their place. Bathrooms are clean and modern, there are many activities for kids (basketball, and other outdoor games, game room, swimming pool, calm roads for riding bikes). Gas fire pits for gathering around in the evening. Free coffee and pancakes. Quiet campsites. I hope the family never gives up its property here in the city. Wish more cities had something like this for travelers.
