Great park. staff was very friendly. They were able to give my preferred spot. The store was well stocked. Pancake breakfast was a nice freebie. Park is on transit line and light rail.

Our stay was brief, but the late night registration was seamless aside from not being provided the bathroom code (must call overnight attendant). The grounds were very well kept, and shaded by a beautiful canopy of trees. As advertised. We gave this site 4 stars because of the not so great neighborhood (we assume why we weren’t provided with a bathroom code). We would, however, stay here again.

We stay there twice a year. We will skip the Salt Lake KOA in the future. Homeless problem is literally on the outside of fence. Holes have been cut in the fence between the two. We ask if they had security drive through at night and told no.

We were very impressed with the campground. It ended though on a bad note when we had to leave at 12:30 and the front desk insisted on charging us $17 for a late check out. The campground was probably only 25% full and there was no inconvenience to the campground, so it was an annoyance for someone having to follow "policy" when there was no need to. Left a bad impression as we drove away.

Staff was very friendly and hard working. But the location is dangerous. I had to call the police 2 times. First time a homeless person tried to break into my trailer with my kids inside at 630 in the evening with people walking around outside. Second time around 930pm I had a homeless person high on drugs screaming at me through a fence about 50 feet from my site that he’s going to come kill me

Slightly dodgy location but toilets were clean & showers were nice & hot. Only stayed a night on our way through so didn’t need much. Sinks in the pavilion weren’t working but I could use the laundry ones. WiFi was pretty slow & would not class as high speed as advertised.

Thank you for your honest review. We are working to repair the WIFI as soon as possible. Our sinks in the pavilion will be turned on soon as winter is coming to an end. We hope you will give us another chance when we are in our full summer season and all amenities are open.

We stayed there at our begin trip across country and returning. We love koa camp ground. The only comment is that most do not have enough room in the shower. I sure wish koa would upgrade showers. But thanks we enjoyed!

Camp grounds were mostly live in campers, power outage happened for about 4 hours one day. Not koa's fault the entire block was down. Surrounding the camp grounds is a huge homeless population making being inside the campgrounds feel unsafe. Staff was nice and helpful ammentities were few but everything they did have worked. Just not a family friendly location.

The park is super clean and the employees are friendly. The only bad thing is the location or rather what’s right outside the park. It is not a very nice area but the park itself is safe.

Nice urban campground. Located in busy area, lots of city noise. We needed a overnite parking space on our return home. Easy access. Friendly staff, pull thru site, well maintained campground. Worked great for our needs, will use again.

The staff was extremely friendly and nice. We stayed in the one room cabin with bathroom. The cabin was well stocked and very clean and nice. It had a cute fire pit outside. Our cabin was very quiet in the back of the campground. The heater was noisy but wall heaters are a bit noisy and we appreciated being warm.

Great campground. Level, easy access off freeway, best bathroom facilities we’ve seen and hot tub open in the winter. Close to downtown. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only drawback was a large homeless population right outside park.

Toilets and showers are not cleaned daily. Unsanitary. Other than that it's a good place to stay.

Facility should be gated to prevent homeless people from the neighborhood from wandering in and also to prevent neighborhood people from filling the dumpsters late at night. We experienced both! Women’s bathroom smells like sewer.

Great! We were waiting for a long term spot and the wait time for that was quoted 2-3 weeks, and only took a week! Great, friendly staff!

Very nice campground hosted by an incredibly friendly staff. Location was great and right next to the cities light rail for quick trips downtown. We will ad this location to our winter lap of the west coast.

Its a great location but i like it quiet. Its right by the power plant, airport, so it can get pretty noisy, i guess I'm used to the nice quiet countryside.

• Staff are excellent. • Site was level. • Good cable TV. • Showers are clean and decent water pressure, no shortage of hot water. • WIFI is great, but I prefer to use my Rogers Hot Spot then I can watch my home cable TV. • They have propane on site. • 2 carwashes on the property, 1 is 11' clearance, the other 13' clearance and long enough for most RV's. • BBQ and Pizza restaurants on the property. • Great laundry room, plus another laundromat on the property. • Only 1 negative and that is the outlying neighborhood, but the KOA and VIP parks have 24 hour security. • I would stay here again.

Best campground ever. We have stayed here 3 times. What I love most is that you can fly in to SLC and take the light rail 2 stops from the airport. The KOA is literally across the street. We meet my mother here who has an RV. We go skiing at Alta without having to rent a car or drive a RV on a mountain road. You can take the light rail to a park and ride and then take a bus up to the resort. Incredibly convenient and safe. The campground staff obviously takes great pride in their place. Bathrooms are clean and modern, there are many activities for kids (basketball, and other outdoor games, game room, swimming pool, calm roads for riding bikes). Gas fire pits for gathering around in the evening. Free coffee and pancakes. Quiet campsites. I hope the family never gives up its property here in the city. Wish more cities had something like this for travelers.
